Really cool picture. Would love to know more about your setting to get hard shadows as you do. Do you shoot manual?

Thanks! Always manual, expose for the highlights, never shadow or average metering. That’s my personal preference.

Great shots, what settings do you use in general for your street photography. Thanks

Thanks! Aperture f/11 iso 200-400 shutter speed 1/500. Lens 32-64mm, keeping mostly at 32. Auto focus

Really love high lights… seems film photo. Is this post production result? Depending on medium format?
Let me know, love your photography

Thanks so much! It's just strong sunlight at the golden hour that makes the colours very dense and rich. Exposing for the highlights, and avoiding average metering, helps too. Very little post processing in Adobe Lightroom. I get same results shooting with Canon 5D M2 or 5DSR, so you definitely don't need Medium Format at all, just good lighting and a bit of fiddling in Lightroom

Sun light at 2:03 and so on photos, it is a kind of soft… for the harsh backlight , nice. Did you cut the frame on the top?

Out of curiousity, what is the camera setting you use and autofocus mode?

Hi! ISO 200, f/11, ss 1/500 most of the time, depending on the light condition. I also preselect point of focus area based on the scene I’m shooting or approaching.

Even though I live in Ireland, whenever I see strong light, as in this video, I think there's something wrong... it's supposed to be grey and raining!😀

Exactly! Can’t waste a minute of sunshine here. Thanks for watching David👍
