I definitely understand what u said about heat damage. If u don't style ur hair in Wash n Go's no one will be able to see if ur curls are looser or damaged.
I'm straightening my hair for the first time since being natural (8 1/2 years) and i use to be do worried about heat damage but idc anymore. Like you said, I don't wear wash n gos. My styles are usually stretched

i have 4c hair and i honestly just got a baseball cap and cut out the back so my hair could fit and wear it like that and it feels so comfortable when i get home i can just pop it off 💜
