Looking forward to the falling spawner setup. I don't think there is a way to prevent the dungeon from replacing already placed observers, so you probably have to populate the dungeon on the async thread and slow down the population after it has cleared out the room, and then push in observers using pistons on the main thread.
You can't get more than a quintuple chest but it might be possible to generate more than 5 chests next to each other I am kinda a noob so not too sure but that sounds correct to me
This video was actually attempt #3 at making this. Before, I was basically talking about everything at the same time, and it was absolutely unwatchable. Also yes, I am Polish
On legacy console edition for some time, it was possible to push a chest with a piston, chests would automatically merge and there was no system to detect it. It allowed multiple chests to be pushed into one so I did the most logical thing any player would do and put a quintuple chest into someone's survival world, place a bedrock block inside of it and leave.

In the most recent update, Mojang is making chests pushable by pistons, and that they move together. They're also backporting these changes!
