- iPhone 14 Pro Max has been known to have more bugs and glitches than any iPhone ever made. I was ready to make a change and used the opportunity to try jumping from the largest phone in the lineup, to the smallest iPhone 13 mini. Here's my experience switching.

Love my iPhone 12 Mini. Want a 15 Mini for sure. Great to see so many reviewers championing the comeback of this little beast. Hope Apple listens.
there unfortunately wont be a 15 mini
Then you'll love the 13 Mini even more with its longer lasting battery :D
@@niharc hopefully tho, the new SE picks up where the Mini left off. That would be DOPE, specially for the lower price.
@@hyke23 if there is an SE4, I'd love it if it had a notch display with good battery life and the A16 bionic
I'd definitely look into buying that
@salorion3011 how long your 12 mini lasts? what's the screen on time?
I had the 12 Mini when it was released and I loved it. I feel like it truly lived up to the vision of Steve Jobs, a simple phone that could be used with one hand without sacrificing any features. I just purchased the 14 Plus simply because I wanted one in the new yellow color, but I have to say there’s just something about the smaller iPhones that I really miss. It’s almost as if the smaller size makes it feel as if your phone has a smaller, less significant presence in your life, making you put it down occasionally to enjoy the real world around you that much more.
Justo for the color? Wtf
I have 14Plus and 12mini both are good phone❤
Ohkay bruh it’s not that deep
this. this is the reason why ill get the mini. fits in m pocket a lot easier, less weight when i run, a bit more away from screen time, and kinda reminds me of the perfect iphone 5 size, with the iphone X size display (almost that size). It makes no sense to have a larger screeb that barelly fits in the pocket, if they have so many different sized ipads if i want to switch to big ios with apple pencil option and real book size.
yeah i think 14 pro is just the right size
Been using the mini for a year now. It’s all I need. Compact and powerful. Yes u have to top up the battery once in the evening but the form factor beats everything. Gonna hold on to it till it lasts.
I hope they do occasional refreshes
Agree!!! I’m happy with my 13mini..
I have a shower mag charger... 20 minutes in the morning, 40-60 minutes in the afternoon you can go 3-4 days
I went from the 12 pro max to the 13 mini a month ago. No regrets at all. The portability is soo nice...it's lighter, takes up less space, and is just easier to use.
Same here no regrets!
I have the 12PM also and I’m thinking of that switch myself.
Wow I had the iPhone 12 mini and switched to 12 pro due to screen being to small for me both good phones in my opinion no complaints
Have you tried the 6.1 iPhone? To me, that’s the sweet spot!
Upgraded from iPhone 8 straight to iPhone 13 mini, and I absolutely loved it. It feels like an actual *cell phone* and not a mini tablet that could fall out of your hand at any moment and shatter. I hope they bring back the mini, or at least make an iPhone SE with the same size.
Will have had the 13 mini for two years this november, and I have to say: probably my favourite phone I've owned. The small size feels secure in my hand and pocket, don't need to worry about it falling out when I sit down. Battery is fine for my usage, and some nights I don't bother charging.
Hanging on to it for a while longer. Hope they release another phone in this form factor down the line.
I have both the 13 Pro and the 13 Mini. I keep switching between them as my main phone, together with an Watch U. I like both, but for a more active lifestyle (gym, cycling, running, trekking), the Pro models have a great disadvantage from the weight perspective. And then I turn to the Mini....
The weight of the Pro Max is insane. I LOVE the phone but I think it’ll give me carpal tunnel long-term 😂
Same here. I switch the sim between my 13 Pro and 13 Mini for the same reasons. Great system for me!
really need some feed back, i switched to verizon and got the iphone 14 pro for free with a trade in of my old galaxy s21, i love the camera, screen and battery life of the 14 pro but cant stand how heavy the phone is and the intrusive camera bump, i could trade it back and get the iphone 13 mini for free and still keep my galaxy s21, is the battery life and camera that much more noticeable from the 13 mini to the 14 pro?
@@CJ-vq5tg the mini does not have a telephoto lens whereas the pro does. So if your S 21 has a telephoto lens, that’s the only thing you’ll feel that you are missing. And yes, the iPhone pros are stupidly heavy because for some reason Apple thinks steel is better.
I don't have anything to switch 😂
Just bought a 13 mini this weekend just gone. I love the form factor. The text size is a bit small at default and I haven't tried properly using it as a sat nav in the car yet but the size, weight, one handed usability, all so so good. Even the battery life is plenty for what I need.
I’ve had very minimal software issues with my 14 pro max, and none of the software issues have prevented me from using the phone at all. Overall very happy 👍
I just switched from a Pro Max to a 13 mini and love it! The nostalgia factor is amazing. You’ve got the iPhone 5 form with a full screen display, 5.4”! and face unlock. I forgot how convenient it is to have a phone that I can operate with one hand. In fact I just watched, liked and commented on this video single single-handedly. What a relief!
I was stuck on iPhone XS, last year waited until presentation of iPhone 14, but after presentation and first review online I went straight to iPhone 13 mini! The real pocket size ratio and usability of the Mini are for me everything!
13 mini is not for everyone.
It is for you if:
1. You use or you want to use your phone less.
2. You are on digital detox right now.
3. You want to be able to use your phone with one hand.
4. You want a small phone to fit in any pocket.
I have been using a 12 mini for a month now and I am absolutely loving it. Switched from a 6.5 inch Android phone and just by comparing sizes I can say that it was a complete disaster for me. Being able to use the thing with single hand is one thing that I can not give up ever again.
Is the display enough for watching videos like RUclips, Netflix? I use my smartphone as the main content consumption device and I too use 6.5 inch Android.
@@Akash_Das27 I use my phone to consume youtube/instagram/reddit etc and screen size is enough for me. But for watching shows on Netflix etc. I wouldn’t use a mini phone. I use my iPad for these contents. If you have an Apple store nearby you should give 13 mini a try to decide.
Great video! As a small phone enthusiast, and someone who doesn't consume a lot of multimedia content, I've been loving the 13 mini. This video gives me hoop we'll see a new mini somewhere in the future.
I hope so! Mini has been making a huge comeback this year. I hope Apple gets the message.
Apple placed the mini with the plus but we gotta pray for a 15 mini 😰😰😰😰😰😰
Mr vittor tech give me a iPhone 13 mini
I used the 13 Pro for a year and 4 months. When I was using the phone, it lacked nothing. However, when the 13 Pro was in my pocket I could constantly feel the extra size and weight. Therefore, a week ago, I switched to the 13 mini. I love the smaller weight and size of the 13 mini when it's in my pocket. To help with battery life when traveling or expecting a heavy use day, I have a MagSafe battery pack. The deciding factor is which size and weight you prefer. Based on those preferences I'd recommend any of the iPhone 14 lineup or the 13 mini.
I just ordered the 13 mini. Love the smaller size and one handability!
I've been using the 12 Mini since it came out and I must say despite the fact that I love how light it is and compact I am however glancing over the Pro models. The only thing that sucks is that the Pro models feel like a Brick next to the feather light Mini. I miss the days were the main line up were compact. We need that again. I know the sales decide in what direction Apple is heading tough. Thats also why the mini line up died so quick. Sad story.
Here's hoping they bring the Mini back from the iPhone 16 series onwards. Apple will have the 14 & 15 series to know that their plus model is a bigger failure
@@bayernrocks There will be no Iphone 16, mark my words.
I agree with this. If both the mini and plus are "failures", I hope the mini performed better and they bring it back. Fingers crossed.
@@elitefamilyparkour why would that be?
Try the standard model, this is in-between the two
went from a 13 Pro Max to a 13 Mini and never looked back. So refreshing carrying around a phone this size and weight. I dont see myself ever going back to a phablet phone again.
How has battery life been for you long-term?
I did same last year…I had the iPhone 13 Pro Max then switched to iPhone 13 Mini…and very happy with it. The ease of use and comfort with just one hand. Battery may not last longer than the Max, but it charges fast anyway.
upgraded from 12 mini to 13 mini. will keep it as long as possible till the next one!
I hope Apple is watching because the iPhone Mini made a huge comeback late 2022 early 2023. I personally bought one and have used it for a month now, no complaints. I had a pro max model and bought the mini ..I use it very different, not a media person when about going on my daily schedule. I can go a 10 hour day and end up with 50-60% . I don’t plague it with notifications either. It’s great!
It's making a HUGE comeback right now. I just heard reports that the next iPhone might have a larger screen so I hope they bring back a mini for those who don't want that.
As a weirdo who almost always carries around an iPad Mini 6 (cellular), the iPhone Mini 13 is a perfect companion device. I’m usually using the iPad for media, reading, browsing and gaming and the iPhone for general phone stuff/shorter stints of media consumption and browsing.
The iPad mini is such an underrated device.
Wow best video and best explanation, no loud background music and crystal clear voice.... Now I'm your new subscriber 🙏😀
Switched from a 12 Pro Max to the 13 mini last month. Couldn't be happier
I’ve had the 12 Mini since launch untill I got the 13 Mini this monday. It’s a subtile but good quality of life upgrade and I love it.
Hope Apple revives the Mini-segment in the future. 🤞
I went from an Iphone 12 pro max to a 13 mini. It works! I love being able to control the phone effortlessly with one hand. Also, I love talking on it! It feels like an actual phone. As far as power intense task. . I haven't had any issues. Hoping for a pro mini.
Im using 13 mini ever since it came out. I find it suit with me since I don't really spend a lot of time using the phone BUT whenever I spent a lot of time on it at my in law house, I often need to use the charger after 5-6 hours of scrolling social media.
Got the 13 mini love it !! Had it for a year my favorite iPhone I’ve had yet and I’ve been an iPhone user sinse day 1
The mini always solos
The Iphone 13 Mini is the ideal phone for me. Probably the best phone I’ve had in awhile. It’s comfortable, refreshing and fun. I would prefer to see smaller devices in the long run. Having to carry less weight is essential. Plus, having stuffed pockets while walking around may not be the best idea. Hope Apple will continue with the mini form factor, as an alternative for us who want to have a break from all these gargantuan phones. Sadly, This 13 mini will be the last of the breed. Shame on Apple for ending the Mini series. If Apple still want to continue with the mini, I think Apple should update the mini lineup every 2/3years.
Thank you for the thoughtful analysis...
Glad you enjoyed it!
I got the 13 mini right when it came out. Typing on it right now, love this thing.
I did a gradual/ trial switch recently, I’ve only used Android in the past, but was so fed up with the Pixel 4 that I bought a cheap second hand SE 2020, to see if the ecosystem change would be okay. It was, so this year I bought the 13 mini, and I love it 🥰 it does sometimes feel like having a toy phone, but I’m short and my grip isn’t great, so tiny phones work for me.
I love the mini! I agree it sometimes feels like a toy.
Why do you say it feels like a toy?
@@millie9814 just the size, it’s even smaller than the iPhone SE. It is a lovely little thing
@@waggermama No way! I have an SE 2020 and it's so small and cute! I thought the 13 mini was bigger!
I also went from a Pixel 4 to an iPhone lol. The pixel was so buggy at times and the interface just isn’t as good as iOS
I love my iPhone 13 mini too… zero problems, super easy to use no matter where I go! Totally agree, kept it over the 14!
Yeah, I returned my 14 Pro because of all of the issues and cost. I'm on a budget and it just doesn't feel right have an expensive phone with so many issues. I'd understand up to maybe 3-4 months but some of these serious issues may not be solved via iOS like the problems with the cameras not focusing right, especially in apps like WhatsApp, barcode scanners, etc. I really wish I had bought a 13 Pro when those were still new but they're almost impossible to find new now and I don't trust 3rd party resellers of used ones. So, I've been debating between 13 and 14 for a bit and leaning towards the 14. It seems like the 14 has some decent extras over the 13 while having less issues compared to the 14 Pro. I think Apple screwed up with the Pro line in general, they should just have 1 line of phones per year with different sizes and any extras like special lenses can be purchased separately like you can buy phone camera lenses on Amazon. Having so many options makes it stressful for the consumer to make a choice, there is now yet another thing for people to try to impress or one-up each other over, and makes it more complicated for Apple dealing with more differences in hardware and having to tweak iOS for each model. I don't think it'd be like this if Steve Jobs was still alive.
The autofocus is so infuriating in daily use. I’m shocked it shipped like this.
If Steve Jobs was still here you’d simply have a 14, a 14+ a 14s and a 14s plus.
I would get the iPhone 13 it’s a great phone. I just took back my iPhone 14 today and went back to my 13. I felt like I bought the same phone. The 13 has great battery life.
I had the 12 Mini for a month. The screen was so sharp in such a small size plus it was more narrow feeling then my iPhone 8 so texting was harder. I ended up getting the regular 6’1 iPhone 12.
I literally did the EXACT same thing at the same time 😂Love this phone! Small and amazing!
I think the stuff you mentioned about using CarPlay wirelessly is something that gets overlooked by a LOT of reviewers. I found that my 12 Pro struggled a bit with battery life when using wireless CarPlay, ESPECIALLY if I was using navigation. My 12 Pro Max dealt with it a bit better because of the larger battery and my 13 Pro Max even better. I don't recall heat being an issue much and the battery drain was usually pretty reasonable if all I was doing was listening to music.
It's true. I do a lot of CarPlay testing on the channel and I think the need for wired CarPlay is the only reason Apple hasn't made the jump to a completely wireless iPhone.
@@VittorTech I agree. I think a completely wireless iPhone would be a mistake for a variety of reasons, unless they planned to go with a magsafe style port like they have on the new Macbooks.
Thank you. I just got an iPhone 13 mini and wasn’t sure I made the right choice. I’m feeling better about my phone now and look forward to your performance review that you mention.
still with 13 mini?😂
I’ve been using the SE and I bought just bought the 13 mini. I can’t wait for it to arrive
the last of the mini.. 13mini forever
I went from a 12 Pro to the 13 mini after I fumbled with the former due to its size and somehow smashed both front and back glass panel (I was very unlucky that it landed on a metal door stop).
Size wise it is perfect and although I miss the telephoto lens at times, I’m not that big of a photo taker anyway.
The only benefit I see from having no 14 or 15 mini is that my mind is so happy with this sized form factor, I will not care about “needing” to upgrade to the latest and greatest, no matter what apple throws 😂
Wtf lol algorithm working hard right now. I was just thinking about doing this! Awesome vid just subscribed
Thanks for watching!
I love my 12mini.. was devastated when they discontinued the smaller models. I will use it until the eventual folding iPhone comes out
Our 14 pro max (currently my mom's) had been working fine so far, no problems at all tho, my 13 does have some but they're not that bad also idk why the mini tho, my everyday phone is a 6.1 iPhone 13. And it has been great! Enough for most of my needs
I went from the 12 mini to 14 Pro. I miss being able to hold my iPhone without the hand cramps. The 14 Pro’s always on display is kind of nice, especially in my car where I have an older Bluetooth system. It’s nice having it mounted and being able to see what’s being played - not entirely needed, but nice to have.
I definitely miss the 12 mini, but with my eyesight getting worse, and having to deal with that battery in 64gb storage, I decided to upgrade to the 14 Pro. I also noticed my iPhone usage went way up too, not really my favorite habit. The bad battery life kept me off my phone except for things I needed it for. I wouldn’t mind trying the mini again, it wasn’t a big deal to adjust the font size before.
I figured I’d at least hold out until the iPhone 15 launches. Fingers crossed for a 15 mini, but I’m sure the 13 mini will still be an option on Apple’s refurbished page. I might just trade in the 14 Pro at that time.
I had both 14 pro max and Fold 4. Having to also carry my work iphone 12 it really makes my satchel feel like a brick. Went back to Apple and got the 13 mini and now I can go a full day without getting tired lol
Exactly my issues too, will soon move to mini.
I own a 14 pro Max and have used it as my daily driver for 3 months, I have had zero of those issues mentioned in the video, I love the phone because of the dynamic island and the massive battery life, I have really big hands so the screen is perfect, I own the Canadian version with the SIM card, I’m not sure if that effects the issues mentioned in the video, maybe it’s just a UK or USA version issue?
uk here , ive been using the max since christmas, never had any of the mentioned issues, btw i understand your pain with smaller phones
Funny I’m actually thinking the same. I use the 13 pro max but I want the mini. However I don’t want to get use to the mini if the mini is now discontinued so that sucks
It’ll still be supported for years to come. I bought this mini used for ~$250 off. I think it’ll still get 5-6 years of updates.
Great video! I have a iPhone 12, but I watch a lot of RUclips videos and post as well, will the display be something I can get used to?
I don’t disagree with you about the mini form factor though I been using a 14 pro max and loving it and haven’t faced any issue as u mentioned everything works Butterly smooth..
Glad it's working for you! No hate toward the Pro Max. Just wanted a phone where I would fully take advantage of what it offers and to minimize screen time for a healthier lifestyle.
I love the iPhone mini I have the red one I also have the red 13. Loved your video.
I am considering doing this so this is the perfect review for me
now thats crazy! Maybe make the voiceovers audio a bit higher good stuff
I have the 14 Pro Max and the 13 Mini. The Pro Max is great at home but the mini is my daily driver. If I had to choose between the two I would definitely go with the Mini. If they don't come out with another version of it sometime in the future I'll probably wind up back with Android.
There are reports of iPhone screens getting larger this year. I really hope they keep a mini size for those who want it.
I have a 13 mini and I have my complaints but overall I really like. It’s the perfect size for me. iOS though is really annoying me lately with the bugs and instability.
I hope apple will put the 13 mini body to the SE lineup, the mini is the best for me full day battery life with minimal use, small screen and great cameras.
Getting my first cell phone EVER! Was going to get the iphone 14, but I really don't like how big it is in my hand. Now this review has given my pause, since I'm not going to use my cell phone all that much, maybe the smaller iphone 12 mini would work better for me. I'll have to check with my friends who know more about these devices.
i have a mini along with my family of 4. Something nobody talks about is the horrendous keyboard feedback. You have to be precise with your touches or you can double press keys and it will register as a ghost press. Its my only con coming from a 12 pro max😢
It took some getting used to for me in the beginning but I find iOS keyboard to be very intelligent in “learning how you type” after a week or two. The Pro Max keyboard is absolutely incredible though and it is a big adjustment to switch from it to a mini.
My personal experience, the keyboard is still much better sized and with better predictions on the 13 mini than what was on its earlier predecessors like the 5S. Using 13 mini since last 15 days.
I just bought one yesterday and I love it so far!
Welcome to the club!
Incredible something like this gets 500k views. Congrats to you
I haven’t had any issues with my iphone 14 pro max as of yet. It works fine. But the keyboard is definitely a little off from my XS. It’s a bit sluggish and sometimes misses characters. But I travel quite often and the bigger battery is what keeps me stuck to the 14 pro max. Otherwise I love the 13 mini’s size.
I got the. 14 pro and honestly it's as close to edge as I think I'll accept. I don't want a larger screen I just don't. I've never understood the desire for a phablet. I think the iPhone 14 pro is the sweet spot for me and I hope Apple doesn't continue the trend of larger.
Let’s look at what iPhone 14 model was the most frequently purchased. Currently according to the latest sources it’s the base iPhone 14 that is sold the most in 2023, even more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, though that may change following the release of the next iPhone lineup. However in 2022 it was the 14 PM that was sold the most.
Love the mini. Tried the pro models and found i didn’t need what they offered. Difficult to carry in a pocket along with other “pluses” that turned out to be a marketing ploy. Long live the iPhone Mini.
Agreed. Only think I've missed is the quality of the cameras on the Pro lineup but that's obviously the headline feature of Pro models.
Ever since I always like a compact phone. I used to use android when they still have compact size phones. But when iPhone 13 mini came out I didn’t mind what features it has, it’s the size that attracted me.
Never had a single issue with my 14 Pro Max …. Came from an og SE and then an SE 2. It was fun to go big after trying my hardest to stay with a budget, mini phone. If you’re not a laptop or iPad owner, the big phone makes sense. If you have a mobile computing device that’s larger than a phone, go as small as you can while still being able to type comfortably.
I have the 11 Pro and looking to keep that small form factor. The 13 mini seems like the obvious upgrade for me.
Agreed. It'll be a massive upgrade from an 11. The only thing I miss coming from the Pro lineup is the camera quality - especially in low-light.
iPhone 11 Pro is 5.8", iPhone 14 Pro is 6.1", but 144 vs 147,5mm height, 71,4 vs 71,5mm widht and 8.1 vs 7,9mm depth. So 6,1" iPhone 14 Pro is only 3,5mm higher than 5.8" iP11 Pro.
Does that 3,5mm height really matter?
@@jirikocman does it matter? Probably not. But the 13 mini is most likely the last of its kind. I can always get a 13 pro or 14 pro though.
In my opinion I hate the battery of the iPhone 13 mini. I had it before my 14 pro max and I use my phone more than most people at work so the mini would always die on me so fast especially when I FaceTime so I mainly always had to have my phone on charge with the mini. My schedule is 10-8 when I am working so I need 10 hours almost so a pro max just fits my schedule better
I like your wallpaper on your 13 mini, do you mind if I ask where did you get it?
I bought the 12 mini after I got sick and tired of having the 11 pro which was very bulky heavy and hard to use with one hand. Loved the 12 mini and got the 13 mini when it came out and have been using it since. I'm going to continue to use it (and also replace battery at some point if needed) as long as iOS supports it, or until Apple decides to bring back the mini form factor in the SE or some other model. Apple really needs to bring back the mini at some point. Plus model is fine. But also bring back the mini Apple. Consumers want small phones too.
I'm looking forward to your long-term review of the Mini 13 in comparison to the 14 Pro Max. I'm struggling with the decision of what to upgrade to from my XS.
No matter what you choose, an upgrade from the XS will be massive. I just posted a battery life update on the mini.
A 12 pro or 13 pro would be good too if u want a smaller phone
@@MayankGupta-th3wt these are very heavy phones.
@@MayankGupta-th3wt 12/13 Pros are not smaller, I just upgraded from a XS to a 13 mini, the XS screen is 5.8 and the mini 5.4 and the pros are 6.1 and heavier
@@j-flashm297 They are smaller compared to other phones on the market which if u look is absolutely true.
I love my 13 Mini! I’m on the iPhone upgrade program and eligible for a new phone, but I don’t want to give up the compact form factor. Their announcement that they dropped the Mini sent me looking for comparable Android phones, but so far I haven’t found one. Would love to see a 15 Mini for sure.
It might be a IPhone SE4 might come out soon and it will be no IPhone 15 mini
I love mini. I love smaller size iPhones. Last year it was difficult to get the 13 mini and had to make do with the regular 13 which size wise, I hate it.
Crazy about my 13 mini in midnight blue. Gorgeous!
I switch between 3 iPhones. The 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. Some days small phone, medium phone or large phone.
I’ve owned just about every model and size iPhone ever since the first iPhone.
The 12 Mini and 13 Mini are my absolute favorites, I did purchase an iPhone 14 Plus just for the battery life but quickly got tired of the 14 Plus size even though I’ve owned MAX sizes in the past.
My 14 Plus is now just used as a camera while my much loved 13 Mini is my daily driver again.
I must admit to being totally pissed at at Apple for dropping the Mini series,, I would have loved a 14 Mini and a 15 Mini and so on,,,,
Apple “claims” the sales on the Mini were not that good but all I see online consistently is a lot of love for the Mini, I sure don’t see very much love for the 14 Plus.
Hey Apple, bring back the Mini, perhaps launch a 14 Mini mid cycle or bring the the Mini back in the 15 line up !!!!
I’m willing to bet the 13 Mini is outselling the 14 Plus by a huge margin, of course Apple would never admit to that.
Agreed re: 14 Plus outselling mini. I feel like they'll reintroduce a small form factor phone again. If not part of the flagship lineup then a significantly improved SE model. With the overwhelming positive reviews I can't see them dropping the form factor for good.
really need some feed back, i switched to verizon and got the iphone 14 pro for free with a trade in of my old galaxy s21, i love the camera, screen and battery life of the 14 pro but cant stand how heavy the phone is and the intrusive camera bump, i could trade it back and get the iphone 13 mini for free and still keep my galaxy s21, is the battery life and camera that much more noticeable from the 13 mini to the 14 pro? if i go with the 13 mini for free, i can keep my galaxy s21 as a backup, if i go with the 14 pro for free, i have to turn in my galaxy
love my iPhone mini13 will keep using this till next one coming out, probably cuz I really miss the iPhone4(one-hand held, compact and powerful), and don't wanna follow or buy the "PRO Series concept" that Apple has built for many years. And I love the question you mentioned in the video, what phone is enough and what do I need?
I did exactly the same. Changed from 14 pro max to 13 mini and I’m loving it
I hope for the return of the small king on the 15 series, although the chances are not good
I'm really surprised how many people did this exact move!
I just went from a 13 mini to a 14 plus. The 14+ is much lighter than the 14 pro. And while the phone is much larger than the mini, I really do like the extra battery life.
I currently have an iPhone 14+, but there are times I do miss the mini phone especially putting it in the pants pocket but the 14+ is a good phone no doubt about it. Especially if he wants a bigger battery. I guess they take from this is bigger, phone, bigger, battery smaller phone, smaller battery so of course it’s not gonna last as long, but maybe one day they’ll develop a battery that will be small and still carry the punch that the bigger bones have
I recently bought an iPhone 13 (non-Mini) and I love it. It's a gorgeous phone coming from budget phones I've used previously. The 13 Mini looks great, but my only concern was battery life so I got the bigger cousin.
I was so concerned about battery life. I'm really happy to report it's been amazing! I released another video last week specifically on battery life.
Waiting for that Pro Mini
I did the same thing about a month ago. Gave the 14 pro max to my fiance and got the 13 mini. I can't believe I used to carry around such a large phone... it feels huge to me now. The 13 mini does everything I need it to do. Yah it's missing some of the bells and whistles of the 14 pro max but after a couple days you completely forget about those things anyways.
iPhone 13 mini- simply the best!!!
Better than all the rest.
If Apple could fix the battery life of mini series then there would suddenly be a lot of takers for same.
I agree. It’s the one “downside” for a lot of people. I’m glad it’s not as much of a problem as others make it out to be though. You definitely use a large percentage of the battery but it doesn’t die half way through the day for me (see latest battery life video).
I can’t say the iPhone 13 mini has any battery issues for me. Easily lasts me through the day without any issues with music streaming basically all day.
Hey love the wallpaper on the 13 mini where did you get it
I have the 13 mini and 13 pro max. Hands down I love my mini. I just wish it had the telephoto lens instead of the ultra wide. 120hz is nice as well but can live with out.
Just imagine an iPhone 15 mini pro 😮
My “Dream”: A iPhone15 mini pro 😅
I second this
I third this.
I got the 13 Mini when it came out. No regrets. It’s been rock solid. The other models are just TOO big to haul around.
Just purchased the 13 mini from music magpie in the UK in almost perfect condition,I have only use of one arm so it made perfect sense I've had it 3 weeks can't fault it
Me too
The battery on the mini is not bad. I’m a decent power user, though I don’t consume much content on my phone (I have computers, TVs, and tablets for that), and I am only around 40-50% by end of day, which runs 4am to 9pm. I have a MagSafe battery if I’m in the 30’s and leaving the house at night. I keep swapping between the 13 mini and Fold 4 from Samsung, primarily because US adoption of iOS makes it hard to communicate with family when not on an iPhone. That said, the 13 mini blows the battery on the Fold 4 out of the water.
I need more phones with a small form factor (13 mini, Zenphone 9, Fold 4). I have to praise the foldable form though for helping bridge the gap those rare times when I need something larger.
It’s true. Battery life on mini is way better than fold and flip series.
This comment really helped me in my debate of switching to 13mini from what I'm currently using now the flip3. I was searching for a review of the batteries between the 2 phones. Although I have the flip 3, and your comparison is the flip 4, it really helps. I love love my flip 3 as well but I think I'll be going back to iphone 13mini, minis are my ultimate fave.
@@karlaferrater2778 I was comparing to a fold 4, not a flip, but yeah. It still ultimately will depend on what you do and what tweaks you make. Out the box without making tweaks, the 13m is still leaps and bounds better. Usually by noon (so 6-8 hours into my day) the 13m is around 75% and the fold is closer to 50%, similar usage, though I run the fold in light performance mode and have a ton of tweaks to prolong the battery
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini.
Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible.
It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
I had a 12 pro max when iPhone 13 mini was announced. I switched to the 13 mini because I never used any of the “pro“ features. Cameras were nice but I didn’t take many to justify it. For 11 months I daily drove the 13 mini. I found out it preferred just as well as my 12 promax did. it handled anything I threw at it. Eventually I ended up getting the 14 pro max just because I needed a bigger battery. The 13 mini was fine when I would sit on my desk most days charging while I was doing online classes but it struggled when I went to campus Where the reception wasn’t ideal. If the day ever comes were Apple decides to release another mini phone I would get it hands-down. I’d probably also pick up a battery pack.
I’m switching from the 13 pro max to the Galaxy S23(small)
It looks incredible! What color?
@@VittorTech the cream in 256gb! I’m trying to get it now when the deals are available, but I don’t have a job and I want to spend my money off my Best Buy gift card for a S23 & I’m so afraid my mom is gonna say no
@@suprxmefire9497 200Mp camera go Brrrr
Why don't people who complain about the mini's battery life just get a magsafe battery? I did and problem solved. The combo looks terrific as well!
The MagSafe battery pack is what made me comfortable making the leap to mini. I figured IF it was bad enough the battery pack would be the solution. Though I was pleasantly surprised that the battery lasted pretty much all day.
my days starts at 4:30am and ends around 9 pm.. i plug my mini into my powerbank at work for 1hour around 12-1pm and that gets me through the rest of the day.. i mean im working anyways so if i have the phone in my pocket or charging for an hour doesnt make no kind of difference to me
A mini and a battery back is about as cumbersome as having a large phone with no benefit for media viewing. That said, the mini battery was fine for me. 😊
Because of people like you that Apple is like that.
Ooh your phone has not enough battery, here you are a 80$ magsafe battery.
@@invinsible1987 to be fair, the mini’s size was the limiting factor, and iPhones battery life has been improving. Your proposed scenario would be rather shortsighted, Apple knows people love good battery life and wouldn’t risk the sale by releasing phones with intentionally poor battery life
Your wallpaper looks so clean where can i save it?
Thanks! Links added to the description!
I went from 14 pro back 13 mini and never had problems with the 14. I'm just a fan of small and portable phones. I even have a Unihertz Jelly 2 with a 3 inch screen for my second line.
Iphone 13 mini is the best
A major down grade 😢
Love my 13 mini. Wouldn't change it for anything else. Fingers cross the future will include a newer version.
