some tacky business: restoring the display of my Casio digital watch, after destroying it at first.

this video is about my experience with removing scratches from and polishing the display of a digital Casio watch. It turned out to be more complicated and tedious than I expected, but had a very satisfying end result. I want to address what I encountered and how I got about it. If someone has some more info of the top coating on Casio displays, please comment. I want to get to know the thing I had to get up against and ultimately destroyed.
erratum: In the video I described the watch as the F-202, which isn't correct. this is the F-201 WA, to be precise.

I have noticed the scratch resistance has significantly diminished after my operation. Thing is though, I can now easily take those minor scratches out, in a couple of minutes.
