    I love watermelons and plan to be a “copy cat” and make mine like yours. How do you sew the seams on the hexagon? Seam’s toward hexagon or away? Thank you so much for the easy tutorial.

    What width did you cut the green strip and what width is the white trim strip? love your tutorial and looking forward to putting one together!! Thank you!!

      Well, I made that a long time ago but I think the white is cut 1 1/4" (finishes at 3/4") and the green is cut 3 1/2". The pattern is great because you can cut whatever size borders you want.
