@GhostDraggon_ back when I played FFRK, we had multiple Limit Breaks that could minus-2 or 1 the "resistance level" of elements, so even if a boss "resisted" something it was usually possible to win with that element anyway. We dubbed this effect "Imperil." And in HSR, using Silver Wolf + some sort of RES PEN support would almost be the same net effect.
@GhostDraggon_ and what _that_ game did to stop us from doing that was basically increase endgame resistance to non-weaknesses to the point where it was unfeasible
tbf for these lower skill/investment players, the game doesn't really teach you the types of comps, and this fight does specifically say "hit as many dice as you can or die" which means to them "run aoe or shield/heal up". probably why there's so many himekos/hertas.
Yea I cleared this boss with herta on my underlevelled account. Honestly in story you can clear with literally any dps you want even with low-mid investment since damage doesn't matter. The main thing is to build your sustain enough to keep your team alive, and level your characters and lcs so that you don't get one shotted
For Team 4 - the Herta Bailu Gepard Misha one - based on the screenshot and post text, the other 4 teams were the issue, and this 5th team was finally able to clear. Misha and Herta both do well against the dice mechanic for bonus Ultimates.
@@Kitlyn6643 Getting through Aventurine's dice gamble without getting CC'ed is half the battle won since that reduces the strain on your sustain (in addition to getting a free Ult) and Herta can 100% clear the dice gamble every single time as long as you can spare the SP for her skill. waveman's takes aren't wrong for the most part but he's also operating more on MoC logic where you want to be extremely efficient with the team you run however overworld boss battles are less about that which enables non-traditional team comps to work, perhaps even more efficiently or safely than a typical MoC comp.
@@spikkiy im only saying she doesnt provide anything for the team, you spend 1 sp to save her life and that's it, aventurine is one of the boss that doesnt let her do fua aside from when he's below 50% which make this a very bad fight to take her in, so if you cleared with herta, congrats, but my point still stands
Wait Serval is one of the best units for this fight though, because of the dice mechanic you should bring more AOE characters, so you can actually come out on top, and i think the Acheron+ Misha user used Misha because Misha's Freeze is a debuff, super ineficient obviously though.
serval's single target damage is very poor and she takes forever to clear this boss. single target/blast will still be better as long as you save ultimates. misha only freezes on ult and which is not being supported at all to happen frequently enough. acheron will ult every two years.
@@waveman047 Didn't think about the fact Misha's freeze is on Ult, and while I agree that it's better having good single target and having an AoE Ult, this fight is probably more easily done using an team composed of mostly blast/AoE units, so you can only ignore CC. Depending on the team it does take a while, COF COF triple sustain(March 7th, Fire Trailblazer and Bailu) + Herta, it certainly isn't what I used to beat it, and it certainly didn't take 30-50 minutes...

Exactly this. Aventurine is specifically designed to screw over standard harmony hypercarry comps and instead rewards the nihility supports for being AoE. The only things that matter are bringing both your sustains and that your kther two characters can win the dice game.

Pre-nerf, I beat him after many tries. What was key for me was being able to trigger 3/4 wins on the bet using aoe. I tried to use Clara, Bailu and Preservation TB, but what finally made it a success was swapping TB for March, because March's skill enables Clara to proc counter more frequently. Too bad this boss isn't an Echo of War :(
"Silverwolf is actually good here, cuz yknow, single target" Man you really did not remember how this boss works huh. That is also true for many of your other comments through the video. Bro my 9 year old cousin beat Aventurine with Tingyun Lynx Argenti and Sparkle pre-nerf; how do these tiktokers lose???
I used only fuxuan and boothill💀
Is that how much they nerfeed him
I think Misha has a def shred and he can freeze on his ult ? He's not the worst for Acheron I guess, but Jing Yuan makes no sense lol
Im embarresed now cause I used serval, march, ruan Mei and aventurine all level 50 and only aventurine having a level 50 lightcone 😭
Why do none of the teams have 5* supports but 5* dps 💀
Because people only pull for dps and neglect their support lol
@@irena4929 personally:
mid dps with great support is a great team
good dps with mid support is a mid team
theres a reason there are arlan moc 12 clears but no dhil no support clears
People think hsr is genshin and want to have 3 dps on the same team
but what if my luck with trying to get five star supports is just dogshit
@@exoticbutters1760 doesn’t mean it’s impossible to make a good team
There’s lots of alternative 4 stars if you don’t end up getting that one 5 star
For example pela is a really good ruan mei alternative
If you don’t end up getting that one 5 star you wanted, as long as you know how to build teams correctly then you can get by clearing endgame with 4 stars
Of course the 4 star won’t be as strong as the 5 star but if you know how to use them correctly then it can pay off
I jus put pretty people in my team 😢
Yes, go to war
Aventurine is a single-target fight? How the heck are you going to survive the multi-dice part? Each character individually needs a super-single target (Bounce, Blast, or AoE) attack.
Playable Aventurine can face-tank it. I guess you’re using units that have a super-single Ultimate, with a single-target Skill and/or decently strong Basic.
