- I joined my friend and great photographer Yoel Garcia for another street photography walk. This time Yoel tried the Fuji Intax Wide 300 and shot one pack of film. This was great to see how much can we can improve our composition by using lines, shapes, textures and shadows when creating a frame. Hope you enjoy the video.

The composition of his work is amazing.
OMG This is great street photography lesson for me. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Wish you a great shooting
i agree with the best photo selection. the precision of the eye placement with the reflection is amazing.
How did you guys learn how to frame photos so well? Like, the compositions of them are so good! I just got a Wide 300, and I’d love to be able to practice getting photo compositions like that!
Hi! That’s a big topic to answer in one go, but here a tip. Try to look at a scene in layers. Find some harmony between foreground and background, that can be geometric lines or shapes, or it can be colours. Once you get some balance and harmony between foreground and background, try to include a human figure in the frame. Frame your composition and wait someone to pass a specific spot. Then keeping practicing as much as possible. You will master it faster than you think 👍
Thanks dude, I hwas checking for buy an instax and the photos are really good! :)
Thank you!!
Adoro os seus vídeos e o quão fácil é entender o seu inglês.
Entrei nessa de fotografia analógica com a porta de entrada: instax mini. Me apaixonei.
Great photos!
Thanks so much!
mad talent! great videos!
Thank you! Appreciate that!
@@DiegoFabro gonna take my instax to walk around tomorrow haha
Cool instax wide 300. I wished all the fujifilm instant camera would have a large lens, selfie mode,a timer, collourful films,a case for you,re camera, films and batteries and all of the instant camera,s should be on batteries if you ask me. I don,t like rechargeble batteries 😊✌🏾👍🏾👋🏾 i love you,re friend pictures
Thanks so much! Yoel has a pretty unique style
how do you turn the analogue photos into digital nice video btw!!
What an awesome video! By any chance, for your previous instax photos, did you intentionally add some grains post-scanning or press the under-exposure button? I saw way too many grains in your previous photos. I thought it was due to lack of light. On the other hand, in this video, I see the weather is much more cloudy than your previous videos, and yet it has way less grains and the image looks clean! What's going on?
Thanks! No added grain. Maybe just dark scans that a brightened a bit? Not sure to be honest, would have to go back and compare them all. Short answer, no grain added or seen in any of the Instax photos
I just got mine for my birthday and I was wondering if you could simply explain what settings I should have it on in certain light. For sunny days, does the dark setting work best? I’m finding my photos are turning out REALLY dark and am starting to panic a bit. I see it’s normal for them to be dark but advice would be so helpful! ♥️♥️♥️ I love your videos and photography, stunning!!
Hi! The best time to use the camera is at sunset or sunrise. The contrast, hues and saturations are amazing. I don’t use use brighten darken mode at those times. For overcast I like to select brighten mode. When I use flash I also use brighten mode. For contrast scenes it’s too difficult to know what you’re gonna get. In general I like the images quite dark so I love the camera. The new Polaroid tends to be too bright for my taste, that loses saturation and make the images too washed. It’s all matter of taste. Thanks for your comment, just keep experimenting👍
if the light source is behind the subject (eg people in front of a sunset) you need bright setting (if you dont want the subject to be dark at least) and vice versa
How do you scan them
can we choose which photos to print on Fuji instax wide 300
Not with this camera. Thanks for watching!
Which mode you recommend shooting with or when?
Darken mode for me as I like dark images, but I leave on standard mode most of the time
how is there no flash mark on those glass shots?
No flash was fired on the man with mustache pic. No sure if that’s the one you’re referring to?
@@DiegoFabromay I ask how the “no flash” was accomplished since it was outdoors? I’m thinking about getting this camera and your videos have been so insightful. Thank you !
Thanks! The camera chooses when the flash fires. If it thinks it's dark the flash will fire. Usually day time outdoors the flash won't fire.
Can the photos be transferred to my cell phone?
Have you ever tried Lomo’Instant Wide? Wonder how much the IQ differs..
Unfortunately not, but it m very eager to try🙌
@@DiegoFabro Just got mine today. Definitely give it a go
The photos look better when you show them with video. Why do they look washed out when you show the still picture by itself?
The video is shot with a GoPro camera which is very saturared and contrasty, while the photos from the Instax are analogue photos, so they produce very different imagery. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, but I'm here if you need👋
It’s so crazy it’s almost like you should get someone’s consent before taking their photo 🤔
Street photography:)
@@DiegoFabro I don’t care if it’s street photography consent it mandatory, there’s a difference between have someone in the back ground or completely unidentifiable but if you’re taking a photo of one specific person that’s not street photography that taking a photo of someone without their consent and there’s a big difference
