That underside cable management legit is a work of art.
Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?
I was stupid lost my account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Ariel Dante instablaster :)
I really loved Josh clarifying the type of fog. "Oh wait you said thin layer? Well that completely changes what I was going to play..."
"Don't forget to turn your mics off" should definitely be a Tshirt!!!
"Spent thousand on equipment to sound like a garage band" should be a t-shirt
Should it though?
Yuuusss
“I’m overwhelmed with emotion..” tap-tap-tap.
Favorite comment by far.
I love how zen and deep Josh is naturally... that’s honestly what drew me in... then the playing... the info... and now, I buy JHS pedals and some from other brands he’s promoted. It has also in turn helped influence me in how I run my own business. Thank you guys.
You find him zen? He's a cool guy no doubt but I get the impression things are moving pretty quick and in a quietly neurotic fashion upstairs.
@@AnodyneHipsterInfluencerI agree with you
Thanks for transporting me to the magical epiphany forest guys
Big thank to you Josh, you showed me how to use a reverse delay in a musical way 😊🙏
"At the end if the day, nobody cares." - JHS. Love it!
I know this video is about pedals but hey that ride cymbal sounds great yes yes.
Nick is great drummer, not only his grooves, but he also sounds so good
@@stanislavmigra oh yeah, he does. I'm here for the pedals, but Nick's playing motivated me to take up drums. He's so awesome
We appreciate your work nick.
I'd love to know what Mic setup/post effects and stuff he uses.
@@jacobbaldwin9707 Nick has his own channel, I saw a video about using a mono overhead ribbon mic and then reamping that through different guitar pedals. Pretty cool stuff
Underside of board is a thing of beauty.
It's very interesting how few of his own pedals he uses, I would imagine the temptation would be to showcase all of your latest pedals to encourage sales, but he's very open and genuine about just using what he likes using. Impressive.
That's how he sucks you in & the next thing you know you're playing his pedals too, because you've bought three of them. We could call it "modest marketing" which is teetering on oxymoronic, making it even more marketable in a complete mindfuck kind of way.
@@JeighNeither True. Sometimes the best methodology isn't even logical.
Thanks for the shout out guys. Amp is 6L6 power tubes if anyone is wondering
I actually was wondering so thank you. Nothing like some good 6L6’s. Most tubes with names that contain a 6 are awesome. 6L6, KT66’ 6V6... are 3 of my all time favorite tubes. Then again I love my old Marshall with EL34’s and my Orange’s EL84’s and my Fender with 6V6’s...so I guess I love all tubes. Great sounding amp btw.
Edit * oh and the EF86 channel! Awesome man...
Strange coincidence that I happened upon your website earlier today while looking for a new pedalboard. Y'all make great stuff!
@@cameronmoore7675 Awesome! let me know if you have any questions.
@@Creationmusiccompany Actually, I do! I found your site and boards from an old RUclips video on your channel where you guide viewers through the process of screwing in a Walrus Audio Phoenix power supply to the underside of the board.
I see that you've switched from wood to aluminum for the main panel of the board since then. Is there still an option for affixing that power supply somewhere similarly discreet?
@@cameronmoore7675 Yea, so back when we made that first video, we weren't too familiar with dual lock. 3M Dual Lock holds insanely well and 2 strips the length of your power supply is all you need. No brackets, no screws, universal fit.
The most wholesome and eye opening jam sesh I’ve ever witnessed. It’s so nicely produced that you can almost feel like you are a part of it.
Damn I've missed the show because I was working on my pedalboard 😂 how ironic
Walking through the forest is perfection. I've legit skipped to this part and listened to this jam probably 15 times over the last week 🤘
I keep rewatching this episode. It is my favorite and the jams are really stellar here! Also love the board choices and how well you use and stack the pedals. Excellent fellas!
I’ve obviously known how much I love to jam and improvise a musical conversation with band mates but I had no idea it was almost as enjoyable to watch like minded musicians do the same. Really tasty and genuine in the room today, Cats! 👌
Synesthesia is when you perceive the effect of one sense with another. Not just tasting color ... it's seeing sound, tasting sound, hearing color, feeling flavor, etc.
Also ‘walking in the forest with fog and you wonder if this could be the moment you’ve been waiting for’ was the best jam ever. Nick I think you need to paint a verbal picture before every jam.
Walking Through the Forest was incredible!!!! 🤩
@ 8:15 I heard "Words is Hard" in my head lol Great show! Love the jams.
34 minutes in, the FUZZ comes on, and the bassist Zach Simms really starts jamming! So good!
You guys are what creating music collectively is all about.
I enjoy what you fellas do.
Honestly...how can anyone Thumbs down this thing? Chock full of bantery information and jam
Sorry to have missed the live version, but man, what a killer show. Love it.
I cannot consume enough of yalls content! I love every video you do, keep up the great work!!
I just put my first pedal board together this year. All your videos really helped me get it set up. Thank you so much for all the info you guys share with the world. Also I’m loving the 3 series chorus.
Also as a boss lover it’s always good to see boss pedals on a board.
Thank you for bringing us the content we desperately needed in 2020!
Now I love the humor on all of these, but I have to say this had me rolling all night. Classic right here!
My favourite live band right now, i listened to it on my way to work
in the morning and it was glorious :)
Love hearing y’all play. So inspiring.
Now that the H9 is gone, you can see how many space it saves
I have the Zoom ms-50g. I can't imagine paying 6x more for eventide or line6. They all sound great.
Seriously good playing on this episode. Good work guys!
Great tones on that board!!!
The 32:00 jam remember me Kingston Wall’s songs...amazing
I'm a huge vibrato fan. This checked all the boxes for me. Thank you guys!
43:25 is the underside of the board. It’s pure magic. 😍
You guys have one hell of a streaming setup. Great time here. Love the board.
Wow, that forest jam was really good.
Some of your best jams ever, I would buy that album!
This episode has brought me to a clearing in the forest where I contemplate building my own pedalboard instead of arranging my pedals loosely on top of my line6 control board. Thanks JHS for the info, history and incites into the pedal world and making it fun.Great pedals! Enjoy the show keep up the good work.🎸😎
walking through the forest is so amazing! i wish i had such control over my equipment to be able to get sounds like that... JHS you rock on guitar brother!
.
Absolutely love 'Babbling Brook In A Green Forest' (around 26:00) Gorgeous
.
Not even half way through the episode and there's been a Weeble Wobble reference and a Tanooki Mario spotted next to the pedal board...JHS, you're my kind of people!
Wow those are 3 awesome musicians right there, those jams were 🔥
Flying hecks, guys! Bravo!
Now I'm lost in the forest of ambient textures, and I love it!
Nice jam guys. Loved it.
Josh, please put these jams of yours with your staff during these past few years pedal demos on Spotify or Apple Music. I’d buy your album. I just bought My First JHS pedal the Bonzai. Amazing. Also bought the recommended Way Huge Conspiracy Theory. Another subtle great pedal. I’m socking my money away into savings so I can buy more of your fabulous pedals. Keep up the great work.
«Walking through the nature» by Ambient Nature. Damn. Awesome tone and dynamics🤩🔥🤘🏻
Josh I appreciated you playing with the tiny hand on your finger. You are truly a thespian tinkerer. 🤓👍
Awesome show! That venture away from Chill Town was almost something outta Hawkwind - loved it! One of your previous jams could have been called Chilled Anger.
I just bought the Tidewater and had no idea there was a pick or a button in the box. Happy surprise to me. Thanks for mentioning it.
Work in JHS company is like heaven...i guess.....making great pedals!!! Music jam!!!!! You tube awesome episodes......is heaven!!!! ❤😍🎼🎧
You guys gotta do an Empire Strikes Back Parody where Josh Dresses as Darth Flanger and he cuts Nick's Guitar chord while he's jamming and tells him "he is his father". And Nick goes... "Noooo"
Actually... the more I think about it... the more I say there should be an overdrive phaser pedal called “THE DARTH PHASER”
walking through the forest. nice jam guys enjoyed it
14:47 woke me from my nap in tears.
Warbletron is the same exact circuit as the Unicorn, yet on Reverb, people are trying to sell Warbletrons for twice as much as Unicorns, and they don't have Tap Tempo. Hilarious.
Really enjoying the jams lads. Cheers from Australia.
Damn, you guys. Those jams really hit a button.
I love Addison's warm, calm instructions every now and then. I'm starting to get the impression he's there as much to keep Josh and Nick under control as he is to rock the bass!
synesthesia is a trip. seeing sounds as textures
27:11 YES! That was perfectly timed spice! Hit that b6 more, Addison!
You guys should have a code phrase for turning off the mics. Like “we’re goin hot!” Great episode
Great episode ! Really inspiring !! All those jams are so awesome they should become songs! Or maybe the beauty is that they will remain unfinished...
Sweet board. I just so happen to be wearing my creation music company baseball shirt. Very nice.
Love my big flashback. There are more unique pedals out there but for simplicity during a gig where many sounds are needed it is great.
Jam # : In the olden days at the age Fillmore East, I would have stood and cheered for this. Thank you!
Chill Slide Jam (sandwich!). Man that pack of cables sounds like a fun project. Want.
That "walking through the forest" jam was dope! Sounded almost U2 ish or like some forgotten Kings of Leon demo. Real nice guys!
Love your channel and always learn so much.I am an intermediate player looking for some new sounds that are user friendly and building my new board.Would be the happiest man in the world with a board like yours.
Just got the new 3 series Fuzz and it’s great!!!
Thanks for making quality affordable pedals!!!
Thanks for your content Brother. 👍
Definitely keeping me "semi" sane.
thanks bro
take care
👍✌😎
tone quest jam, cymbals on intro, nick you absolute beat you, such a true talent
That golden mic is truly superb. Bonus points for style!
Nice jams and tones!
Wow. My Waggi 28" Pedalboard is . . . extremely Neat, but this is: the most Clean & Organized underside, I have ever seen. Agree about Bestronics. I buy from them & Sweetwater. Good Luck with the new pedalboard Josh.
I had a band named Chill Factor. We got the name from a out door gig ,33 degrees, misty rain and a slight breeze from the north. We were under a 10 X10 pop up canopy. We did have little electric space heater that caused a buzz in our sound and was about as warm as a dogs breath. The Persian rug we were standing got soaked. Someone found plywood for us to stand on. Got paid 500.00. Good times.
That's probably about as good as it will ever get.
as a brazilian, i was happy with the opening theme song. cool.
That first jam is like Bill Frisell trio East/West vibes. Nice board and TONEZ!
The Ambient Nature jam was really really nice!
That Paul Gilbert pedal board interview was very fun to watch.
Man some real explosions in the sky or Appleseed cast vibes on some of the forest visualization jam on this one. I love you guys jamming. It may be the best parts of the show. Have you all been in a band together? You all vibe so well of each other and instantly tight falling into the jam
Wow, Ambient Nature was a very cool jam 😎 EITS vibes 💥
Dang. I knew the answer too! The year after me! If only I had been able to watch this live...
Goddammit I love these sessions. Your jams! Uhn! The jams....
I watched this episode at least 20 times (I don't have a problem) and the episode "Nick's pedalboard intervention" at least 18 times (again, I don't have a problem, I'm fine). It really helped to understand how I want my board: dimensions, sounds, pedals, so thank you, really (especially dimensions: I have a pedalboard of the same size as Josh and similar size pedals but for some reason nothing fit so well as in his and so tidy! It was discouraging). I wish you could make other videos like this one :)
Hot damn, that warbletron is the vibe I've been looking for...
Awesome implementation.
Thanks for the shoutout! Love the board.
This is one of the finest prog rock albums I’ve ever heard.
Digging the jams! I felt dare I say, Russian circles influence in that ambient jam in the woods. So good 🤘maybe Dark Circles would be a good name
Very cool episode guys with a nice chilly vibe and a very - very nice board build from Addison indeed !
Now for a slight-off-topic-record-time-remark: the Synesthesia mod. pedal reminds me of the the awesome band The Black Angels , a psych rock band from Austin , Texas.
They have a song called "I Hear Colors" .
The song is about chromaesthesia, a from of synesthesia in which non-visual stimulation results in the experience of color sensations ...
That JHS 3Pedals Fuzz sounds awesome. Great pedal.
That Dark jam was 😎 cool.
A Flashback... That's a flashback. No switcher? No midi? My heart is full of love but confused. Sounds great! If my board could only be so easy and free. That's it, I'm building a smaller analog styled board for my own life. I need it.
I use a morning glory v4 always on. Josh you gotta try this, put a compressor before it, blend backed off, level a little pushing,I use a tc electronic hypergravity, and set the mg to tone 12 o clock, level 1 o clock and gain at 11. Its such a smooth sound. You will play for hours through it!
I just got the Volante last week can’t wait to see what you guys do with it!
That amp is really cool! And that pedal board…holy cow, what a sweet bottom.
23:22 I was pretty stoned watching youtube suggestions... this was pretty epic while listening under the influence
i bought the tc electronic flashback x4 because of this video. love it
