Must have been a challenging decision but you have to do what’s right for you, mate. Loved your ED vids over the years, can’t tell you how much I appreciated them. As a PS4 player, my ED hours have slowly diminished over time so I won’t be as affected as your PC subscribers, but as a rep of the console crowed, thanks very much for all your support over the years, and the best of luck to you in your new direction.

You will always be my favorite Elite Dangerous channel. You always put a lot o thought and consideration into your content here and taught me a ton about the game when I was starting out, and I appreciated your science focus and positive attitude. You never really gave into the doom and gloom element of Elite but you still gave honest and fair feedback. Cheers, man! Good luck with everything.

Tbh, you should abandon the other channel, just do other space stuff here on D2ea and keep your brand recognition, RUclipsrs don't tend to do well abandoning their main thing to do creatively fulfilling endeavors.
I agree somewhat.. No reason you can't use this channel (in a reduced capacity) to Crosspromote and help build your New Channel! (You've done the work here building up your brand.. Use it to fuel and supplement your new project!
‘Doing well’ as a RUclipsr might not be the only motivator though, what if he wants to actually do stuff he enjoys?? Also he won’t turn back now whatever you advise, he seems pretty much certain on these plans.
He has a full time job. That mindset doesn't really apply here

Playing Elite in its first edition in the 80s playing it in my twenties. Stopped a little later. Rediscovering Elite (Dangerous) in my early 50s, i came to know cmdrs and joined our community. What a joy, seeing Cmdrs like you who were there providing your insights, views and support. You've become part of the embroidery of a much cherished game. My heartfelt thanks for what you've done. I hear you. I bought Elite when it came out in 84 and loved the short story that accompanied the game. Was so excited when Elite Dangerous was rumoured then demonstrated as Beta. Reliving the boyhood experience with 21st tech.

Good luck with your plans, while i have always drifted on and off elite since the beta just as the game has always remained installed on my PC, your channel has stuck in my RUclips subs and I regularly watch even now. You are one of the level headed/no drama content creators that RUclips needs more of and I wish you luck in your plans and will be happy to check out whatever you decide to produce.

I've always enjoyed your E:D content but I have slowly lost interest in the game as it continues to age more and more without much more tangible development. It has been an honor to be the man behind the music at the start of your E:D streams and I'm glad I could be a part in that small way.

I started playing Elite in 2022 and you are by far my favorite creator that covers it You having an extremely charming personality and I could listen to you talk about whatever for hours. I am looking forward to the new Cosmic Curiosity videos, even though I'm usually not entertained by similar videos. You are just very entertaining. I hope your personal life is as fulfilling as you want it to be. Being a RUclipsr full time is almost never healthy, regardless if it aligns with your passions in the first place.
