Having an entire video about wigs (and yes you highlighted black women), but not having any black hair Stylists and/or well known wig stylist on this video, is a very big issue. The commodification application and innovation of the wigs industry is very much due to black culture. And the lack of representation of that is very sad. Also after the 2000s, the wigs should have gotten better

Ok so as a wig wearer this wasn’t the worst thing I watched - there were a couple of nice ones - 1970s and 1990s one I did like
But HOW do you not show lace front wig for the 2000s when you talk about it in the description !!! 🤦‍♀️
For folks praising this video - you either don’t wear wigs or know NOTHING about them.
I have to agree some of these wigs definitely could have been styled better.

You are SO right. I'm a wig stylist, and Glamour YT consistently disappoints... These wigs are clearly straight out of the box Amazon-quality and look like costume parodies of the inspiration rather than faithful recreations.
I don't know if that woman who kept coming into frame (and did absolutely nothing with her tools to help style the wig on-camera) was supposed to be the hairdresser, but all the hard hairlines, parts, and clumpy curls should have been attended to!
