great ride! the first time going up has an unexpected “weightlessness” feel to it, and the rest of the ride feels like you’re gonna fall out of your seat. Ask them to push down the restraints as much as they can or else you’ll feel like you’ll fall off. Oh and keep your head back! My head was bobbing around.
That’s called Hang time, rides are meant to make you feel that way.

When the ride operator asked me to see if I was ready during my recent visit to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, I said "Yes! Let's ride!". The ride operator said "AWESOME! SEE YOU LATER!" and launched us. My family goes to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom a LOT because it's my closest Six Flags.
He told me the same thing and I said “Hell yeah I am”

i was so lucky when I came to ride this. my friend and I went on two times and we pretty much walked on both times. it was in summer too. but it was so AWESOME

When I was there I waited in a 30 min line and I got on in the front row, the lap bars closed, and I was ready to launch, but then my sister's lap bar (right next to me) wouldn't close, so they shut down the ride and kicked us off. It was the saddest thing ever; I never got to ride after that. (I live 7 hours away from SFDK)

To anyone debating on going on this coaster:
It is not as scary as it looks. This is coming from a guy who was absolutely terrified of roller coasters at that time. It looks intimidating, but you usually can’t actually see how high you are. Also, the drops aren’t bad. I would recommend going on it.
@Maninyourwalls Funny story, I was literally in Six Flags just yesterday, and I went on it. Honestly, it feels practically the same as going forward. Only scary part about this ride is going forward into the building. It’s really fast, but really fun.
@Maninyourwalls Honestly it is kind of an overrated ride. It’s not as scary as everyone says it is. I would say if you went on Medusa, you should be more than qualified to go on this ride.

@Maninyourwalls you should just go for it. Superman is a pretty mild ride and the launch feels pretty slow.
It's short but really fun. One of my favorite parts is the launch backwards where you stall up there for a few seconds. It feels trippy and awesome

Went this past weekend. Honestly it wasn’t all that. The speed at first is cool but wasn’t the best ride. The Batman one wasn’t all that either

Andrew Osborne don’t get me wrong, it’s really fun! The day I went was not busy at all, super short lines and everything! The Medusa one is lots of fun, probably my fav. The joker is scary but fun, it’s a fun time, try to do everything :) and the flash, have fun on that one 😂😂😂😂 and I’d avoid the King Kong one, it’s fun but my head hurt bad after it lol. But try them all!

No matter what ride u go to on amusement parks (besides kiddie rides and da Ferris wheel) You will always hear a woman screaming (its very uncommon to hear a guy scream so loud dat everyone can hear him)

This ride looks so much scary on the ground but when you're on it it's really nothing. It's the top part that turns you upside down is a little nervous. But heak the view from the top and bottom is so...... It lies to you gets you to freak out before you can even realize the truth of the experience. Even Medusa... Now my most favorite ride.... I went on that all day long LoL.
My first roller coaster ride was grizzly and after that pretty much Medusa was like the same..... Except for the fact of having your insides being ripped out of your stomach 🤣

Just went to discovery kingdom for a field trip and waited 3 hours for this and tbh….it was worth it although me and my friend thought we were gonna die when it did the loop at the top 😂😂😂

Went on this a few months ago with a flash pass. Walked straight to the gate and was given the front row. Highlights were the launch, weightless feeling first time it went up, the drop… did feel like I was almost falling out head down on the corkscrew part (I’m petite, 5 foot 5, 108 pounds). Only lap bar. No shoulder restraints. Guess that’s part of the thrill. Would do it again but recommend asking staff to push down lap bar down as far as it could go. Mine didn’t.
In Mexico (MONTERREY) we have this ride but called ZOMBIE RIDE at Bosque Mágico but in ZR the circuit works 2 times.
This is literally electric eel at Seaworld. If you live in so cal and don’t want to drive to Vallejo go to seaworld and it’s the same ride

So I went on this and we had to wait about an hour to get on. Something you should know is that it launches you SUPER fast like really fast. the big drop is sorta bad but it wasn’t the worst thing ever . Definitely worth the wait.

I was so excited to ride this with the homies but it kept breaking down
I remember when I went on this ride, my cousin was dared to scream during the calm parts and stay silent during the scary drops and stuff. It was hilarious. Topped with Eminem's Superman on repeat in my head. Very fun ride, my eyebrows hurt after tho.

We'd always go to this Six Flags, yet I've only been to Six Flags Magic Mountain Once (I wanna go back for X2-). Parents always try to make me figure out what we're going. On my birthday I was all "I know what it is", and if course they still do that (despite covid).

This ride was amazing when we went over the summer. The only thing to be aware of for those going for the first time they will shove the lap bar deep into your legs and crotch.
