I watch several videos each time I want to learn a new stitch and your tutorials are always among the clearest and easiest to follow. There's a variation of the C2C that might make your life easier. Instead of slip stitching into the top of the chain and then doing 3 double crochets into the space between the chain and the double crochet, put the slip stitch in that same space. The whole process goes much faster and you avoid the struggle of getting the hook into the chain. And I've got to tell you, after watching your behind the scenes video I admire you even more! Thank you for your wonderful channel. Jeanne

Just thought you'd like to know that whenever I hear about something new and want to try it, I check first to see if you have done a tutorial, because I know it will be the best!

Thanks for this video since learning c2c I have never been able to do the decrease so it left a straight edge and after watching your video instead of having a loop straight loop edge it's just neat and straight thanks ever so much for sharing this.

I hate you, you tought me how to start, the first stitch, the magic loop, all the stitches and all the terminology and now this AND all the books in my own language I can throw away. Thank you for being so great I have lots of fun with your tutorials. I do not need those books no more for I can now make my own projects ( in english) ofcourse. Thanks again you are the best.

you have given me an idea for my next blanket...my plam is to just keep increasing until l think it will be large enough before l star to decrease..and this pattern would be interesting with varying colour changes...it is also one of those projects that one can use up scrap wool in..

Thanks, Laura! I wondered, have you ever done any fillet crochet? I would like to figure out how to design a fillet pattern of a wind turbine. I know that sounds strange but I work for a renewable energy company and I was thinking it would be neat to make some scarves as gifts in our company colors with a wind turbine sort of embossed into it. Any idea how I would go about accomplishing that? I am not a pattern designer by any means, but I think it would look really cool. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
