hey just a tip. if you keep pressing the button with which you take the photo, film won't come out until you remove the finger. so you can take a shot, keep the finger there, walk away, and let it eject after the person you took a shot off isn't watching you :)

Apparently the Polaroid now (non plus version) does a better job
@@CorvusHyperionthis is not true, the shutter speed and aperture setting are available and can be adjusted, if you are overexposing photos, adjust to fix

Why do I love the effect it has so much? It's so vintage and unique! (But I'm a newbie)
I like the Polaroid now plus when shooting portraits close to camera with flash. Any natural light shooting does nothing for me. Instax wide is way nicer
To fully disable flash, you need to press the flash button twice :)

What about the Polaroid I-2? Maybe you can get better results due to all the manual controls that the camera has
Question, when you hold the flash button and the lines come up on the display where the number of Polaroid you have left. What does the mean etc you have a bottom line a middle line and a top line? I always thought this was a glitch 😅…
Hi James! That's the EV mode. Line on top set the exposure brighter and line on bottom makes it darker. Thanks for watching the video!
I have exatly the same problems like you, the Pictures are over exposed in May times. Therefore i love my SX 70 were i have no Problems . All Pictures in coulor or black&white are top. Hopefully there will be a new kind of Polaroid camera comes out with better quality.

I have this camera, and I found the same over exposure issue. Your version seems to be really bad, though. Mine was ok as the sun went down.

@@DiegoFabro my camera does the same and Polaroid said it was the way I shot the pictures like bro it’s the camera a lot of people are experiencing the same issue and they’re not doing nothing about it
@@optimuscunt7746 are you letting it sit under the frog tongue for a minute? And are you underexposing like the camera allows?
from this video i learned, old cameras always be better , and for wanting goot pic need to pretend im a super duper turist , that way no eye contact :)

In aperture mode (using the app) Now+ underexposes 1 EV (calibration with my lightmeter)

My sx-70 and polaroid impulse take the best photos! I have the now and now+ and those photos are ugly!!!!
The SX-70 and the polaroid 600 seem to be the best options, but not so easy to find in Europe. I'll keep looking for one. Not a fan of the Now +, that's for sure.
