I swear you drove by my house when you were towing this. I live on I-40 in Tennessee and looked out and said "there is an Incredible Tiny Home." It was in Putnam County.
Haha that’s funny. Could well have been!
Very nice view of ITH👍
Thanks 👍
Congrats on your very 1st Tiny @ The Cottages at Pine Lake! 🎉 Woohoo!
Thanks so much!!
Awesome! Thanks Hans!
You are welcome!
Congratulations, many more to come!!!
Yes indeed!
How exciting! Congrats!! 👏
Thank you!!
Congratulations! Can't wait to see the progress! I really enjoyed the drone footage of ITH...I love how all colors look great on all the IncrediBox's when lined up like that.
Yes pretty neat! Can’t wait to see all the homes around the Lake in Alabama as the homes get built and delivered later this upcoming winter and spring 2024!
Great job getting her done!
Thank you!
Great drone footage of the ITH compound. We really got to see what it looks like and a better sense of the home density. I like it.
I love Hans' first house on the lake! Congratulations! I am loving the tiny home concept. I am disabled and never thought I could own a home again because I couldn't keep up all the maintenance! I've been doing homework on places/communities where tiny houses are allowed by law and popular and found quite a bunch. However, my major hesitation is every one of them has you "rent" your lot. Some include utilities and some do not. They range $600-$200/month. Honestly, that's cheaper than renting anything else BUT what if you're evicted or the landowner chooses not to renew your lease or they go bankrupt? What do you do with that house now? It's not like you can just move to another place like you can with apartments. I have searched to buy land to put my tiny home but then you have no neighbors, no community. I'd miss that alot. So how does a worry wart like me get past the lot rental problem?
Randy is looking into selling the lots!
@@happy.homestead Hi, I’m catching up on videos. Randy’s selling his lots, no more leases ?
@@Lynore_Marie He and Amanda mentioned in a few videos back, they're looking into doing that. They're going to move the building facility elsewhere nearby... they've run out of room...
if you choose to purchase land you can allow others to put their tiny house there, just a few so you all can have a small community
I would go with Hans spots before I would the one in Newport. That community is on a landfill. TOXIC 😮
Wow! I worried about that window the whole time! Good job - looks great 😊
Haha, yes one rock could have made it a really bad day lol. But my truck was on front and the bay window was pretty close to the back of my truck so it would have to be a rock from high up to hit that window. What a cool view though I thought going down the highway :)
Me, too!!
Good morning sir. That place where they make the tiny homes is cool but all the homes do not have much room between them look cramped and I like more space between me and the neighbor 😊👍
We’ve got some lots open near Huntsville, Alabama at The Cottages at Pine Lake, where you can put your tiny house on the lake shore
I’m so excited to see how you’re going to design the home. Actually I’m jealous and happy for you at the same time. It’s beautiful!!!
No pressure haha :)
Congratulations 🎉🎊 Very nice tiny home 🏡
Thank you!! 😊
Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
Thank you
Congrats!
Thanks 🙏
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👈🏾
👍👍
Loved the drone footage!
And it’s wonderful that what you said was going to happen, is happening, you are to be commended!
Thank you, yes, we have an exciting vision for this property and are moving closer everyday in some fashion toward fruition. This first tiny house on the property will hopefully now help people begin to more easily see what a tiny house community here is going to look like :)
I love the drone footage of ITH. Congratulations on the first tiny @ Pines Lake!!!🏡🏡🏡🎉🎉🎉
Thanks, Incred-I-Cottage Tiny Home on its way next, and then the residents’ homes will start arriving late January
Thank you Hans 🎉
Thank you for your comment!
A Tiny Home under the Pines…. Beautiful ! I loved your drone footage through Tiny Town. Another great video ! Thanks Hans.
Thank you, I’d been wanting to get that drone footage for a while now, got more I’ll feature in future videos as well
I love the RJO! I'm getting one, definitely! Great shots of the transport....so imaginative, and the RJO looks perfect in that woodsy scene. Nicely done, my friend.
Thank you! And yes I agree, RJO looks great on the property! Can't wait to start seeing a whole bunch more of them on the property soon!
I love Randy and Amanda
Great people!
Congratulations! I will be in Newport, but have enjoyed progress in your tiny home community! Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate the comment!
Kudos for moving that thing in the rain good job!
Haha yes, thought I would make it back before the rain, but just light rain, all good!
Congratulations on your new home will be watching for more videos too come thank you.
More videos uploaded all the time! Lots to share! Enjoy!
Love the tiny house. You can trace a piece of wood for that window space and connect it to that space with legs on either side to make a bed would be great
Great idea!
Cool get to see the drive from inside the RJO 👍😊
Thanks 👍 That big window, thought it would be a neat view!
That RJO is big enough for 1 person and I like it but do not need the bay window. Just the mini split and the solar so I could be off grid 👍
To each his own! That bay window is a $2500 add-on so that would save you some money
Loved the drone footage of the ITH communities and the RJO traveling. Great idea to put a camera in the RJO so you could see the trip from both perspectives. I think the Cottages will look great with all the different tiny homes there and all the improvements you are doing. If I didn't already have a tiny at ITH, I would seriously consider putting an 8x24 RJO (have to have the 36" shower and more room) at the Cottages. Thanks for the video!
Thanks! Yes, that huge window, I had to do it, wasn't planning on it, just kind of worked out. I appreciate it!
The RJO looks good sitting there 👍
I agree!
🤘
Thanks again!
Love it!
Thanks!
Congratulations!
Thanks!
You are lucky that window didn’t catch a rock.
Yes, that would have ruined the day lol
Not sure if you did but while towing would be a perfect time for you to display your RUclips channel and what you are doing, free advertisement. Good Luck wish you was north of Tennessee I would be there for sure.
That’s a good idea. I’ll get some magnetic signs for the next trip! 👍
Congrats on #1! 🎉
:)
Great video! I also like that you're able to, at this point, reply to people's comments and questions. Would you be able to park that with the beautiful bay window facing the lake?🤔 I mean, I know you're just getting it there and all.
That's the plan! Would be easier if the hitch was on the other side lol but I agree, bay window facing the lake will be awesome (will be moved into just such a location soon, to serve as a model home on-site / office - you will definitely see footage of that soon!)
@gotinybefree Awesome! Looking forward to following your endeavor. 😊
Awesome, cant wait for mine. How did it tow? How mamy miles did you ttavel and what was your top speed. What size is your dodge? Thanks and congragulations
I went about 250 miles, Newport, TN ti Woodville, AL. I was able to go about 65 with it, otherwise it started to sway some. Depended on the road / type of asphalt and wind. 60mph was very comfortable. I was towing with a 3500 Ram diesel 1-ton with the 5.9 Cummins (not the dually), hardly felt it back there. The bay window added a lot more weight over the front otherwise I hear it’s a little heavier in the back so could bounce around a little more
With that bay window on the front it looks like you would be careful not to turn too sharp!
Yes it does stick out quite a bit, huge window!
I was also thinking that I would probably have put cardboard up over that window to avoid a possible rock hitting and breaking it. Grin.
I’m glad your trip was successful!!!
To be honest I just don’t like the old panels! I would want a 24’. But how exciting for you!
The new panels are a little more expensive but they are very nice indeed!
Great style & technique for this video!
I unfortunately do not care for all those ugly rivets everywhere, painted over you can still see them, it'd have to be wallpapered or stucco over.
I totally understand! Me too!
I understand. They worked perfectly in my prior steel panel home “the spROCKET” with a steam-punk/industrial theme! And honestly with the right paint you don’t notice them as much. But sounds like the 2.0 panels for a little more money would work better for you
No place for your clothes.I love tiny houses but a closet is a must have.
How about putting it on a 24' trailer for a small deck
Love this. Does anyone know how much the 8 by 16 is without the bay window just in its basic format?
does It have to be rjo or can you bring a different model there?
This 1st tiny home actually serves multiple purposes. I wanted a tiny house on site to help show in (upcoming) pictures and videos what the property looks like with a real tiny house on it, to give perspective on space, how it compares to the trees and ground around it, etc… But it’s also going to serve as a sales office for now, so people can also see the space inside the tiny home, etc.But to answer your question, you can buy any new ITH tiny home for this property
How are the back-up lights connected to your truck?
Not sure what you mean... I was using some additional handheld lights in some of the video to light the way and to show better for the video, though my truck's backup lights I replaced with really bright LEDs...
The house is on a trailer. They are trailer lights. Trailer lights normally connect through a wire connected to the tow vehicle. Just like any other trailer would.
How much $
You can get a 24-ft RJO Tiny Home like this one (but 8 feet longer) for $35,000 in phase 1 of our community, or for $40,000 on the lake in phase 2 (till Dec 31). Visit GoTinyCottages.com to learn more
Thanks
Are these real cheap? The walls look like crap. Gaps and exposed screws everywhere. They could have atleast painted over the screws or used white ones.
These homes are very inexpensive yes, they are made from remnants screwed together (steel and closed cell spray foam, mind you, so with the screws so close together around all 4 edges makes them very strong and waterproof - tested to carry 5,000 lbs on the roof for example). This model was a $15,000 home (+$2500 bay window), with full working kitchen, bathroom, plumbing and electrical. A simple coat of paint goes a long way if you don't like the look, but some people actually prefer it rough, industrial looking. It's a DIY where you can decorate it yourself and make it yours with cosmetics, the structure is sound and its a functional home. Blank canvas. Also, you can get the finished panels that don't show any fasteners for a $7,000 upgrade. Great homes!
ITH has zero marketing sense/skills. They should be promoting your channel on their channel. At least put the link in their description. I didn't the link in the video's I viewed.
I just checked in the description and there is a link actually there are two links.
@tennesseeterri Oh really? They must not put it on all their videos mentioning The Cottages. They rarely put links or any info in their description area. Even when they say they will...it never gets done.
The links ARE on THIS one.
Congrats on your first home Hans.. we were able to get a place at ITH but thanks for answering all my messages..how very exciting for you all..loved the drone at ITH as ❤️🩹❤❤❤
This is actually my 5th tiny home (built and lived in my first one, a 40-footer in 2015, the rest are airbnbs in Huntsville), but first tiny home on The Cottages at Pine Lake! Appreciate your comments!
