+Fuji Guys This should already be out though. Simply call it the "InstaX 90" for example, just get rid of the word mini. Make it have all the awesome features of the mini 90 bit with nice big square photos that we all want!!
there's a shop in hongkong they disassembling the instax wide 300 and then selling it a very expensive price..you can attach ring adapter to used some old lens or vintage lens like helios, jupiter soo cool! the photos are all alive.. very catchy!
Thank you! You guys answered all my question. Was getting tired of looking for all the bits and pieces of information i needed. Now I know which camera im going to get.
so what are the major differences between the 300 and 210? aside from the tripod feature and the controls of the 300, I can't seem to find any significant addition to the new Instax wide 300. I'm planning to buy an Instax Wide, but I can't find a good enough reason to buy the 300 over the 210. Mind pointing out the difference? and is it worth it to spend the extra bucks for the 300? thanks!
Why do orders through amazon often go wrong? My camera came in, from fujifilm, and was missing pieces though its supposed to be brand new. glad i watched your video to confirm things were missing.
Thanks for your comments. Depending on whether it is from the "Marketplace" or direct can make a difference on the state of the camera and packaging. Rate the seller accordingly.
I wanna get this camera for my birthday next year because I'm going to Nepal for my uncle's wedding and I wanna take lots of pictures, I want this one because of the wide photos but I have some questions, in the next 3-5 years will you be still selling the wide films and is the quality of the pictures good and vibrant
Hello, I've recently bought this camera, but every time I load film, the LCD screen flashes with an "E". I have ejected the protective layer. Did I load the film incorrectly or something else? Thank you for your time.
It is tough to say for sure what your issue is. Only other thing to try is to change the batteries for a new set of alkaline batteries. Otherwise you are better to contact your local Fujifilm office and repair depot. They are better suited to assist in diagnosing your issue and working to resolve it.
SO WHEN i PUT BATTERIES IN .. (NO FILM IN IT MIND YOU) I CANT USE/TEST FLASH OR POWER ON TO LET THE ZOOM OUT? IS THAT NORMAL ? IS IT BROKE? ...OR DO I NEED TO PUT FILM IN IT TO FUNCTION FLASH OR ZOOM ? THANKS YALL
The camera can recognize when there is a cartridge. When you load the film, you will have to take a picture to eject the protective cover. If the cover does not come out and the camera does not fire, you can remove the cartridge from the camera. Double check the batteries and if that does not help, contact customer support in your area.
I'm having a similar issue where even though 8 put batteries in the camera turns on and off but I can't take a picture, test the flash, the lens does not extend or retract, and the exposure/flash buttons are not working. I bought this camera used and "tested" but hasn't worked since I got it. I bought fresh batteries and still isn't working and there's nothing wrong with the lense. Did you ever figure out to fix it?
I bought this camera new and after 3 weeks it would no longer take photos - when turned on the camera would make a noise as if turning on but the lens does not extend and the shutter remains closed. There is a flashing 'E' on the screen. Ive tried replacing the batteries but the problem remains. Any suggestions?
thank you for your reply, but also a camera in wide format with better functions like the mini 90 would be great! why you stopped producing the instax 500AF?? that one was much more advanced than the wide 210 and 300
I just got this camera and the flash won't go off. I changed the batteries from the ones that came with the camera and when I did the red light turned on for awhile, but when I tried to take a picture it still can out totally black. When I press the shutter button the light turns red and seems to release randomly, without the flash going off. Every pictures comes out almost completely black. I've wasted 10 pieces of film trying to figure it out.
Alana Reihl I was lucky enough to contact Urban Outfitters where I bought the camera. They told me it must be defective and replaced the camera and film for me! My new one works great. Check out the return policy from where you purchased it. Good luck

This will be my first time travelling abroad to another country (Japan, specifically) with my Instax Wide 300 and I'm really worried about the film. How should I travel with this, do I put it in my Check-in Luggage or Hand Carry? Can I put it through an X-ray Machine? Or does it need to be hand check? Will airport security be okay with this? do you guys know? :)
Great question Christine. The ISO of instax film is 800, which will not normally be an issue with unexposed film going through an X-Ray machine; once. The effects of x-rays on unexposed film is cumulative; try to minimize how many times it goes through an x-ray. The intensity of the airport x-ray machine will vary from country to country. If possible, take unexposed film as carry-on and ask if it can be manually inspected, rather than going through the x-ray machine. Once the film is exposed and processed (printed) x-rays do not affect the prints. How about buying the film where you are traveling to? That will prevent the need to have any special inspection.
hi everyone! I have a problem with my Instax wide, it has new batteries and I put in a new set of film just now. But for some reason the flash isn't working (even if I turn on the flash and set the exposure) and when the film comes out it's all black. Anyone have any ideas what happened? this camera is just new and I really was hoping it would last me long.
I just got mine but the box doesn't include a film. So I'm gonna have to get one. I just have a question, does it not turn on if it doesn't have a film? cause mine is not turning on even if It has a battery. please reply thank you!
Everyone thinks Instax made the “wide” film as a bigger alternative to the Instax mini. In actual fact, the Instax “wide” is the original format and Instax have been making them since the 90s.
Hi guys ! I have that camera and I really like it. Thanks for the video btw, very helpful ! I am encountering a problem with the camera : my 10 charges went off, so I needed to change it. I put on the new ones, but now the camera makes a noise when I turn it on, and a "E" with the L and D symbols goes on and off... The viewfinder stays outside and I can't turn it off. Anyone has encountered the same problem ? Any solutions ? Thanks a lot !
Sounds like the film pack is not loaded quite correctly. You can try opening the film back, and double-checking that the film is correctly inserted. (Look for the yellow line of the camera to line up with the yellow line on the film pack.) If not, please contact your local Fujifilm office, as they are better suited to assist you.
The camera itself is OK for travel. It's the unexposed film that is sensitive to X-Rays. (Once the print is made, it's not a concern.) If possible, keep the unexposed film in the original sealed packaging and ask for a manual inspection at airport security.
You might try to do it carefully. But, we suggest you contact the repair centre for the FUJIFILM office in your country. They are better suited to assist you.
There is no serial number on the Wide 300 camera. A good idea is to call the local support centre first. Try replacing the batteries and trying again. This could be the issue.
Double-check that the batteries are fresh and are inserted correctly. If it still doesn't work, please contact the repair centre for the FUJIFILM office in your country. They are better suited to help you.
I know this comment isnt goign to go to the makers of this wide category. Tired of promoting the mini instax with millions of version of mini instax cameras. We want a really well made wide instax camera and a compact one with the Polaroid SX-70 structure. Really good quality materials and compact camera like the SX-70. Who cares if it's a 400$ camera? We want a really nice well made instax wide camera.
Agreed. I don't need it to be an SLR like the SX-70, but include a good fast lens f/8, instead of f/12-14. Also include real AF instead of two position zone focus. Think of the old 500AF with a high quality glass optic f/8 lens. Cheers!
Fuji Guys us1.webpublications.com.au/static/images/articles/i1131/113170_12lo.jpg is this really hard make a fuji like this with install wide film? I was even thinking to make a 3D printer camera cause i'm really tired of wearing a big Fuji Instax Wide camera. but i want bigger film so I must to wear such a big camera with me. Did you talk with the design group? I would love to know please :) Thanks so much for your feedback
A camera from 1976 it has copyright? really? Well I'm sure Fujifilm can make a really compact model like the SX-70 if was possible in the 70's would be possible and even cheaper right now. Thanks you too for your reply
Fuji Guys Please make the next iteration of this camera look good! I am the owner of an instax 210 and it's embarrassing going out in public with it! At least make it look something along the lines of the lomo instant (you know something retro) if make it look cool I will buy!!
thanks but the you have not show as yoyr photo takin from this instax colored or not and i want to know that exist products of fujifilms instant photo with format more than this and thank you
Sorry to hear your camera is not functioning. Double-check that you have fresh (new) alkaline batteries and that they are installed the correct way. This is probably as far as the wide format will go, it's less profitable for them compared to the instax mini and square. my bet is that they'll axe it in favour of the new square.
Yes. The film, we do recommend that you ask security to hand check and not X-Ray the film. So better to carry on your film packs and not check them in your luggage.
Make sure you are using new "AA" alkaline batteries and they are inserted correctly. If that does not resolve your issue, please contact the customer support group of the Fujifilm office in your country, as they are better suited to assist you. In Canada, call: 1.800.461.0416. I wish they'd make the film come out of the front like an old polaroid...people think you're crazy when you walk around with these, whereas people are used to the old Polaroids.
+Fuji Guys I understand. I simply believe that the film should come out the front, not the top. It should still use the instax wide film, which is excellent.
You'd think the Fuji tutorial would show you correctly how to attach the close up attachment ! The directions say to make sure camera is on first with the lens cover blade's open or you might break it ! These cameras break easily unfortunately. Look on Ebay and you'll see many 300 camera's that have a misaligned lens that's usually an easy fix . They'll say they never tried it and they don't know if its works; like most Ebay liars say ! Their best wide camera is the 500 automatic, but although old and expensive, it's a much better camera !
Please release a printer such as the SP-2 that takes wide film. Polaroid announced a camera (Polaroid Pop) where you can connect a phone through wifi with their camera that will print a wide print. However, I don't want to purchase these plastic cameras that will eventually fail on you. If there are no plans to do so, make a more rigid camera that can take a beating no matter the price. People want this. Check fujirumors to confirm. Enjoy.
Not impressed with this camera or any of the Fuji Instax cameras. No self timer and no disabling the flash really sucks ! Its like Fuji doesn't really care about these cameras, just about selling film ! That must be true because they let Lomography kick their asses in design and originality and you know Fuji could kill anybodies best design ! They really disappoint me in their weak attempts at making very mediocre Instax cameras when they could easily be the best !Great metering would be the best improvement above all others and would be the guaranteed selling point ! And what about different film speeds ? And fully manual Instax cameras that are more professional ! I have an XPro3, an XT3 and an X100F and would love an Instax Pro ! That's enough because I could go on for days. Larry
FUJI , this so disappointing a half ass camera , please give us 1 manual exspoure 2 a hotshoe to trigger flash 3 turn off camera flash. LOMO is leaving you for dust .I know where I,ll be spending my money and it wont be Fuji ,so get your act together
damn. the designers of the instax cameras should get fired. you build such beautiful cameras fuji, but the instax ones always look like ufos. isn't there a way to make them a tack smaller?
The size of the film is what makes the Wide cameras as large as they are. To make them smaller would require the bending of the time/space continuum. Our Engineers are good, but they are not, yet, that good.
Seriously, this is what I've been waiting for. Want more videos about this camera, because my thoughts about buying this one are getting stronger.
Men u the real MVP. Never seen such a detailled explanation in such tiny amount of time ! Perfect ! Thks
Thanks for your feedback.
Why can't Fuji make a bigger instax camera that has all the qualities of the mini 90. I want bigger photos but the functions of the mini 90!!
+Fuji Guys This should already be out though. Simply call it the "InstaX 90" for example, just get rid of the word mini. Make it have all the awesome features of the mini 90 bit with nice big square photos that we all want!!
Cus_09 I would love that but it would be pretty pricey but it would be so worth it
I wished they made an Instax Wide with the functionalities of the Mini 90 Neo Classic.
+Fuji Guys Obviously they were more focussed on selling nearly 20 year old tech in a new housing for a ridiculous price :)
there's a shop in hongkong they disassembling the instax wide 300 and then selling it a very expensive price..you can attach ring adapter to used some old lens or vintage lens like helios, jupiter soo cool! the photos are all alive.. very catchy!
that's interesting, how can you see if you're on focus when you don't have a viewfinder though
Focus distances on lens. That's how they always did it.
Thank you! You guys answered all my question. Was getting tired of looking for all the bits and pieces of information i needed. Now I know which camera im going to get.
Ahh yes..."of course" haha
I just got this camera, and it seems that there is no way to turn off the flash?
Unfortunately there is only Auto and forced flash only.
You can't turn it off but you can put something on the flash to take photos without it
black tape. that's wht i do
We would not recommend putting anything like black tape over the flash. This could cause the flash to overheat and damage the camera.
what about any kind of soft filters?
Never heard someone say “of course” as many times before 😅😂
Fuji please make an Instax Wide Neo Claasic and an Instax Wide Printer.! BTW, I love my Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic. Really fun to bring to parties. 👍👍
Thanks for the feedback. A couple of models we would like to see too.
When are we going to get the 500AF. a much better option
Hi, can you explain this feature: in what situation would one use the "lighter" and "darker" function? -Thanks!
I hope Fuji make a Instax Share Wide printer for that film :)

Excellent camera 📷✌️👌
OF COURSE!
Tripod socket it a useful addition. Still waiting for the flash disable button though!
I love fuji instax 8 printer PLEASE fuji can you make an instax 300 printer?? That would awesome
Make it happen please you will make a killing selling them.
+Farouk Cherchali They won't because the LED array would be too expensive at that resolution. The device would be somewhere at 600 USD retail.

Great video thanks 😊
Thank you !
that was great and very helpful thank you
Regarding not having to shake the photograph amid development does still doing so have any negative effects on the overall development process?
This camera is awesome!
I'm wondering is shooting closeup using .9-3m or 3-infinity

when will you make a fuji sp-2 printer in wide format!?!?
also, when a instax wide camera with same tecnology of the mini 90???
Thanks for your feedback. We have had a number of requests for a wide-format printer.
thank you for your reply, but also a camera in wide format with better functions like the mini 90 would be great! why you stopped producing the instax 500AF?? that one was much more advanced than the wide 210 and 300

WHY YOU GUYS DIDNT MAKE THE REVIEW THE HS55 EXR WHEN ITS ALREADY IN THE MARKET ?

Hi everybody, i have a Instax Wide 300, but i lost yhe battery cover, dos anyone know if there is another cover that fits ?

Great review mate!
To make sure it does not turn on accidentally in the Bag, Can I remove the batteries with the film pack in it?
Absolutely! Good Idea too...that way it does not accidentally turn on if it is in a bag loose.
What's the difference between this one and the fuji instax 210
I just got mine but the box doesn't include a film. So I'm gonna have to get one. I just have a question, does it not turn on if it doesn't have a film? cause mine is not turning on even if It has a battery. please reply thank you!
+Fuji Guys Okay. Thank you for the immediate response.
+Sittie Macabato LOL
Hi i bought this camera but I don't know why it doesn't work
When I charge the film it's like the film is not charged
Do you know why?
Thank you
Merci pour la vidéo avec sous titres français sa m'a bien aidé😁
You are welcome. We add French subtitles to all of our videos.
how do i turn the flash off when i take close up pics for example films? because i cant turn it off
Everyone thinks Instax made the “wide” film as a bigger alternative to the Instax mini. In actual fact, the Instax “wide” is the original format and Instax have been making them since the 90s.
That is correct! Instax Wide was the first format!
Hi guys !
I have that camera and I really like it. Thanks for the video btw, very helpful !

imagine if fujifilm developed a properly functioning camera for instaxwide film!
Proper focus, manual control etc.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll all have to wait and see.
Did the film come with an order with the camera? Or extra price?
It will depend on the country the camera is purchased in whether or not there is a pack of film included with the camera.
do you get to pic what pictures you want to take? because i don't want to take one picture and then have it be bad..?
This is a film camera. So, each time you press the shutter release button a print is created.
i didn't get the booklet :( why is there a unremovable plastic in the battery area
It really helped me - thanks a lot !!
Hi! How long does the picture take to develop itself?thanks :)
Claudia Palla 90 ish seconds
my bad got mixed up with instax mini, this ones about 5 mins
You guys should make the camera with timer and turnoff the flash :(
Will they come with film in canada
thank you
can you bring the actual camera to airports when you travel over seas?
The camera itself is OK for travel. It's the unexposed film that is sensitive to X-Rays. (Once the print is made, it's not a concern.) If possible, keep the unexposed film in the original sealed packaging and ask for a manual inspection at airport security.
Thank you!
I have an issue. I loaded the film in the wrong way, without matching the yellow lines. How do I remove it and load in the correct way?
You might try to do it carefully. But, we suggest you contact the repair centre for the FUJIFILM office in your country. They are better suited to assist you.
+Fuji Guys where do i find the serial number? I need to send mine back, the lens is jammed!
There is no serial number on the Wide 300 camera. A good idea is to call the local support centre first. Try replacing the batteries and trying again. This could be the issue.
The lens of my Instax Wide 300 don't push outwards, what's wrong?
Double-check that the batteries are fresh and are inserted correctly. If it still doesn't work, please contact the repair centre for the FUJIFILM office in your country. They are better suited to help you.

The Instax Wide 300 is about the same size as the Wide 210.
How many pictures can we take with 4 Dry battery?
You get appoximately 100 images with AA alkaline batteries.
Do you know where the serial number is? I can’t find...
As hard as you may look, you won't find a serial number on that camera.

Yes. The film, we do recommend that you ask security to hand check and not X-Ray the film. So better to carry on your film packs and not check them in your luggage.
Thank you :)
what brand are the batteries?

Hi Stephanie, Please locate the nearest support centre for more assistance. Difficult to diagnose the issue here.

Their best wide camera is the 500 automatic, but although old and expensive, it's a much better camera !
it can takes videos? just asking ?
No. It is a film-based camera for taking still photos and making the print right away.
LOL... serious?
no timer ?
That is correct, there is no self timer on the Wide 300.
how much it is
That depends on the market. Check with your local camera store.
Enjoy.
Thank-you for your comments and feedback.
My camera won't turn on there was no red light and the camera didn't come out
Double check the batteries are well inserted. If there are, then contact customer support in you market. WWW.FUJIFILM.COM

Ar Da *Too
It's ugly and too big. Much better old polaroid cam :(
credibility suffers when you don't show me the pictures Billy took!
Larry
can you not say of course every sec?😂
MyMagic Wonderland
Of corse he cant😂😂😂😂😂
Film is expensive wtf. 20$ for 20 shots
FUJI , this so disappointing a half ass camera , please give us 1 manual exspoure 2 a hotshoe to trigger flash 3 turn off camera flash. LOMO is leaving you for dust .I know where I,ll be spending my money and it wont be Fuji ,so get your act together
+Johnny D. I'm pretty sure it's necessary for the flash to be on
waste of money
damn. the designers of the instax cameras should get fired. you build such beautiful cameras fuji, but the instax ones always look like ufos. isn't there a way to make them a tack smaller?
The size of the film is what makes the Wide cameras as large as they are. To make them smaller would require the bending of the time/space continuum. Our Engineers are good, but they are not, yet, that good.
