- Mars is fed up with the oppression and unreasonable demands of Earth. They then proceed to throw off the yoke of tyranny and beat the Earthborn to death with it.

Alternate take:
A tale of a son saying, no "F*** you Dad", by joining the Martian Rebellion and leading them to victory. Unfortunately his decision would contribute heavily to the near-extinction of Humanity.

The tharsis bulge is an excellent staging ground to attack the tharsis shaft
Quite right, and once they took it, the Dusters would use the Tharsis Shaft to attack the Trench of Melas. 😉
I kinda wish in the campaign you were apart of the defense of mole deep with the knights attacking the base operation with increasing intensity, before all of the sudden they back off leaving you confused as you hear their garble text of them having to retreat.
Interesting note, if you take a look at the campaign files for the 2nd campaign (The Knights), the mission numbers skip 0 and 2. Which implies that the devs probably had 2 more missions planned where you faced off against the Knights. But they were most likely cut due to the stringent deadline at the end.
@@MacsLore Ah man. Their needs to be a remake of this game then with more missions to it.
There were a few voices, but his was Mark Hammil. Success was inevitable.
This was so awesome! I played the Starsiege demo so much I actually bought the game. And then it took years to notice the bloody news feed between missions. These videos help fill in many blanks too. I eagerly wait for other videos too (Freespace 2 pls).
I love these so much. I wasn't able to play multiplayer back in the day sadly but still one of my favorite games.
You put out fantastic work on a game I've loved ever since I was a kid, thank you so much for making these!
The work being put into these videos is so good!
i was playing mission force cyberstorm and wanted some more lore and came across you're website the starsiege compendium and then i found you on youtube by pure chance and did not even know you made that website into i watched the empire video you made nice job subscribed
FREE MARS!!!!!!
"Isn't that the guy from Star Wars?"
Keep up the great work!
Huh... a Hellhound; so... this was a BattleTech lore?
Hey, you got anywhere I can send a donation? I see your a small youtuber, but your videos are absolutely amazing and Starsiege is my favorite game. I'd like to send you a few bucks for all the work you've done
Thank you for that, really. But at the moment I haven't set up any means to contribute to the channel. I'll most likely do something much further down the line but I haven't decided when. For now though, I'm simply content at plugging away at making videos that myself and others enjoy.
His Lieutenant...yea I was him
Red Armageddon, ... Suddenly I was thinking about red faction lol
when will you talk about Exosquad its story is very similar to this
Was that mark hamill?
Oh Yes. Sometimes I wonder if he remembers voicing this game.
@@MacsLore i would love to know what he's thoughts of this universe or wing commander. Keep up the great work!!
Yup, he voiced not only Harabec, but Brother Caanon too.
You can perhaps hear it in the voice lines, since Caanon's voice sounds like a gruffer and angrier version of Harabec's.
@@terryalberts5892 He's got fond memories of Wing Commander, at least. It's one of the reasons he took a leap with Star Citizen, though he's been outspoken about its fandom.
