I have a Ridgeline in .300 WM. It's a consistent .5-.75 at 100 yds & can hold three shots to 1.5" at 400 when I do my part. I fitted the rifle with a kydex adjustable cheek piece, and a Leupy MK5 3-18 and have taken the rifle to the 1K line with happy results. 😏
that's the exact same setup my buddies got and I shot it, I love it, if I ever get the money for it ima buy it in either a 6.5 creedmore or 308 both really good calibers.
So many high end stocks on some of these guns but there's no cheek height / LOP adjustment on most of them. Why is this? I mean proper fit should be right up there with all the great features they already have in these stocks. What am I missing here?
Agree... Christensen Arms Mesa LR (long range) and the ELR models has an adjustable cheek stock. Only problem is they are significantly heavier rifles.
Weight is what your missing. That is a trade-off if you are a hunter. More weight with an adjustable cheek pad or less weight for carrying out in the field. Having said that, Gunwerks have a stock design that gives a good cheek weld for most people without the need for an adjustable cheek pad. Other manufacturers are sure to follow, but when?
@@johnwallace1729 yes. I have seen it first hand. 1.5 moa in some. Some may shoot just fine. Either way at that price range you should be having a reputable gun smith put a rifle together for you
@@hickoryridgefarms Agreed that is my next passion long range / precision and im looking at BAT for the action as they are literally a half hour drive from me in post falls idaho, and a Lilja barrel and a nice trigger and premium optics . i looked at a christianson arms yesterday and for $1600.00 plus i can buy a nice action /barrel stock for $2000.00 plus
Which rifle would you pick between this one and the seeking Havak rifle. Caliber 6.5 PRC. Also what scope would you select for hunting from 50 yards to 700 yards. Needs to be 2nd focal plane. From the 7th group.
looks like a 24" but not sure,...was asking the same question cause i like to get the ridgeline an dont know what to decide concearning length,...cheers from germany
Looks amazing. Love how Christensen and Bergara are taking r700 actions and improving them bc we all know Remington isn’t gonna do it.
And that is why Remington is no more...
charlie bowman good riddance imo
If it has that R word on it I won’t even shoot it unless I have to.
Glad to see someone actually showed the bedding. Thanks
Just found your channel and appreciate your no bs content. Thank you.
Just acquired one of these as my very first hunting rifle. Looking forward to getting out with it.

I just ordered mine now I need to figure out a scope and rings. Want a burnt bronze scope.
What Nightforce reticle is most popular for hunters? MOAR or MIL-XT? Trying to decide which to stock for our store…
What pic rail, rings, height, and scope were on that gun

I think the Traverse answers that well

For PRS, this or Delta 5 pro (6mm or 6.5?). Thank you. USAF SF
They look great. I wish every barrel they produced shot as well as other high end barrels.
You heard complaints?

I'd put all those components in a foundation stock
I wonder why the company has such poor reviews? 3 stars outta 5
The stock cracks in them bad quality
