What battery do you use ?
@@crisrobles4627 We use a couple for our Granite, but our favorite is our Dynamite 3s 50c hard case LiPo. It's around 70 dollars on Amazon and Horizon Hobby 😉✌️
Is it the 5000mAh or 5200mAh?
@@crisrobles4627 go with the Zeee 8000mAh 3S 11.1V 100C Hardcase LiPo Battery on ebay and you can't go wrong!

Best deal in RC. Period. Look out Traxxas and others. This price point is what others get $550 for. It does 55 on a 3S.

Nice Unboxing Video! This car is amazing. I made the body stronger with fiberglass tape and Shoe Goo. Next Step are RPM Arms. They are very flexible ;)

You sounded pretty excited. Hehe. I must confess that my Granite BLX v3 is my least expensive Arrma that I own. I have an Outcast 8s that is worth more than $1500 because of the upgrades that I had to make and I also have an EXB K8S hehe. I had to put the SMC motor mount on my granite because I bent the crap out of the stock one. Yeah I send my rigs very high 😅🤣👍
Yes, I was very excited! That's crazy you have so many Arrma's, we're considering purchasing a 6s BLX model toward the end of the year, but it isn't definite. Anyway, thanks for watching! 😉👊👍

Thanks! Yes, we were thinking of upgrading to a taller pinion, but never got to it. Now we won't be upgrading it because I just want it to be my basher 👍

Do the shocks Leak? Love the vid keep it up
I haven't had it long enough to know, but some people have said they leak a tiny bit, though that was with the previous version. We'll have to see! 😉
I have a V3 senton and Big rock . No leaks on the shocks yet!
Now my V2 senton and Typhon, leak pretty bad. So, looks like Arrma did a really good improvement on that.

The shocks stink imho . Weird take apart . Bouncy , can’t be fine tuned . We ll see though . Just inboxed one yesterday and noticed right away the shocks have zero dampening , very springy instead of the oil slowing the springiness down . Anyways , glad to see oil filled shocks anyways . Feels like mine have zero oil and they’re too weird to take apart IMHO . Looks like they can be damaged or lose their ability to hold oil of they come apart . Good thing everythjng can be fixed but I’d rather see some typhon 6s alu I um shocks . I did order some good reviewed ones form Amazon . A lot of them have bad reviews I saw , lol . Broken at the top or bottom shock mounts or the shaft snaps or bends easily .
Sorry to sound like Debbie downer . I’m glad I have it . I know glad Arrma makes an affordable vehicle . I got mine bnib for $200 with extra tires 👍👍. Good ol fb marketplace . Sometimes folks get these and they break or they think they’re broke or can’t figure out what’s wrong . The guy I got mine from didn’t know about the arrma 2yr warranty . Nothjng was broke though . He had bought two and one sat in box

Yeah, the v1 and v2 3s BLX models actually have weaker a arms and the plastic parts than the v3 models like our Granite. Even if you don't get a v3 model, your v2 Senton should be enough fun for a while! 😊👍
Ya, a will be getting the exact granite as yours for Christmas. My senton is fun, btw the diffs are the same and they strip a lot, the easiest way to fix it is have a few diffrential input gear spares, and then if u actually strip the diff like me get a hole new one for like 15 dollars of ebay. It is also cheaper that way. And if u have a few diff input spares just get the diff without the input gear, and just the main big gear 37 tooth. Doing it the other way just replacing the diff 37t gear will cost u more, and a lot more work.. Hope this helps. Thanks
And another tip, to make the thing even more strong if u have wd 40 spray all the arms and drive shafts and all those plastic parts, just try to avoid doing it on the chasis, because the wd 40 make the plastics flex more. You don't want the chasis to flex a hole lot because it can sometimes cause some damage inside the car. And avoid the barrings it will take the greace and oil out.. And did they change the plastics on the v3, 8f they did I had no idea. Never heard anyone talking about that.

Great review! Could you give me the battery tray size? I want to make sure I can fit a 9000 in there before ordering for my kids Christmas presents.
I'm not sure on the tray size, but the most I could fit in there with a tiny amount of space left was a hardcase 5000 mah. You might be able to fit in a 5200 mah, but not anything bigger. Your kids will love the Granite, it's a blast! 🎅✌️
You would need a huge esc for a 9000 batt
@@TheTerrypcurtin the battery size is just your run time! Luckily arrma put the specs on their website so I was able to get the biggest battery to fit the tray before putting them all under the tree. I went with the Zeee 8000mAh 3S 11.1V 100C Hardcase LiPo Battery and get roughly an hr of play time depending on our driving. Now if they would just quit breaking all the time I'd be overjoyed👀🤺 💪🏽
just to let you know, arrmas been having a problem with the diffs, only ran my granite a few times and the rear diff is stripped,
Thanks for the information. Hopefully we won't have that problem soon! 😬 We've been running our Granite almost every day for over a month, but nothing with the diffs has happened yet. Let's hope ours will still hold up! 🤞😂
Someone stole both my rcs so now I’m looking for something new. I had a traxxas rally and an axial yeti...is this a good all arounder to get. I’m wanting a basher I can upgrade in this price range...if anyone has any suggestions please help a brother out im so freaking bummed out

The granite is the only on of the 3s Arrma line that I don't have. I'm thinking about getting one. For the money these are awesome RC's.
You have to get one! For the price, durability, and how well it performs, you cannot go wrong! I love the Granite, it's my first flag ship RC, and I think I'm hooked on these type of cars now 😂 Also that would be so cool to have all four of the 3s line cars together, wouldn't it? 😄

Nice video. I'm a grandma looking to buy grandson 1st hobby grade RC car. He is only 8 but responsible. I did buy the brushless granite for $369.00. But can return till January un used. Can you still find them for $319.00? If so where? What charger and battery would you recommend? Easy and fairly safe. A RC hobby store said they would not buy this granite for a young boy's 1st hobby grade RC. I have researched forever! They tell me to go brushed first. Thank You for any responses.

Its plastic gears 😤
Yes, but plastic gears hold up really well in the 3s BLX cars, better than some metal ones!
the switches aren't to reverse your steering and reverse your throttle...... they are to reverse polarity if you change the motor and its polarity wasn't the same as factory so that you're not running them in the wrong direction
