@DejaVoodooDoll That's true, but in my personal view xy was not that good in comparison to previous titles, specially b&w (although I don't like b&w2) and hgss. Sure, some aspects were pretty good, such as the mega evolutions and the whole 3d update, but apart from these, gen 6 was pretty lazy in map and pokémon development. I can safely say ORAS deserved a much higher score from IGN, for exemple. "Too much water" is too much bullshit to me. It's got the elements that made HGSS cool remakes (except the exp share things from newer games), and it could have launched earlier, instead of xy, since the engine and systems are always recycled... Reviewing pokémon like they do is unfair. I could talk all day about sun and moon, where they try to change the formula, the critics love and the fans hate it, but I would waste your time hahah
@DejaVoodooDoll although I do think older titles than those are better by a milestone I found myself going back to BW2 during the time XY came out and gasp how everything was just way more bland in comparison XY had an amazing UI for Internet battles, trades and training, and it did have the 3D models But tbh the 3D models weren't even that good (3DS right), for the the sprites for BW had way more personality than all that I'd say it was the perfect game to complete the National Pokedex at the time Other than that? Ultra sun/moon is ok... got boring after game is completed and there is no challenge. Every island “challenge” is easy... boss fight (necrozma) easy and the elite 4 was just pitiful.....
Rodrigo Appendino you definitely should buy one I’ve had ones since around 2016 and I’ve loved it ever since. Also it has an amazing game library just as good as the switch’s, it’s just some of the games on this list we’re a little obscure.

Queria mesmo era q a franquia tivesse ido pro PSVita... é mto mais robusto em questão de hardware q o 3ds e tem uma pegada 100x mais confortável (principalmente pra mim, que jogava usando a postura claw no monster hunter freedom unite no psp kkkkk). Nos monster hunters do 3ds vc fica dependendo daquele botão de lock de câmera. Bem chatinho ficar spammando L toda hora...

@Subodh Inamdar but in USUM more is offered to the player, especially in the post game with Rainbow Rocket. In Sun and Moon you just have the Ultra Beasts and Necrozma, then that's it, nothing else as exciting apart from the Battle Tree
@Subodh Inamdar same goes for ORAS as well in comparison with the original Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald games, where you don't have to use fly, you can catch pretty much nearly every pokemon, the elite 4 rematches are lit and it has in my opinion the best post game ever in Pokémon with the Delta episode
3ds is the best console in my opinion even better than switch cause of the 3d and tomodachi life and it fits in my pocket and you can see the screen even with sun light

C'est la qu'on voit que le système de notation est à chier. Objectivement certaines places sont discutables et certaines licences carrément absentes du top 100 (inazuma eleven go par exemple). Vous remarquerez aussi que la majorité des titres dans le top 20 sont des vieux jeux (sortis au début de vie de la 3ds, il y a donc probablement un manque de recule sur certaines notes).

By the time Sun and Moon came along, critics were no longer as easily impressed, I guess. (Plus, a 1 point difference doesn't mean anything... I mean, Pokemon X has an 87 Metascore and Pokemon Y, 88.) Same reason why the 64 version of Ocarina scored better than the 3DS version. A higher Metacritic score doesn't necessarily mean it's a "better" game, just that at the time the game was released it left a stronger impression on the critics.

Vous remarquerez aussi que la majorité des titres dans le top 20 sont des vieux jeux (sortis au début de vie de la 3ds, il y a donc probablement un manque de recule sur certaines notes).

@@lus-ox3sj Time of release, presumably. X and Y are the first Pokemon titles released for the 3DS, aren't they? And the first mainline titles in 3D as well. By the time Sun and Moon came along, critics were no longer as easily impressed, I guess. (Plus, a 1 point difference doesn't mean anything... I mean, Pokemon X has an 87 Metascore and Pokemon Y, 88.)
Same reason why the 64 version of Ocarina scored better than the 3DS version.
A higher Metacritic score doesn't necessarily mean it's a "better" game, just that at the time the game was released it left a stronger impression on the critics.
