- This video is not about my pride of perfecting this level, it's about giving the comfort to our great sadness of a man, who pioneered & cherished Nintendo & this industry for at least 20 years, is now departed from this world.
No physical gift that I can bring, but only this form. I'll be playing this perfect run, a commemoration gift, for him. Spread this video with love to all, borrow if you must.

NOTE: It's been 3-4 years since my last Catharsis run, my how the times gone by. Sorry for the delay, been sick for a while. It's Really Hard, about 100 takes or more, and it does test my calmness.
This will be the last Catharsis Run. Of course, there still more levels needed to post because of 60 Frames/S feature.

This series is criminally underrated.
Soooo...in the final level you have to lose. Then you start back at Beat.
That's the perfect ending to the deepest game series I've ever played.

Wow Swan, I usually avoided your Bit.Trip videos for the sole purpose I listen to them for the music, but since you finally got your hands on a capture card, the quality of your videos has surpassed everyone's expectations! Awesome job on the perfect run!
God I can't express how amazing this game is, so simplistic, but the music, art, and general color palette is just what makes this game so amazing! I wish they gave more than Runner love, I would love to see another storyline for CommanderVideo!
well there's a fan game called BIT.TRIP LEGACY that's in development (with Alex Neuse's blessing, I may add)
Since I first started playing this game, I can't stop. Every time I think about it, I HAVE to play it. It's just so stunningly beautiful and gorgeous. It's a real shame there's so many problems with the PC version, but I've only encountered one or two of them, so it's not all bad.
Great job on this, I'm really wanting to eventually perfect this game.
The biggest issue I have with the PC version is that I can't beat the first boss because it moves is so perfectly that it doesn't miss.
A beautiful series comes to a beautiful end with a beautiful game.
Even if the series goes on making fun Runner sequels. I mean, they've already got Runner 3 planned.

I love the BIT.TRIP series. Catharsis is my all time favorite level in the franchise. Despite its difficulty, it was actually my first "PERFECT!" run. I also LOVE the music in the 7th segment of Catharsis. The 7th segment music starts on 14:51.
I always watch this so it can make me feel better about myself and help me calm down.

its so much easier. i also beat flux with a wii mote witch i could not on beat , i couldnt even beat it on 3ds with a stylus the fucking boss is stupid
