CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Amir (Zekeria Ebrahimi) tells his story ideas to his friend Hassan (Ahmad Khan Mahmoodzada).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Finding Neverland director Marc Forster adapts author Khaled Hosseini's critically acclaimed novel about two childhood best friends forever torn apart as their country is ravaged by endless war and bitter strife. As children, Amir (Khalid Abdalla) and Hassan were inseparable; their long days under azure Kabul skies often spent getting into innocent mischief or preparing for the highly anticipated kite-fighting tournament. When the day of the tournament arrives, however, a glorious victory is quickly offset by a timorous act of betrayal that ultimately serves as the catalyst for catastrophe. Not long after that fateful day, Amir moves away to America, leaving his old friend behind just as the ominous specter of war turns tragically tangible. Two decades later, Amir returns to Afghanistan to find his beloved homeland has now fallen under the iron-fisted rule of the Taliban. Still, all hope for redemption hasn't been lost just yet, because now that Amir stands face to face with the irrepressible secrets that he struggled so vigilantly to bury, he will receive one last chance to make peace with the past, and lay the groundwork for a brighter future.

hassan is so intelligent and it’s so sad that he believed he wasn’t just because he unfortunately wasn’t given the right and privilege to be able to go to school and learn how to read and write
Really intelligent people never believe they are very intelligent and clever.
That breaks my heart while reading the book
Hassan. Hard not to love him.
impossible
So loyal, so faithful, would rather eat dirt than tell a lie

Always referring to Amir as dear. The whole family did. Is that tradition in the East? I loved this movie so much. I like the actor who played Baba-jan. I felt like his portrayal was so good that it was one that should have been nominated for an Academy Award and wasn't. He played a fair man, who was tough, yet tender. I love the film. The man who played Baba friend was excellent in that role. "It the chance to be good again." Love that line and his delivery was convincing and remarkable acting.
" for you, a thousand times over "
That single line holds a thousand emotions. That line is so powerful in the whole book.
That makes me cry everytime😢
The actor who played Hassan is great in this scene! The depth he has when listening to Amir and his reaction is so detailed but powerful! Bravo indeed!
Exactly he is the same Hassan I imagined while reading the book
This kid Hassaan looks like my son(a little bit😊).I read the book and crying my heart's out thinking that Hassan(the boy actor). It's a superb performance.
Amir was creative while Hassan was clever.
Which makes both clever
The book.....my stepmum told me how good it was......and I didn't realise quite how excellent it was until reading it personally...have a few pages left to go...it is beautifully written, the story painful and deeply poignant. Great writing.
which book ?
A B bassam
The kite runner...what else ;)
I was talking to my girlfriend as we watched this movie and realized that this scene alone shows you the difference of thinking as well as their lifestyles at this age. Hassan is a simple boy with simple yet logical solutions. Amir has been spoiled his whole life and hasn't had any real struggles nor would he being who he is.
Until he immigrated to America, then he would be faced with challenges that he would have never encountered in Afghanistan if not for the Saur Revolution and Soviet occupation. For the Afghans that made it to America and Europe shortly after the Soviets took over, they belonged to the former upper class/elites. It was traumatic for them, for the first time in their lives, they struggled like the Hazara servants they abused.
I recommend reading the book too
@@readwithelahe so you saw the movie right? Is it good to watch with ur whole family like is there any thing even if it’s only a kiss is it family friendly?
@@maria_alnasri hi dear. There was a graceful kiss on the cheek in the wedding scene 😅
@@readwithelahe thank u🫶🏼
His father was so selfish to let Hassan work as a servant for Amir, I'm so pissed that pure characters like Hassan and his son went through all of this trauma, it's so unfair.
And yet one can only show his purity going through an ordeal and retaining it... it's hard to wrap a hand around it but most of us leave virtue the very moment it becomes difficult to live it. And yes, it's very sad that evil often lashes out on innocent and kind...sad to the bone.
Most hazaras went through a life of pain
If Baba treat Hassan too well, people will talk and damage his reputation. as mentioned in the book that Hassan’s mom is a seductively beautiful woman, ppl can guess Hassan was Baba’s son and it was a disgrace to have an affair especially sleeping with servant’s wife.
Have you read the book too?

One way to fix the onion plot hole is to say the tears has to be of genuine love(don't have to kill). Regular tears will not work.
and instead Amir said in his mind : "What does he know? that illiterate hazara!" (not exactly)
@@ShaneHidalgo He did not say that, I mean, It was just a voice in his head misguiding him, he ignored it.
it's mentioned in the book@@Akhter00
well said! i cried like hell reading this story
Yes but the story is a bit different in book
Hassan deserved so much better😭🥺😢
Yes 😪
why is hassan so cute? 😭.
I know right
Hassan is such a good actor
Amir: and I took that personally
Hassan is probably the most sweet kid I have ever seen
Yes specially if you read the book
What magnificent writing and literature. I've read this book this past summer, and damn it was fantastic!
Anyway, always, the book is much more better than movie. What a great story. Before reading the book, of course I have heard about Afganistan, but I know a little. After reading it, I reveal a new Afganistan for me. There are ao many words, fruits and traditions that my nation and language has too. Big thank to the author of the book.💛 And I am definetly going to read the other books of Khaled Hoseyn. Greetings from Armenia.
The book was recommended by a friend, he said it is a good book. I started appreating only when I started turning some pages. This particular scene in book, I made my friends and family to read.
Too much foreign words in the book, should have at least put ( ) in it
Hassan doesn't have Green eyes in the movie
*That loyal little intelligent boy*
Its been years since i read and watched this movie. It still hurts
Great casting!, memorable film. & characters.
What a magnificent writing and literature. I read this book this summer and it was damn fantastic.its hard not to love Hassan. It explains to you Amir and Hassan they have the same dignity despite the differences in status.
Same I loved it even though it made me cry like crazy
i dont speak dari farsi, i speak iranian farsi but i understood all of what they said, only a few words i didnt understand.
Serf lahje farq mekona zaban Afghanistan ,Iran,ve Tajikistan Farsi ast
tamem nesar baaleh...khelli baaleh....
Which one do you mean? It is the same language.
Perhaps you didn’t understand due to the different accent. Farsi is Farsi no matter which country it’s spoken from.
The more I read it, the more I feel pity for Hassan..
I love these story very much because these is true.😍😍😍
I remember I was so proud first time seeing an afghan girl directing and producing a movie on international level 👏🏻
Mrs. Sahra Mani is so talented and I think every afghan is proud of her 🇦🇫❤️🌹
And so, little Amir understood what satire meant...
Hassan the best
I didn't watch the movie, only watched in my imagination by reading the book.
О мой Хасан 😢😢😢😢
Как мне больно за него 😢
I cried a river
What a wonderful and beautiful movie
I recommend reading the book too
any one can identity the symbol of onion smelling for tears, changing into pearls instead of killing.....these kinds of the hind symbols make the story realistic and interesting. one of the best movie .....2nd clip of the movie.
This is my history of my life
I am hazara
And i am a pashtun. Probably only reason why i love this story
Love Hazara
I hope you are doing okay now
agha = father, if a son call his father.
but in other case we use it as respect like Sir.
Love this part:)))
hahahha loved this part. i laughed so hard while reading this part XD
If he smells an onion those tears don't have emotions
Kayla Leave good point

In the book story is told differently. Book version is better

It’s not just the awfulness of what happens to Hassan. It’s the dignity of the boy playing him, which put a face on the way I pictured him from the book.
Ah, Hassan.. that’s muh boi ✊😌
The sweetest
Hassan’s meaty round face is super cuteeeee
Как называется?
Isn't this movie available in english??
Hasan🥺🥺
what does agha mean?
R Ree like brother ?
Sir
R Ree it means father but in respect it's called sir or boss
Agha = sir it shows respect and politeness

The Kite Runner, this American movie is about Afghanistan. Americans dare not go to Afghanistan but come to Xinjiang to film the scene. They also make up lies about Xinjiang. These Western liars are really pitiful.😅😅😅
What did you expect? Would you go there now?
