Avenged Sevenfold's intellectuals in the guise of musicians! they're just want to highlights what the human doing to this world, the drive to always want more and more, eventually leading to the ultimate destruction of civilization. that's was brilliant vision! And that's why i love this band since waking the fallen album and they're still the GOAT for me all the time! Great reaction dude!
Great reaction, guys. Avenged Sevenfold is so good, I’d recommend tons of songs from them. City of Evil was the hardest album for me to enjoy, but now it’s my favorite, I’d suggest you any off that album, especially Beast And The Harlot, Bat Country and Sidewinder. Edit: I forgot to mention, don’t listen the music videos of Beast And The Harlot and Bat Country because it cuts off parts of the songs.
Thank you for the recommendations! Checked to make sure we have all of them on the wheel. Also thanks for pointing out the issue with the music videos, will keep that in mind when we react to them :)
Fantastic interpretation, I think many songs are meant to have multiple interpretations. I agree that one of the interpretations is part of himself is missing after battle... PTSD etc...
Just stumbled across you guys since RUclips is random AF lol. But this is one of my favorite bands and song. If you want to continue with war themed Avenged Sevenfold you should check out The Stage. The video is very distracting so you might need to watch with the lyrics on your own time but definitely should check more out by these guys.
btw, vietnam was eventually liberated from the vietcong. we might not belonged t here, but there were hundreds of thousands if not millions that were murdered in the name of communism in vietnam. many millions more are still alive, because we were there. you might not think that was americas war to fight, but those of us who went to protect the average rice farmer in vietnam did protect people. how our soldiers were treated upon return, was deplorable.
You're 100% right in my opinion. We were careless getting into Vietnam (South Vietnam was basically an unpopular French holdover) but nonetheless you're right the communists were still worse. Also, strategically we were right to be involved. The "Domino Theory" was real and it's a miracle more countries didn't fall in 1975 like Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos. If we didn't fight as hard and as long as we did, maybe all of Southeast Asia would be communist?
@@x2zchat a little back story on Save me guys, it's a tribute to their late musical genius drummer and best friend since childhood Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan in the album Nightmare. That album was the last album the Rev wrote and Mike Portnoy took over as one of the Rev's favourite drummers to execute the studio versions. The Rev handed in the song Fiction as the last song of the album 3 days before he passed and its basically his goodbye letter, if you want to check that out too they band released the song with some of the revs vocals still in the song. Their response to Fiction is the song So Far Away. If you do So Far Away it woud have to be the official video for a very specific reason. Great reactions so far btw!
The end of this song always brings tears to my eyes.
His body made it back home but his mind died downrange.
I see, not all of him returned from war, hence 'MIA'. Thanks for the clarification
Yeah. Like the hurt locker. Gone
I always saw the moral of the song as even if you make it home your not really there. The person you went as is MIA.
that beginning is just a clean electric guitar
The fact that MIA is the album outro makes it hit even harder
Love the outro
The end Of City Of Evil...but It is The Begginning Of Self-Titled cause My playlist Go on kkkkkk
it was not a piano in the beginning it was a guitar.
Piano Is Only In Song Fiction And I Wont See You Tonight
Glad your not the only one who notice thats

That’s guitar in the opening, not piano. There’s no piano in this song
