This is such a clever way to do Cathedral Windows. It looks a lot easier than the way I tried about 20 years ago! I’ll have to try. Thanks for sharing. 🙂🌹
I made one of these for my sister's baby - 32 years ago ! The baby is now having a baby so want to do one for her . Couldn't remember how - didn't even know it was called cathedral window ! Have seen several videos now - so many different ways !😄. Yours looks the best - thank you 😊
Absolutely stunning. Makes me want to go cut squares right now. May take more fabric than traditional method, but im older and have a difficult time hand sewing. I never thought I'd be able to make one of these.
EVERY single thing made sense here. This is the realist video I have seen and trust me I have looked at many. No words but a lot was spoken! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this amazing technique. I was always phased at the making a cathedral window quilt but your design looked very manageable to me. Bless you 💖
Love the way you made it look so very easy. I will not be intimidated to make cathedral window now. Plan on making a table topper first. to see how it will turn out. Thanks again
Hello WOW thank you. I have always wanted to make a wedding wheel quilt. You made look so easy and I know I can make one now. Thank you, a million times:)
This is beautiful and looks simple to make, but HOW MUCH WOULD A FULL QUILT WEIGH? I've slept under a tradionally made quilt, without batting, and it weighed a ton.
I don't know if these patchwork blocks are worth making into a large quilt. Very high fabric consumption. And yes, it will be heavy. I think these blocks would be better suited for a table topper or patchwork wall hanging.❤️
I think this patchwork block is more suitable for sewing a table runner, table topper, wall hanging or throw pillow. I wouldn't sew a full-size quilt. Too much fabric wasted. And the top will turn out very thick and heavy.
I wouldn't make a full size quilt from these quilt blocks. Because the fabric consumption is very high. Because it will turn out inflexible and heavy. Large sizes will be difficult to sew. These blocks can be used to sew a table runner, table topper, decorative pillow, wall hanging or floor mat. But it's up to you! It's my opinion. Good luck!❤️

Yes, these patchwork blocks are suitable for sewing decorative pillows. Then the squares should be 4 inches.❤️

I don't know if these patchwork blocks are worth making into a large quilt. Very high fabric consumption. And yes, it will be heavy. I think these blocks would be better suited for a table topper or patchwork wall hanging.❤️
Precioso!
Parabéns! Lindos trabalhos neste canal. Gostaria de saber as medidas em centímetros. Obrigada. 🙏🏻
Sorry, but I sew in inches. You can convert inches to centimeters yourself. 1 inch = 2.54 cm.❤️
@@themelodyofsewing6369 muito obrigada 🙏🏻😍
Have you done a full double bed like that.. Love to learn how, beginner. Looks great x
I think this patchwork block is more suitable for sewing a table runner, table topper, wall hanging or throw pillow. I wouldn't sew a full-size quilt. Too much fabric wasted. And the top will turn out very thick and heavy.
Jenny Doan at Missouri Star did an even more simplified version of this pattern. It’s not as elegant as this version imo, but you could take a look.
awesome!!!
Harika elinize sağlık
You are welcome!
I love this. Are all the squares 5 inches? Are you using quarter inch seams?? Thank you
Yes, all squares are 5 inches. In this project I have a larger seam allowance. My seam allowance is the width of my sewing machine foot.
How would you make a full-sized quilt??? Thanks!!
