This is Avenged Sevenfold. The song is called M.I.A. I am Mike Cross an old school producer who is giving my point of view on the amazing group. Actually, there are multiple occasions where they are both playing. Granted they are harmonizing. On most of Avenged’s records, there might be three, maybe four guitars recorded. In the live performances, Zacky Vengeance (rhythm) will drop rhythm and harmonize with the lead and the only rhythm is the bass. Kinda like Dimebag with a lot of his music because he is the only guitarist.

Zacky is an awesome rhythm guitarist and perfect foil for Syn, but when it comes down to those tech solos, it’s Syn all the way. Of course, the mix will add other parts from Zack and Syn alike. My favorite band, can’t wait until the world is up and running. Stay safe everyone.
Glad you are the only RUclipsr that reacts to A7X gem songs. Their underrated songs are usually their best ones. Then again i love all their songs

I called it Vengeance Gates (i still like Zacky more tbh).
It makes me feel good to see someone get as excited about an A7x solo as I do. Synyster Gates has the ability to paint a picture and set the mood and tone for his solos. Kind of like how Stephen King will describe a scenario in his books for pages before he gets to what he’s actually describing. You can literally see and feel what he’s getting at.
Gates is definitely a different breed of metal guitarist. You'll rarely see him thrashing his head like the typical metal prototype. Usually it looks like he's playing each note with his heart and soul instead

By the way, Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band, and MIA was the first song I heard from them, I'm a drummer and I admired their drummer a lot for his style and he was somehow an influence on me. around 2008. I was a fan of the band ever since. Jimmy Sullivan, their drummer dies in 2009. It was a great loss.
I adopted a dog and named him Jimmy.

It feels like it brings me to many places with all the changes.
Dude was commenting on the music, the lyrics are the best part of the song. Not taking anything away from the music, it's amazing. But the point of the song is more important.

Whenever you hear a waltz at a quick pace your best bet is 6/8 instead of 3/4. It has the same feel, but the three note phrase is accented by eighth notes instead of quarter notes.

Lol nah it just goes to show how nasty Syn is on the solo. You can hear Zacky a lil bit doing some but it's alllll Syn. I love that man and his exceptional talent on the guitar ❤😂 this song is super deep though. One of their best as far as songs for our troops.
