    Nice knife. But didn't see if you tempered it. 400f - 200c in a oven. Otherwise it will be to brittle... thanks for sharing. Good job with a grinder.

      You are right. I didn't tampered it... I was experimenting to see if I can do it without using a forge...
      I decided that I prefer the traditional forge and tampering method!

    Nice
    🙂
    like it a lot
    But I'm the type of guy that likes big knifes. Got my own collection.
    You are the first person that I see sharpening a knife the same way that I do. And it work great.

      Thank you very much for your comments!! Glad you liked it! I tried to make this knife from a file without using a forge... Although it came out nice I prefer the old fashioned way of forging! 🔥🔥😊👍

      Thank you very much!!! I tried to add some brass pins but....it was impossible to drill the holes because I did not use a forge to soften the metal. Imagine that I used a cobaltium drill and still it wouldn't penetrate!

      Σε ευχαριστώ πολύ! Ναι είναι πολύ σκληρό. Προσπάθησα να τρυπήσω την λαβή με τρυπάνι κοβαλτίου και ήταν αδύνατο... Αλλά ήθελα να δοκιμάσω να το φτιάξω χωρίς να χρησιμοποιήσω το καμίνι.

    What are you using to cut and angle the blade?

    • @RustisGold
      @RustisGold  3 года назад +1

      I used a cutting disc and then a grinding wheel to angle the blade.
