If anyone dies in Texas from Beryl it will be later in the week from heat stroke, because if the storm knocks out the power for more than a day or so and the sun comes back out and starts heating everything back up to summertime temps, homes without power without AC will bake and become uninhabitable really fast! You cannot stay or even attempt to sleep in a house that's nearly 100F even late at night, it will kill you! So beware of the heat risks, if your area loses power and it may not be restored for a few days. Just saying. 😕

That's exactly what I'm worried about. Especially the babies and the elderly. And Houston always take forever to restore power.
