These are the same black rappers who rap about (and promote) negative behavior that is destroying our communities. So why is anyone listening to them? ALL they want is a check.
Karen you’re soooo RIGHT! It’s like these rappers think 45 is a boss cause he can talk tough but when you peel back the onion 45 would get rid of most of the social programs that help our communities. Folks just don’t get it. It’s going to take a significant emotional event for them to realize that.
The point is blk men don’t want social programs because they want they want to dominate black women and children. Because none I again say again none of them will ever been equal to yt men. That is their hope.
You know, I think they wish they were him. They want the ability to say and do ridiculous stuff and get away with it. They want the white privilege. Most are just as morally depraved as he is.
I strongly believe when folks in our community talk about not voting, it has more to do with what’s going on in their personal lives. It has nothing to do with government policies. Most of the time they can’t articulate what these policies are. It requires emotional effort to engage in civic responsibility. It’s a duty to vote.
We should be careful on who we are in agreement with based on how we vote. I personally cannot agree with people who support turning our boys to turn into girls and our girls into boys, or who support the blood sacrifice of babies (like ancient tribes use to do in order to get and give power from/to their false gods) and tell people it's their right when it really is just the idolatry of selfishness. I live on the West Coast and the far-left thinking has turned our cities into drug-junkie and crime hell-holes. The moderate Dems know it, but are too scared to go against the far-left to do/say anything. I can't vote for people who support open borders under the excuse of asylum when it is really about destroying borders and nations to become one global community under one world government and ruler (easier to rule the world that's on one accord without borders and nations). From the other side, I am seeing more and more things that are turning me off from Repubs too, although not yet as much as Dems. We are going into a time period to where we are damned no matter how we vote. That's why I'm going to keep my mind on Christ. Presidents of many of the first world countries have been just puppets for a while anyway. When a military base has to secretly secure the base (media and public completely unaware) for a visit from "unknown" person or persons more than when the president visits, you know something crazy is going on. Yet most people brush all of this off because their minds are carnal and stuck on the latest worldly controversies (including racial) which are nothing but smokescreens to divert minds from what's really happening deeper than what's seen on the surface. In the future, race won't mean much because everybody who wants to survive will be a bot under control at the same level.

The reason why Black folks fought for the right to vote is because they had issues with the government. Not voting is tantamount to a child holding their breath because their parents won’t allow them to eat candy for dinner. Neither will get you what you want. So clearly these folks are in their feelings about something else. Being a responsible adult requires making hard decisions.

Many other Black folks were murdered as well for wanting to vote and all of them knew this was a possibility, but today Black folks are deciding not to vote because they’re not feeling their choices? Are you kidding me? You only have a choice because other Black folks laid down lives. Now republicans are trying to make it law again that Black folks not have the right to vote and many amongst us are volunteering to give up that right. When we don’t have the same rights, we don’t have the same humanity. We’re literally volunteering to be three fifths a people again. I was saying the other day as a people, we have more power today but refuse to use. For some of us, blaming/complaining is more emotionally satisfying than actually doing our part.
Why not try to abolish the party that lynch our people instead of getting into bed with them?
I say this all the time. We have to learn to separate and prioritize issues over our emotions. I know people who refuse to watch the news because it makes them angry or sad. They may miss some important information by doing that.

Since none of us are in the booth when affluent people vote, we really don't know how they vote. I don't know what to make of your comment. Can you tell me what your strategy is, because fear mongering is also an appeal to people's feelings to do something? We know that decisions made under duress are not the best decisions. This doesn't pertain to Black people per say, but should the people of East Palestine OH consider voting? They had a Democrat President and a Republican governor that didn't show up for them after they were poisoned? The same could be said for Black people in Flint or Jackson, especially when these people see money go to known racists that express anti-Black sentiments in Ukraine and Israel. How do you trust the process when the only punishment for politicians that do you wrong is to not vote for them? I ask as a person that has voted in every election since 2000.
@KB91879 From the outside looking in African Americans do not come together and vote as a block to protect the gains that have been made and demand the best for their communities. The result is bickering and quarreling amongst ourselves, poor health, chronic ailments, and many other maladies.

And somehow in areas where there are a lot of black people like Alabama and Mississippi, towns that are 85% black still end up with white legislators. I could equally say the narrative on Black women being the backbone of the Democratic Party and the total dismissal of Black men issues is equally or more harmful. The fact the party has sown and fostered division sets up this whole narrative as to why Black men are being watched or blamed when Democrats don't win. This happened with Stacy Abrams. That question could be asked of any politician considering regular people are not the primary people funding their campaigns. Please don't tell me a community organizer on the Southside of Chicago didn't know policies or initiatives that would benefit Black people. Lots of places you can go. Start with predominantly none white countries, that don’t have rigid social caste systems tied to race. All places have issues, but you won’t have to worry about your life being threatened just because of the color of your skin.

I have several friends in Mexico (Guadalajara in the Jalisco state, Atalanta, Mexico City), and a few in Ecuador and Columbia. Personally, I’m looking at Costa Rica and Panama. If you’re considering Africa; Ghana, Senegal, Morocco and the Seychelles are good places.
