I joined my friend and great photographer Yoel Garcia for another street photography walk. This time Yoel tried the Fuji Intax Wide 300 and shot one pack of film. This was great to see how much can we can improve our composition by using lines, shapes, textures and shadows when creating a frame. Hope you enjoy the video. this is so gorgeous made 😍 ...and i am asking myself, if everybody approved to be on the internet 😅🤐😶🌫
Thanks so much!🙌
This video is so artistic well made and just 30 likes? oh my, we have to change that!
Thanks! Appreciate that a lot!
really nice work! very inspiring <3
Thank you so much!
Even your "bad" shots in your opinion were good shots to me. I'm taking my Fuji X30 and Link Wide printer with me to a wedding and shooting only black and white JPEGs.
Thanks! That sound cool! Hope that went well🙌
@@DiegoFabro it went well. I ended up buying a Lomo Instant Wide for a great deal on ebay. Excited to get it.
Nice work
Thanks so much!
Thank you for brilliant insight. Like your blog a lot!
Appreciate that!🙌
Hi Diego but the dinamic range of black frame is different than the white frame, right? it looks not so dark .. let me know please if you agree. Best, Stefano
nice shot, is the pic on 4:10 whit flash?
What about the Polaroid I-2? Maybe you can get better results due to all the manual controls that the camera has
whats the lens that you have used
Fuji GF32-64mm
can we choose which photos to print on Fuji instax wide 300
Not with this camera. Thanks for watching!
me sentindo bem inspirado por esses vídeos com essa camera. tive a sorte de achar no brasil o filme preto e branco e um amigo ta trazendo de ny o colorido com bordas pretas. ansioso demais pra testar tudo e ver os resultados
Thanks Guilherme! These are great films to shoot! You’ll love it!
Bro I buy a new polaroid cam ... do you have a chat group for learners ?
Thanks so much for watching the videos! At the moment I don’t have a group chat. Enjoy the camera🙌
how do you turn the analogue photos into digital nice video btw!!
You must be zone focusing the whole time -- f8 or higher? Nice.
Auto focus f11 mostly🙌
Nice! I have the Mamiya 7II and the GFX 50R. Do you plan to use the Mamiya lenses on your GFX?
Thanks! Im pretty happy with the GF 33-64 for the Fuji, which gives me everything I’m looking for, but maybe at some point🙌
Have you ever tried Lomo’Instant Wide? Wonder how much the IQ differs..
Unfortunately not, but it m very eager to try🙌
@@DiegoFabro Just got mine today. Definitely give it a go
this is amazinngg!
Thanks so much🙌
Hi, great video thank you ! I have one role of HP3 myself but in 135 and expired since 1965, do you think I shall expose it at 25 ISO or 12 ? or maybe even 50 ? I have no idea about how it was stored, I assume it was at room temperature...
How do you videotape and at the same time do your shooting?
are you shooting on manual here?
Ohh I love the golden hour lighting! Sorry, did you cover the flash in any of these photos?
Thanks! I didn't cover the flash as far as I can remember
How do you scan them
It’s so crazy it’s almost like you should get someone’s consent before taking their photo 🤔
Street photography:)
@@DiegoFabro I don’t care if it’s street photography consent it mandatory, there’s a difference between have someone in the back ground or completely unidentifiable but if you’re taking a photo of one specific person that’s not street photography that taking a photo of someone without their consent and there’s a big difference
I will take one on my road trip to take extra pictures for arty things!
I have heard that they would release wide 400 this year. Is that true?
I have heard that they would release wide 400 this year. Is that true?
Loving the videos and photos! I picked up an Instax Wide 300 on a whim a few days ago and I am smitten by this camera. I really hope FUJIFILM releases another Wide format camera, and when it does, it’s a day one purchase for me.
i agree with the best photo selection. the precision of the eye placement with the reflection is amazing.
Does anybody tell you to stop taking pics of them?
No
Does it store picture and could be transferred to phone without making a film out of it?... Really curious
I have the same doubt. Nobody does it in any video.
The instax wide 300 doesn’t work with an app. Every time you press the shutter the picture gets printed. Look for Instax Mini Evo, which only prints what you want and it works with your phone and a bunch of other cool functions.

What’s the song at the beginning?
nice work. thanks for sharing and being so open and honest about how you feel.
Thanks John!
👏
Really cool picture. Would love to know more about your setting to get hard shadows as you do. Do you shoot manual?
Thanks! Always manual, expose for the highlights, never shadow or average metering. That’s my personal preference.
Ameii to doida pra comprar essa tb
Não vai se arrepender👌
I just shot 2 rolls of b&w film that expired 67 years ago. I shot it anywhere from 1 to 7 stops overexposed and all the shots came out quite well. When it comes to slide film, I don't buy into the idea that you have to really hit the exposure just right. I've been shooting Velvia in a pinhole camera and the images are all excellent despite very imprecise exposure times.
Very interesting! I was given a bunch of expired slide film, which I wasn’t too keen to use, but after your comment will go ahead and shoot them👍
Excellent footage that fits the poem well. I enjoyed it! I like the wide angle lens for this around 1:40, really gives this feeling of trying to have it all (see it all) but inevitably falling short->stress. The flashing stills montage after that fits pretty well too! I like this recurring beat of you can't have it all, and the way the other lines tie it together in rhythm. Nice! This reminds me of a quote I read of a Tibetan lama receiving some "grand-students," who had asked what to bring him. He said: "Don’t ask me what I want-my desire has no limit-I want everything. Just keep coming to visit me." --Kyabjé Kunzang Dorje Rinpoche
Thanks for your thoughts and the passage. That’s well appreciated🙌
The Instax Wide 300 is a great camera! Instax film is awesome!!
Muito massa!!!
Muito obrigado 😊
Cara, teus vídeos são muito bons e seu olhar fotográfico tb!
Grato pelo comentário. Boas fotos aí 👍
This is brilliant. I really love the live example with the voiceover.
Thanks, really appreciate that!
Please do more review on instax wide300!
Will do!!👍
What an awesome video! By any chance, for your previous instax photos, did you intentionally add some grains post-scanning or press the under-exposure button? I saw way too many grains in your previous photos. I thought it was due to lack of light. On the other hand, in this video, I see the weather is much more cloudy than your previous videos, and yet it has way less grains and the image looks clean! What's going on?
Thanks! No added grain. Maybe just dark scans that a brightened a bit? Not sure to be honest, would have to go back and compare them all. Short answer, no grain added or seen in any of the Instax photos
How about the polaroid now ( non +) ?
They are similar, but NOW + has the app, which can be really helpful, specially for long exposures
It's a great camera (have it myself). You don't get the app but I never missed it tbh, what I like about polaroid photography is the "no do overs" and "you get what you get" and the now take some great pics w a more 70s vibe :)) the film is EXPENSIVE so see if you can get some expired film to make it cheaper. See, it can affect the quality but not in a bad way for me I just got more personality to the pics :) just a lil tip
Which mode you recommend shooting with or when?
Darken mode for me as I like dark images, but I leave on standard mode most of the time
How about GFX 100S II ? What kind a lens use these shots? Thanks
I used the GF 32-34mm. GFX 100S ll is a great improvement all around. I want it, but don’t need right now. The video improvement makes it a dream Hybrid camera. And, yes, I would shoot street photography with it
Hi Diego! I just got the Instax Wide 300 recently and I wanted to ask how do you scan the film after it’s developed? Thx for the videos and tips
Hi Reinaldo! I used to scan with the Epson V700. Recently I'm just shooting with a digital camera. You just need 2 side light (30 to 45 degree angle to the print), one on each side. Flash or continuos light is fine. One light source, even natural light works, depending on the angle.
good photos!
Thanks 🙏! Appreciate that
