I first got mine as a young kid for Christmas back in 2011, and i fell in love with it. This one Phineas And Ferb DS Game, and DreamWorks Racing 3DS game was the first two games i got for it, since i wanted those games to death when i was younger... for some reason, lol. I just have so much nostalgia for the 3DS, from the Nintendo Video, Eshop, Plenty of 3DS and DS games ive played, Swapnote And Flipnote, the Internet, Music, Photos, FaceRaiders, AR Cards, the settings, everything about it feels so nostalgic to me. I really do take much inspiration from My 3DS And Nintendo, since It was when i got introduced to Swapnote in 2012 where i made a comic series starring these two little characters i made and grew up with, its all apart of my childhood and i really thank nintendo for that. The Nintendo 3DS Will always be my favorite handheld console of all time.

Jon Tron I honestly don’t get why people praise 3D Land and World SO much. They’re extremely easy, linear and just kinda plain. Games like SM64, Sunshine and Galaxy draw you into their environment and offer more challenge and feel like true 3D Mario games as opposed to the 2.5D feel. I’m not saying they completely suck, they had their good parts but overall as a Mario platformer standard I find them underwhelming. But if people enjoy them, all the power to them.
It's a shame that it didn't sell well. I just played it last month after binge playing nearly the entire Metroid series for the first time and it's now by far my favorite 3ds title
I loved Super Metroid (played it on the Switch emulator) but I am having a really hard time getting into Samus Returns. Samus just feels slow and clunky compared to Super and the free aim really hurts the movement. Plus Spider ball sucks.
PKMark 2005 - Isn’t there a cliffhanger at the end? I was hoping for a sequel or at least a Super Metroid remake on the Nintendo 3DS, but at this point, it looks very unlikely.
I remember buying an aqua-blue 3DS in July 2011 solely to play Ocarina of Time 3D, despite owning it already on both N64 and GameCube. It was the only 3DS game I owned for half a year, but it was more than enough for me. I love that game so much.
The nostalgia is real. My favorites are Mario kart 7, smash bros 4, and super Mario 3d land. I know they are on the list and are nostalgic favorites of mine.

The "Classic Zelda Formula" allowed you to complete the dungeons in any order you wanted to complete them in. That's a staple of the very first game. They didn't deviate from the classic formula, they returned to it.
Kid Icarus: Uprising is by far my favorite 3DS game of all time. The controls honestly didn’t bug me all that much and the rest of the game is a straight up masterpiece. From the story, characters, gameplay, atmosphere... it’s all absolutely amazing. Still waiting for an HD remaster, Nintendo!
I wasn’t a collector for the AR cards, but I thought it was a really cool collector’s series where your cards battle someone else’s. Very short lived but an interesting watch nonetheless, especially collectors who were being interviewed at E3.

For anyone getting hand/thumb cramps from any DS model including 3DS: I have an O2DS and because it does not have the clamshell design, Nintendo was able to make more thumb/handspace by replacing the location of the buttons/cpad. So that helps. I always get cramps with every (3)DS model except for the 2DS.

Dark moon is my favorite 3DS game and one of my favorite all time games. It never gets boring! I beat it 9 times just by deleting save files that are beaten.
still has a better library than the wii, wii U and switch. but i definitely would replace a couple of these games for samus returns and majora's mask. can never go wrong with metroid

I hate to throw out the accusation of "fanboy" but it seems the only way you could make a top 10 list of 3DS games and not have a single 3rd party game is by starting with the rule that only Nintendo games will be considered. Of course it's hard to argue personal taste, but if I made this list, there might be three first party titles on it. And as far as Pokemon, judging from what is on the list, I think he likes action games and just isn't into RPG's.
I got my first one for my 12th birthday because one of my friends and my girlfriend of the time really wanted me to play Pokemon X and Y with them. I fell in love with the system and kept collecting 3DS games.

I had never owned a DS, 3DS, or 2DS, but I was in Walmart the other day and i bought a 2DS XL with Mario Kart already installed for $99 & and I love the little thing. I've been playing it non-stop.
When I was 4 years old (2014) my grandma made me close me eyes and she put a black 3DS in my hands along with Mario Kart 7. I grew instantly attached and I remember playing Mario kart with all my cousins and friends. Later that year for Christmas I got Super Mario 3d Land and I beat the game after a year. And I recently found it again and all the games and I play it everyday to this day.

It's so strange to hear about sm4sh from a casual perspective. In the community, it's kind of despised because of bayonetta, and the 3ds version gets very little attention because no c-stick means no tryhards. Even though I've turned into a tryhard in ultimate, I have fond memories of the 3ds version, particularly Smash Run. Thank you for giving the causal scene a reason to try the game, Nico.
I remember having Luigi mansion dark moon, I was almost done the game until I left it in my sisters room woke up the next day and it was gone my heart was crushed and even today my mission is to still find it even tho it’s been years 😪

Dark moon is my favorite 3DS game and one of my favorite all time games. It never gets boring! I beat it 9 times just by deleting save files that are beaten.

I hate to throw out the accusation of "fanboy" but it seems the only way you could make a top 10 list of 3DS games and not have a single 3rd party game is by starting with the rule that only Nintendo games will be considered. Of course it's hard to argue personal taste, but if I made this list, there might be three first party titles on it. And as far as Pokemon, judging from what is on the list, I think he likes action games and just isn't into RPG's.

I got my first one for my 12th birthday because one of my friends and my girlfriend of the time really wanted me to play Pokemon X and Y with them. I fell in love with the system and kept collecting 3DS games.

Who's here because they got a 2DS or 3DS XL in 2020? I have always wanted a Nintendo DS and finally at 30 something years old I'm playing a 2DS XL. You're never too old to play a good gaming system.
I had never owned a DS, 3DS, or 2DS, but I was in Walmart the other day and i bought a 2DS XL with Mario Kart already installed for $99 & and I love the little thing. I've been playing it non-stop.

The game is so underrated
When I was 4 years old (2014) my grandma made me close me eyes and she put a black 3DS in my hands along with Mario Kart 7. I grew instantly attached and I remember playing Mario kart with all my cousins and friends. Later that year for Christmas I got Super Mario 3d Land and I beat the game after a year. And I recently found it again and all the games and I play it everyday to this day.

Animal crossing New Leaf was probably one of the most widespread favorite 3DS games. Sure was my favorite. Played nearly 700 hours of it.

It's so strange to hear about sm4sh from a casual perspective. In the community, it's kind of despised because of bayonetta, and the 3ds version gets very little attention because no c-stick means no tryhards. Even though I've turned into a tryhard in ultimate, I have fond memories of the 3ds version, particularly Smash Run. Thank you for giving the causal scene a reason to try the game, Nico.
