- Who doesn't love Crispy Skin Pork Belly, here is my attempt of making it with an air fryer, Easy to make just need to follow the step, it just takes some time and some preps.

To all my American friends and those Fahrenheit countries. The temperature on this video is in Celcius. Happy trying.
Pro tip : Do not use air circulation air fryer if you don't want your air fryer covered with salt.
I would suggest adding it to the notes in the video if you could! Luckily I cook fairly often and knew it had to be Celcius lol Thanks for the video!

I’ve decided to post a review after reading some negative ones ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB I followed the cleaning instructions prior to using and preheated as well to ensure that we didn’t get the “plastic” smell or taste some have mentioned in other comments. I cleaned the basket with vinegar and water and the dish soap, and preheated it 3x to be sure. Honestly, the cooking time took about 30 min for larger wings and it’s a good idea to turn the meat half way through to cook evenly. The meat taste delicious 😋 Also, there is no mess on the counter from the vapor released during cooking time.

Best recipes. Easy to follow to have good results. If you have a thicker piece, you should add another 20-30 mins with the salt.

A lot of the other videos I have seen people put salt on the pork skin first before putting it in the fridge. That way it will dry the skin out more than when you take the pork belly off the fridge scrape the excess salt off and pat it dry.

Can I just put the salt with the vinegar into the fridge overnight and take it off before the air fryer? Salt can dehydrate the skin the same, right?

tried this today and turned out perfectly... however, next time i try it im definitely leaving out the salt step as there was no real way to remove all the salt and it came out just waaay too salty

Boil first the pork belly with salt and lots of garlic for 20 minutes then drain it then you start cooking it in the air fryer yummy

Foil on better. We just need the crisp on top. Avoid direct heat to the meat for tenderness. Crispy on top Tender and juicy meat

Hey! Fine table salt or rock salt will work fine. Never try with coarse salt yet. More or less 1 kg. 😄😄

After 1st air-fry - How did you remove the salt cap without it all falling into the boiling caldron of lard?
This, i still have to figure out. It was messy just not on the video. Try to use rock salt (easier to remove)

Yours looks great, unfortunately mine didn't turn out. I had a much smaller piece, about 1/3 the size, and I wasn't sure how to adjust the cooking time or temperature. My air fryer only goes down as low as 150°.
I have another similar piece to cook your input would be appreciated.
Oh no, sorry it took a month to reply and if you still have the piece, cook for 15 min at 150 celcius and 10 to 15 min at 200 celcius

@ricohalimm this week I found out the hard way that I can not cover a pork belly with a salt bath. The fan in my air fryer blew all the salt off the pork belly and it ended up all over the inside of the air fryer. 😢
in the fryer with the salt? so the whole salt is in the meat later?
The salt won't penetrate in. It's there to absorb liquid so skin is dry enoigh to turn crispy
