As a common citizen I did not understand what a challenge or engineering behind those new train launched in India. But now understood how the train have different parts designed and assembled for public service. Vande Bharat is Indian iconic train. Salute the engineers and Central Govt.

This is a great documentation of India’s growth story. As they say “हाथी ख़रीदना आसान पर पालना मुश्किल”, it’s easy procuring them but difficult maintaining them. Hats off to the entire team of Matunga workshop and vendor suppliers of Vande Bharat for making this exhaustive overhaul look like a piece a cake.

LHB coach ki body shell ki design copy, paste & edit kar diya hai ICF waalo ne. Comfort experience enhance karne ke liye better suspension market mein jo available tha, ootha liya. Asli kaam agar kisi ne kiya hai toh woh Medha company hai. Medha ke bane Electrical electronics ke jitne bhi equipments lage hai unme atleast kuch % originality hai. Unhone GE, Siemens ki design kiye hue products ki carbon copy nahi nikali. 18 months mein koi new design se le kar prototype manufactured nahi ho jaati. Itna toh alstom, ge jaise experienced manufacturers ne bhi nahi kiya aaj tak.
Copy paste? Kiska bhai? Khudke hi product ka technology use karne ko copy kabse term hone laga? Utha liya utha liya kar rahe ho, to let me know which company or manufacturer in any field has used all the new inventions in either of thier products please?

From now on, whenever I cross the Matunga Workshop in a local train, I would look at it with great pride and respect. This is the place with amazing technicians and great craftsmen/craftswomen. Amazing Video. Absolute top quality stuff both in terms of technical details and relevant commentary. The video sequenced the work in a nice way to understand the process. There is so much pride in Matunga Engineers and staff, it is such a nice feeling. They handled the train with love and affection for a child. The word 'Challenge' is used by almost every staff member, it makes me wonder how humans raise the bar when challenged. A great feeling. They are the real heros of New India. More importantly, it is great to see women employed in blue collered work and they looked very cheerful and motivated. I am sure they might not get differential pay in Railways. About 80% of the people were having their helmets on. I wish it is 100%. Perhaps Railways need to implement this safety aspect rigorously. From now on when I get into a Vande Bharat or for that matter any train, I will remember these unsung heroes and thank them for my safe journey at a very nominal cost. Congrats to Saurabh Raut for a great documentary.

Indian railways ministry needs to hire at least 50 thousands rail coach cleaners, 40 thousand rail station cleaners & 20 thousand rail line guards to maintain a clean, safe & sustainable system. Rail workshops should use rainwater or treated water from polluted rivers to clean coaches.

Perhaps the VB front must be strengthened further, like a tank, considering the crazies who throw stones, the wackos who open bolts, the animals who dump animals on tracks, and the pure evil demons who sabotage entire lengths of rail.
@@PradeepKumar-lg7pd Matunga Workshop do have automatic painting infrastructure for regular ICF and LHB coaches. VB was in its SS1, which is why no full body painting is involved. We might see in SS2 Overhaul
I really hope the maintenance is up to standard and not like usual IR must invest more to train staff and "engineers" than the rolling stock itself. Because maintenance and overhaul is way more important than just manufacturing! The day IR realizes this India will change!
