The Elias is more designed to be your dominant side pouch, and the Sx2 is designed to be your non dominant Fastener pouch, You can configure them however you want but you might not get what you want out of them doing it that way,

Seems like that SXS pouch is more suited as a non dominant side pouch, I have the grande 2.0 setup and I had that issue with my fat max in the tape holder but it stretched out pretty quickly.
Good info, I agree with 6 inch belt recommendation
I love my grande setup though

going back and forth between the ox and the sxs. Im a drywaller boarder and we like to keep a big pouch of screws on us, and atleast one more other spot for different sized screws. The fastener pouch would be on my left side, my non dominant side. Im still unsure which toolbag i would go with on my right side, to hold my knife, keyhole saw, chalk line, pencil, marker, rasp, circle cutter etc etc maybe a couple screwdrivers

Tool belts are always a working progress. I started off with super cheap then went Occidental leather love occidental think they are great for me they are too big, so I went diamondback artisan. Again love it it with the release of the sxs I will be going for that on my left and mazo on the right. That hopefully will do.

I've had the Mazo and Loki pouches for about a year, and while I do really like them, I just ordered the occidental finisher rig to replace it. The main reason for the switch is that the bags hold all my everyday carry just fine, but I have found that when I'm doing certain tasks like crown for example, I run out of spots to put things, like 15ga & 18ga nails, cut list, stud finder, gauge blocks, chalk line, piece of sand paper, glue, miter clamps, angle finder etc. Its my fault for buying such small bags, but I also dislike how low Diamond backs bigger bags hang and wanted to avoid them. Also Ive realized I prefer more open pouches, I find that really annoying on DB. I thought I wanted something with a smaller foot print for maneuvering in and out of openings and I'll likely miss that with the Oxi's but I think they will suit me and my workflow better. I do have the hammer and flat bar holsters, love those, I will modify my new bags to fit them. The tape pouch on you guys' rigs would annoy the hell out of me, another thing I like about the ones I got is they have a nylon loop to clip my tape on my left side which is my preference.

thanks for sharing your input brother! I agree the diamondback design seems to be less open then standard style bags. I do like my artisan rig for trim. You will have to let me know how the oxcidental bags treat ya. I know spencer lewis switched back after trying diamondback as well,

I don't have any carpentry on the menu currently but, if I did I would buy that set up for the hammer holster alone and then work with whatever else I have the best I could. Currently I just use a one sided Lowe's belt just because it actually had enough holes in the belt to fit me snug and I just dont need two sides worth of goods. The hammer holder on it is way low so I put another lone one on the belt for a other option but, even that is annoying...

Im a size 31 waist size, skinny as fuck weighing in at 178 pounds.
Your video gave me a idea, This will be my 3rd and final try, I ordered the womens belt. Apparently its good if it pinches your sides and they say always order you waist size, but for skinny dudes I think they need to go 1 size smaller.
My 6 inch and 4 inch does not stay on for shit, I noticed the more the belt raps around me, the loser it becomes.
