Invading a country to irradiate tyranny/communism - and then leaving that country after handing off the proverbial democratic torch, is country miles different from invading a country to own the land. Get educated.
Russia is not creative? Do you realize that they have produced some of the worlds greatest authors and poets, paintings, classical music, architecture, mathematicians and scientists? Russia is GORGEOUS. The reason that you don't buy much that is Russian is: 1. they screwed themselves with communism 2. ever since communism they have been the world's whipping boy. It's the one country you can shit on in any context and cannot support for any reason in America. All the former Soviet states have basically put all the sins of the Soviet Union onto Russia in an effort to suck up to the US and NATO. That's like if the US broke up and all the former states put all the Democrats' sins (slavery, internment, medical experimentation, jim crow, segregation, etc) on the back of DC and claimed that they were all 'captive' of DC during the USA. Russia is a fabulous country and culture. They may not always have good politics, but we certainly don't either. The reason they love Putin so much is that he is a patriot through and through. Everything he does is for them. Bad in our eyes, but great in theirs. They look past some of the violence and corruption because they have an attitude like 'that's what it takes'. We have our own version of that. You attribute mysterious deaths of critics as fact that he had them killed, yet you treat mysterious deaths of Hillary's critics as a conspiracy theory. There is no more evidence for one than the other. All-in-all, Russia and Russians are fiercely loyal to their people and will defend territory, heritage or ethnicity to no end, but they generally want everyone to just piss off and leave them alone.

Now it’s services, ideas, it’s technology.” That idea needs to be revisited and later you said, “Do you think that with Russia being run by Putin, that seems to me to be the last big country that might invade somebody. Im from Dresden and when I was younger and old lady used to be our neighbor who told us about the attacks. Unbelievably graphic stories. Dresden has big historic center with fountains and while it was burning people would jump into these fountains to protect themselves from it but got boiled alive. Jets with machine guns would hunt small groups of people along the river it must have been horrible. Dresden was not a military relevant city and actually had no business being bombed so many consider it a war crime
@@oc911 Although Russia was part of the 'allies', but Dresden was bombed specifically by Chrchill and Roosevlet to show the might of the western powers to the Russians.
I agree with that. However the main reason for attacking Dresden was revenge for the luftwaffe bombing Coventry. Both citys virtually had no military presence and both had an inflated population due to other cities being bombed.
That's basically tourist perspective. I bet you would go to North Korea and say the same thing. Try to live there for few years and you'll see much more.
Some Guy Just to bring some light: truth not heard about Russians have got talents and they are gone to where they are valued better. Watch for Russian names - they are everywhere (especially English speaking countries). I live in Sydney and nearly see as many Russians here as left in my hometown - former soviet capital - Tashkent. Btw Russian boxers are mostly the guys living closer to Caucasus that are traditionally fighting nations (culture different from Russian) . However the idea that Russians are oppressed by those in power - is in Russian culture. There is a story that is part of Russian literature school program “who lives well in Rus” where peasants tell the stories of their slavery like lives. Similarly during Communism people were treated like an element of big machine. I liked how on one famous Russian podcast Russian migrants agreed that Russian culture is desire to suffer. I.e. the mum of a famous comedian asks for a ticket to his show: “Just let me stay somewhere near the wall”. Comedian replies “I will surely get you one in the first row, no prob mum”. “No need, i will be fine standing by the wall”. This might sound absurd but my mum asks similar things - it is the whole generation of parents. I have a friend married to British, living in Australia with 4 kids. When her mum comes to Au her purpose is to help with kids and household. When her mother-in-law comes she spends the vacation around Au (taking grand kids for a day out of two weeks)... My mum thinks if someone criticises Putin they offend Russia the Motherland. And that is what happens to most brainwashed people. They think the authorities (Putin first of all) is Russia, they represent Russia and can’t be humiliated. Recently a new law got signed - you can’t make jokes on Russian authorities. There is a song by Zemfira (famous gay Russian rock singer) with lyrics “my mum and dad turned into TVs a long time ago”. My mum too btw - we can’t talk politics in the family. As I and my husband both raised by Russian parents and teachers are “Russofobs”. The term Russian media came up for people who offend Mother Russia “afraid of Russia”...

That theory is very interesting! It fits well with Jordan Peterson's psychological philosophy of "chaos and order," chaos related to feminine traits and order related to masculine traits. Basically, Russia has to much Order/Masculine traits and suppress it's Chaos/feminine traits. Creativity is found in the Chaos/feminine traits and this is where the creative force to update a hierarchy. But to much Chaos/feminine traits leads to chaos. Man in Russia are not given the chance to show their feminine traits also known in psychology as Anima. Therefore a hierarchy to have sustainability and ability to update, it must have a balance of healthy Masculine and Feminine, Order and Chaos. Man must learn to master their masculine and embrace their feminine side. Here in America and the west in general, women must master their feminine side and embrace their masculine side. This is the western countries problem right now, we have a unbalanced of to much Chaos/feminine and less Order/masculine. Whereas Russia has to much Order/Masculine and that will lead to man having a unbalanced psyche that shows the dark side of masculine and doesn't have the positive side of masculine come through. Men need women and women need men to balance the psyche of a hierarchy.

Russia is not creative? Do you realize that they have produced some of the worlds greatest authors and poets, paintings, classical music, architecture, mathematicians and scientists? Russia is GORGEOUS. The reason that you don't buy much that is Russian is:
1. they screwed themselves with communism
2. ever since communism they have been the world's whipping boy.

You know when the 1911 was designed? That's right, 1921.
Gun autist here: the AK-47 is simply the name of the stamped sheet steel prototype. The Russians had problems with stamping and the welds of the guide rails breaking so they adopted a milled receiver rifle called the AK. In 1959 they finally adopted the AK as we know it, under the designation AKM.
Welp Russia invaded almost a month ago. This didn't age well

America isn't that known as a beacon of free speech. Not because, you can't say anything critical on TV it's twisted or bleeped out when it's too edgy in language. AK 47 designed in 1957! These guys clearly have No clue what there talking about!
Hint: AK47 1947
I caught that too lol
Yeah, but the version people actually used (AKM) was designed then (well, in 1959, but close).
It's only a good rifle if you want one that is as reliable as a claw hammer.
When is that said

As an American, I honestly dont know if Putin has murdered journalists...and the only reason Im skeptical is I can definitely see my country spewing that to me as propaganda, which most Americans dont even consider.

@@lip124 they don't know much about country or people or culture. In Eastern Europe u would likely get welcomed by most people even though they dont know you. There is issue with organized crime here in most countries but still... U would be far safer than in some first world countries... At least when it comes to mine(Serbia)... And its always so interesting hearing grown ups in USA and other western countries talk so... Childish like about general topics. I wish most of u have seen some of the slavic countries... When an old wise person speaks they speak with calm manor and very elaborate thinking on topics... In USA it is mostly spoken with arrogance or with internet culture because there isnt one. It was a colony and became independent and is now facing social issues. It is best economy in the world but worst thing i find about USA is that how much internet was a tool to grow up for most... And i mean most... Nobody there knows how to fix stuff around house nor to do stuff around house. And when i say that dont tell me in rural areas they do cuz in rural areas carrying guns is so exciting. Here people who were in army and carried guns arent making everything seem so much of who they are, part of their identity. Anything in USA can be part of identity from sexuality, religion, politics, freaking anything... It is sad they look at themselves like yu gi oh cards... But most children here arw becoming like that here too because youtube and internet has made them lose interest into developing skills... A lot of plumbers, carpenters, etc are migrants in USA who come from different countries.
