    Absolutely love this recipe. Make it once a week and have for lunch or dinner all week. I add a cup of basmati rice right after the cabbage. Cook it all together. Sooo good I crave it. Thank you so much for this awesome recipe. From Vancouver BC. ❤

    I'm from USA, I will be trying this for sure. My family is from Greece, some came to America and some to Canada. Our daughter in law is from Canada and we have 5 lovely grandchildren from her and our son. To say, she will never go back to Canada to live as its not a place where she would bring our grandchildren in, thank God, but I will be making this recipe for sure tomorrow.

    I always cut and mash my cabbage rolls so every bite has equal amounts of meat, cabbage and sauce because it tastes better! I also do this with stew. Not esthetically appealing, but it's more delicious.

    I used to eat this all the time as a child. Doing the rolls was a lot of effort for a working mother, so she would do this instead. She swears by frying the onions in bacon grease first, and mixed the rice into the pot. I'll try your way next time!

    • @KeriPratt
      @KeriPratt  Месяц назад

      Bacon grease would be an awesome addition, but not something that I always have on hand. I love adding rice, my husband not so much, so that's why I add it in later for my dinner.

    " Lazy man Stuffed Cabbage " minute rice/onion/meatball on chopped cabbage/onion in a lidded roaster, green cabbage on bottom, meatball in middle later, white cabbage hearts on top with onion, top with undiluted tomato soup, bake 350F x 2 hrs. . ..NEVER use ground pepper,. . . NEVER "spice it up". . . bake with chopped red or green bell peppers as option. . .
