You just solved my Polish/Ukrainian cabbage roll issues! Stuffed cabbage for one person is a nightmare! This looks so much easier and just as delicious! Don't forget a big dollop of sour cream 😋

Absolutely love this recipe. Make it once a week and have for lunch or dinner all week. I add a cup of basmati rice right after the cabbage. Cook it all together. Sooo good I crave it. Thank you so much for this awesome recipe. From Vancouver BC. ❤
Finally no more hassle! Thank you

I used to roll the cabbage and now i'm single so I Started making it this way a while ago. Taste the same. I like it with baked potato And sour cream.
Baked potato and sour cream sound delicious! Thanks for sharing.
One of my favorite dishes stuffed deconstructed cabbage.
So good! Thanks for watching!
I'm from USA, I will be trying this for sure. My family is from Greece, some came to America and some to Canada. Our daughter in law is from Canada and we have 5 lovely grandchildren from her and our son. To say, she will never go back to Canada to live as its not a place where she would bring our grandchildren in, thank God, but I will be making this recipe for sure tomorrow.
Thanks for watching. Hope everyone enjoyed the meal.
Making it today,thank u 😁
I always cut and mash my cabbage rolls so every bite has equal amounts of meat, cabbage and sauce because it tastes better! I also do this with stew. Not esthetically appealing, but it's more delicious.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing.
@@KeriPratt Thank you for the acknowledgment! I tried your version of destroyed cabbage rolls; it's delicious! And so much easier than the traditional method. Sorry, I think I misspelled aesthetic. I'm a naturalized Canadian (born in Taiwan). I like how proud you are of being half Australian. Hi from Toronto!

You should show the plate after you finished cooking it. I wanted to take a picture of the plate but you were holding it
I love your video. I will make this meal. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
I used to eat this all the time as a child. Doing the rolls was a lot of effort for a working mother, so she would do this instead. She swears by frying the onions in bacon grease first, and mixed the rice into the pot. I'll try your way next time!
Bacon grease would be an awesome addition, but not something that I always have on hand. I love adding rice, my husband not so much, so that's why I add it in later for my dinner.
I harvested some of my cabbages today, guess what I'm going to make tomorrow. lol thanks for the video
Can’t wait to hear how it turns out for you!
@@KeriPratt Hi I watched your video on no bake pop corn I was wondering if you can make it with butter instead.
@@susanabushaban2719 definitely! It would probably taste even better! 😉

Thanks for watching ❤️ I’m so happy you enjoyed the recipe too!
I didn't know that cabbage rolls originated from Ukraine or Europe I just remember that my grandma used to make them for me and she was a Native American descent what she did have European descent I was in understood it was from Ireland and maybe Dutch
Instead of the tomato sauce and can of tomatoes I use a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes in puree.
I like using crushed tomatoes too! Great suggestion.
Im from Poland and have never had stuffed rolls (Golumpki) without rice.
I prefer it with rice as well.
I use tomatoe soup instead of sauce and no brown sugar.
The tomato soup would have some sweetness, so you wouldn't need the brown sugar. Thanks for that tip
Can you try making a goat dish. Like curry goat or roti.
