    Mine are beautiful and taste great. I put 3 large bone-in pork chops to cook. I did add a little more regular paprika and a little more salt and pepper to the last 2 minutes (after the entire 20 minutes). I didn't have any chili powder, but the smoked paprika I used gave them a lot of flavor with just enough of a liittle kick. I did not use the egg wash on these. I also sprayed some Pam before I put them in - just in case they might stick. Worked great.

    I just got my speedi and wanted pork chops for dinner but I wasn't sure of the cook time with bone-in chops. The speedi recipe builder only gives Boneless chops and chicken as an option. Thank you for this!

    I have tried a few of your recipes James, and they all turn out great!!! I did a test similar to this video with fried chicken after watching you make it....I did a batch dipped in egg then flour.... another batch just flour and seasonings, and finally, eggs flour and bread crumbs...they all turned out great!! Keep the recipes coming please!!!!

    My boys and I are enjoying this one as I write this. Love the flour coating. Tasty, yet mild. I used a thicker cut of chop because that is what the store had. It came out perfect. Thanks James.

    Love your Chanel James. And would love if you’d temp them at the end. I like my pork chops at 140 so I might need to up the temp to get the crisp sooner so as to not go over the 140. If yours were about 140 I’ll stick with your numbers. But as always…..YUM!!!!! Thanks again

      Oh that would have been a tragedy's returning your Speedi. I use mine almost every single day I've had it for several months it's wonderful. and James has some recipes that I think are pretty darn good. he overcooks his meat a little bit more than I like but otherwise on point.

    Can you tell me the weight of that Ninja Foodi? Also, can it be crispy and tender at the same time? I mean it's hard for me to see that.

  • @jlowe51
    @jlowe51 Год назад +1

    I can understand you doing the extra two minutes for crisper, but I think I would have wanted to check the meat temperature first to make sure they weren't being overcooked. Hate dried out porkchops.
    Also want to ask, do you think this would work good for Shake & Bake porkchops instead of the flower?

    My home health aide used the Ninja Speedi today to cook a pork steak using this process. But I would say if you have thinner portions like mine, then would go to 10 to 12 minutes. One thing she did that James did not do was to make a flour coating, I had her use Pork shake and back seasoning.

    I really like your recipes. for me you cook your meat a little too long. I like mine cooked a little less. I think for me I would turn up the temperature and drop the time by 2-5 minutes. Otherwise you've got some good recipes I wish you would do more with layered meals. I'm doing pork chops tonight but I'm doing the steam/ crisp. want to make a vegetable rice dish on the bottom layer.
