i bought this camera over the 2016 holidays... i got it for 82.00 best buy has it for 99.00 and the price comparison from bhvideo had a lower price.. the film was on sale during the holiday pack of 20 for 14.99... now im not a hipster, im an 40 something yr old guy... i grew in the 70s and 80s when Polariods were the IN cameras. this was fun for our Christmas party. i took pictures of out guest. gave them a copy and kept some for myself. No its not a professional camera... its just a point n shoot fun camera to take pics with at get together. its alot cheapier than buying film for my old 1981 Polaroid from the Impossible Film company which half of the time the photo didn't come out. only down fall that I wish they made a carrying case for it like they do the Mini. i just used a old camera bag I had for my video camera that fit nicely and was able to put extra film cartridges inside.
i go the instax wide 210 but the flash does not turn off, even when i manually select it to be off. does the flash work properly on the 300 or do you have the same problem?

These two cameras only have an automatic flash or a flash on options 🤷♂️
For selfies you’ve gotta attach the close up attachment... it’ll be in focus then... I read about it on a blog post...
Nice vid. Buy the film in bulk - gets waaaaay cheaper. If you buy 5x20 (100 exposures) it's only 75 cents per.
I got mine for $126 and it came with 3 packs of film which totaled out to 60 shots

I don't know if I should get the instax mini 9 or wide 300,
the instax mini 9 because it's cheaper and shops near me sell the mini film however the wide pictures on the instax wide 300 has me sold but I would have to order to get more films , idk which one
wide wide wide. better camera takes better pictures and you have a little bit more control over the settings
Aidan Shmaden would you say it's good to take traveling with and taking amazing pictures and I'm kinda scared that instax will stop selling the wide film because they only make mini cameras now

The lack of a self timer is the worst thing about it ... live the camera and pix, but all cameras need a self timer!!!

This has it's uses like recruiting, but not for regular consumer use
I don't like the quality of the actual camera but Fuji have out done Polaroid as far as the Wide 300 goes. At the end of the day the quality of the instant photos you end up is all that matters, the pictures ejected by the Instax are the best ever. If only Fuji made something a bit more like the Polaroid SX70 in terms of sophistication and build quality I would be in heaven, a world first where the recreated newcomer is superior to the iconic machine. Unlike the case with a 1982 Commodore 64 vs 2018 Commodore 64 mini rubbish :o)
failed channel Polaroid film was better than Fuji Instax film but that was POLAROID film. Not Polaroid Originals film.
Does anyone know if it can take vertical pics? And also, what's better: the 120 wide or the 300 wide??

They are the exact same cameras. And with film you can take pictures in whatever orientation you want.

For me, it's useful because my computers crash often (not sure why, but I end up with a new one almost every year) and I don't want to lose my photos. Also, I HATE taking my camera to Rite Aid to have them printed. It's pure practicality for me.
