  • LG's New 32GS95UE 4K Dual Mode REVIEW HDR, PS5, UFO & Pixel Sound Test
Today, I Review the New 32" LG 32GS95UE 4K "Dual Mode" gaming monitor. THIS IS MY NEW MAIN Gaming Monitor for 2024. So many features and improvements let's discuss why this may very well be the Best 2024 OLED gaiming monitor and should be on your radar for that OLED gaming Impact.
Dual Mode: Basically this is a 2 way option Refresh Rate Monitor. 240hz at 4K and/or 480hz at 1080p.You have control on both options at a touch of a "Dual Mode Activated" button. 480hz looks very clear and by the UFO test done in this video we can almost see the Aliens Eyes in the UFO Test. Very clear and smooth. Bar far the coolest feature on this monitor.
Brightness: HDR Peak Brightness can reach up to 1,300nits (according to LG). In today's tests we show up to 1,220nits in a 1% window and 260nits in a 100% white window. HDR Peaks look very good and by far look more impactful vs any other OLED monitor on the market even beating out the New QD OLED's.
Console Gaming: XBOX Series X and PS5 work flawlessly. HDR as seen here with Gran Turismo 7 look amazing. OLED technology at 32" has finally arrived and with this LG OLED.. The Impact finally reaches Next Generation.
Pixel Sound: Perfect for anyone who does not have a soundbar, PC speakers or who just want a minimalist look. Volume in today's test was at 100%. It sounded very deep and 3deeish. As if the sound was coming from the inner middle corners of the screen. Very cool.
Coating: Matte Coating is found here on this LG 32GS95UE 4K Monitor. This ciating is nicer less oily Vs. the 27GS95QE which has a vasoline look. It has to do with how the coating is reflecting/ disbursing light being shined on it. Good thing is the Matte Coating looks great. More inline like the Odyssey Neo G7 Semi Matte screen or LG 27GP950.

Hey everyone... HDR is up! Took a whole day. I will try to make it where these videos especially HDR ones are ready to go from the get go. This LG 32GS95UE is an HDR King... *The matte Coating is the same as on the 32GQ950 or 27GP950.

hi Viktors, thanks for the video! I have the 32GP950-B and I like the coating so it's good if it's the same. The LG 32GS95UE is not available in France, not even for pre-order (certainly not before the end of May-June). he is in the top position to become my next monitor🤩

However, I will stay with the LG 32GQ950, I saw a video of the Civilization V game and compared the image with the LG 32GS95UE.
The LG 32GQ950 ips has a magical and better image than the LG 32GS95UE OLED, in my opinion.

Hi again, I found the awnser to your question. It may seem that "other" reviewers when they test brightness like HDVtest they use 6500k. Which closely resembles Warm2 for instance on tvs or oled monitors. I test mine on Warm1 basically. Warm2 does lower brightness. I dont use other review settings as Warm2 to me is too warm for my enjoyment of an impactful pictur that I provide and love to game on. This seems to be the case. Try both settings on your current monitor to know what I am talking about.

I unfortunately can not post the link on youtube as the comment would get deleted but this is from a research paper where they used DSC with a ration of 3:1 and people where able to tell the difference. Some even with a 100% accuracy. Now for 4k/240/10-Bit you would need a ration of about 2.5:1 which means almost the same level of compression. For that price…..

@ViktorsReality it's not that there's an issue with brightness. It gets bright, just not as bright as the qdoled in real usage and not the small 1% windows. I have tried the new 34-inch ultrawide oleds from lg, and they are way brighter. The asus 34-inch model was the brightest I have used buy hdr was bugged so I returned. The monitor just isn't as bright in regular use is my point compared to the competition. One last note, everyone complains about the magenta color on the gloss, but you can see magenta on the matte finish as well with direct light on it. I'm surprised no reviewers have mentioned this. Again, the monitor is great with good brightness, but the qdoled gives better brightness in regular use. Hope that helps. I care about brightness, so I'm keeping the msi in my case.

I am a lg fan boy I own a 65in lg g3 oled and a 65in lg b6 I would have bought this monitor but matte screen is terrible. I ordered the 32in msi 321urx it's unreal no regrets.

The 27gr95um is broken in HDR (gamer 1 and 2, post update). Way too dim and LG has apparently abandoned that monitor. Such a shame because it could and should have been an awesome monitor. I wish I had saved for the LG OLED instead (even though I prefer 27" and mini-led over 32" & OLED).

I hope they still update. Sdr is grear but HDR is what should be the main selling point and should be fixed

@@ViktorsReality I know! There are SO many good things about the 27gr95um, but the reason I paid $899.99 for it was for the advertised HDR 1000 mini-led performance. I was coming from the Innocn 27m2v which had an amazing HDR picture (once the settings in my graphics card were adjusted a little), but unfortunately, after a year of owning it, it basically broke. I've always loved LG (I have a C1, the 27GP950(was my favorite for a while), and a couple of smaller LG monitors, so I was excited to get the 27gr95um (purchased it shortly after the initial update, so I never experienced the bad blooming issues). My heart sank after noticing how ridiculously dim the picture would get on Gamer 1&2 HDR profiles if there was/is any sort of contrasty image(especially if I switched from Gamer 2 to FPS)...and it doesn't go back to being bright until exiting the game. I didn't return it because I thought surely LG would update it again. Unfortunately, based on their feedback to me and others on the monitor's page (and it is still reduced in price), it looks like they are placing blame on the consumer's settings. For example : They told me to "turn off DFC" on the monitor, but the 27gr95um doesn't have a DFC setting! Ugh. Sorry to go on about it, but I really want LG to at least disable the inverse ABL on ONE Gamer profile. Maybe if people make enough noise, they will do this. I don't have tools to measure, but I'd be surprised if the monitor actually hits 1000 nits in peak highlights. It is much dimmer than the Innocn 27m2v during HDR game play.
