Now, that's cool! I hope you will show us the 5 axis machining. Ciao, Marco.
Did the spindle struggle at the start? sounded like it lost rpms? Ore was it something in the background making it sound like it?
vector control
It would be awesome if you could share your speeds and feeds. I know it's more work for the video, but it really helps demystifying this for all of the X7 owners to have a pro showing what they can really do.
I think feeds and speeds are more for cutter focused vids. workholding , tool holding and part material make a big difference. I have a video on feeds and speeds.
Would you mind saying what they are anyway here please?

Nice video. Seeing the X7 work so smoothy really makes me want to call them and see what the latest pricing is for one of these machines. Thanks for sharing bud and happy new year.
Check the titans of cnc website. They are the new distributors in the US.
Better to just order direct and use a customs broker. It will be substantially cheaper.
Very good👍
I often watch you videos!
The first set of cuts sounded so very very "healthy". Looking forward to the day when my CNC gear puts out a rooster tail of chips like yours!!
lmao "BOGGGN". let it eat! ha ha.... i think the new generation of this machine has a new motor with more torque. But i'm actually more than happy this this machines cutting performance.
Try pushing the radial step over, you'd be suprised what an endmill can handle. Small changes can dramatically drop cycle times.
Great videos! Quick question...which ones higher on the list for you, Haas Mini Mill, or the Syil X7? or is that like comparing apples to oranges?
Hey i was watching a ryan Harris video on RUclips about some RC cars setup. Thought i saw u in the background at the track
interesting :)
Question ... with $38,000 to spend, would you purchase a newX7 or used Haas mini for prototype and/or small production (1-5 parts)?
Damn this thing eats😮
Just out of curiousity (home shop cnc person here) how do you have such smooth movements around corners? I have a haas mini mill and it seems to stutter around corners. Is that something HSM would resolve?
Does your CAM post radius in G02/G03 or G01? If GO1 it could be a look ahead issue with too many lines of code to round the corner
Im using Fusion 360 as my CAD/CAM tool.. I wouldnt say my corners are segments just that it seems to slow an stutter around corners..
@@nickvasquez8054 Yea looks like it's using G1, I see no G2 in my code for this toolpath. The machine is a 2022 Haas Minimill
@@arttarsha sounds like a look ahead and acceleration/deceleration issue. What's your feed rate around the corners
@@arttarsha switch post with something that can output G02/3. It should help.
Man I'd love to come work for you.
How do you find that vice?
how do use renishaw in fanuc control?
А где тут 5axis???????
How much this X7
Can you not push the roughing any harder than that, you could do both ways and increase the feed speed? Its a big old cutter in a good holder, should be able to go much harder than that?
The tool and the cutter aren't the problem...
@@kevind1865 The datasheet says its an 8.2 or a 12kw spindle, so it must be able to push harder than that. Its only aluminium. I only hit about 5 percent spindle load on a 30kw spindle pushing probably 4x faster than this. Feels like this machine should be able to go harder
I have one and it can. I have the 5.5kW w/ syntec.@@PetesShredder
@@PetesShredder Meh, you hear it bog down pretty good on the first cut. That first cut is probably into the 5 min power rating on the mill.
@@PetesShredderthe X7 is rated at 8.2 kW continuous, and 12 kW for 30 mins (150% load). You could absolutely push this roughing cycle harder, but his machine is an older version that is not as powerful. 5.5 kW I think
Those retracts are painful to watch
haha the difference between programming for one part and a thousand.
The toolpath is atrocious, finally found a comment with the same sentiments
And why so many Z-axis taps that take up 90% of the machine time?)) Get rid of it, it's unbearable when you go from top to bottom. Why??
