Spent many hours and years studying the economy from past to present. And I remember reading a book where the person mentioned that if you ever see a past Federal Reserve Chairman become the United States Secretary of the Treasury, which Janet Yellen is, then you know serious economic troubles are coming.

You need a certified financial planner straight up! personally, I would invest in etf and also love investing in individual stocks. yes it’s riskier but am comfortable in my financial environment

We're seeing high inflation continue because some people wanted minimum wages to be doubled. Fuel prices of skyrocketed because we shut off the oil supply capacity in the US.

Under trump I my utilities was easily paid and I had money for groceries. Now I don’t eat because utilities all of a sudden doubled or tripled even though I use less of everything trying to keep the costs down. It’s still crazy expensive. I don’t even put the heater on or use lights at night. I eat food one meal every other day.

Deficit spending is by far the largest driver of inflation. It has the exact same effect as counterfeiting. The effect of Fed rates don't compare. We're running a two trillion deficit now that will have to be covered by bonds, born into existence devoid of products or services.

You need to listen to some Milton Friedman. Inflation is not caused by the greed of corporations, they have been greedy before, during, and after this rise of inflation. The inflation is caused only by the printing of money.
