The way Ezra says "It stops once I've fixed it!" Really emphasizes the trauma and desperation he is experiencing in order to preserve everything he loves. That line was so well delivered that it doesnt even sound like Ezra. Really well done.

I mean the CGI was looking good but I think where they went wrong was giving us that full view of him as the camera rotated around him cuz it gave us time to notice the flaws in the CGI and would've been better if we got that quick glimpse of his face then cut away
Nicolas Cage definitely should've been Flashpoint Superman
He reminded me of both Zoom and Savitar from the series cause of the black and demonic look and the wrist blade. Difference being both of them were great villains and he was a nobody of whom we got an action figure for no reason whatsoever
He was more like Savitar honestly. Both were darker, disfigured versions of The Flash with a focus of time travel that existed because Barry fcked with the timeline. Zoom was basically a psychopathic, literal Speed Junkie that practically became an actual Speed Demon
it's sad they didn't show dark flash vs the kryptonians. he had all that power and knowledge from thousands of tries and still couldn't win against zod.

I still think casting Ezra for this was a bad decision but honestly this movie isn’t all that bad and the design for dark flash I think is actually awesome
What would fix this movie:
1. Release about a year later so that animators would have time to "perfect" the CGI & overall animation.
2. Recast Ezra Miller.
The thing Ezra it isn't even a bad actor if you throw away every bit of bias he actually did an amazing job in this movie honestly I think if they had just released this like a couple years earlier a lot more people would have liked the movie
@@caliefgamer I wasn’t saying he did bad, I’m saying the movie did bad because Ezra has done some not very good things and I don’t think such an obviously narcissistic person as a fucking superhero fits very well😂
I think the reason original barry almost accepted his death by his other self was his realization that the paradox could end both ways in a sense( either barry) one timeline would have to be destroyed for the other to go on ( since dark flash barry pushed original into his starting his journy etc, and barry needing to go back in time and let his mom die in order to fix his own timeline) but to do so he’d have to kill either of himselves but couldn’t. I think this is what makes younger barrys sarcrifice for important for the fact it closed this loop up on its own.
This movie wasn't that horrible. Yes the CGI could've been tons better, but we all knew that was gonna be the case.
After stabbing his past self, I think it would have been more powerful if Dark Flash said: "What did you do? What did... I do?"

4:32 is that the lightning bolt that struck them both? Which would in turn be a reference to how in the comics Barry became the lightning bolt that struck him?
That would make sense since the wound inflicted by dark flash should've healed if he had his powers but didn't because he just removed the speedforce from his system so it could go and strike him in the past

I have a theory on how and why Dark Flash pushed Barry out of the Speed Force and tries to stop him from letting his mom die again.
Barry returned to the present after saving his mom but ended up discovering that the earth has been terraformed by Zod and Superman doesn't exist so Barry goes to 2013 to fix it by preventing Zod's invasion, He does it by recruiting his younger self, Keaton's Batman and Supergirl so of all the events would still play out in the movie but then Young Barry starts to go corrupted and Barry tries to stop him but then ends up getting killed in the process while Young Barry ends up becoming Dark Flash. Afterwards after many failures Dark Flash realizes that he still needs Barry to help him stop Zod so he goes back in time and finds Barry who just created the Flashpoint Timeline and decides to push him into 2013. Then he shows in the Chronobowl and prevent Barry from getting killed but at the same time tries to stop him from changing the timeline.
hot take: the movie would be a 6-7.5 if they fleshed out the CG 😔
They should adapt him into comics and movies he seemed like a very powerful character who mastered most of the speed force being able to control force lighting and such

I have really mixed feelings about this movie... But I won't lie, I love that they included George Reeves in this scene.
I grew up watching my Dad's recordings of "The Adventures of Superman" and George is still the definitive Clark Kent to me.
This movie felt like it was heavily inspired by the evil rick storyline with beths mom.
I thought that was Savitar when I first saw him

The DC franchise finally made us of their history, it was a nice touch to get all the parallel characters played by the original casted actors. But this story line felt too grand just for the Flash movie. It should've been utilized in a movie with a greater budget and more popular characters.
The CGI here looks like super amazing for a video game but Crappy for a movie…

Tbf it was mostly the actor on why the movie flopped. Nobody liked him at the time and still don't. Had they have released the movie earlier it would've gotten better reception. Hell if they recasted Ezra with grant gaustin the movie would've been great in everyone's eyes and cg wouldn't be such a big issue even though you have to admit it was pretty bad

why is it looks like it's cinematic of a PS2 game ?
Maybe it's just because I know my Marvel lore much better than my DC lore, but these DCEU movies often seem to have CGI extravaganzas in them that leave me thinking, "I don't know what the hell is happening nor do I know why I should care." lol
To clarify: I recognize most of the references in these cameos. I even know the general story behind the whole Flashpoint thing. But still, there's an element of "what am I looking at here."
I don't see what's the issue here. The chronobowl was already set up from the beginnings as memories from Barry's life that allow him to move through time.
Later Bruce explains that by changing past events you inadvertently create a branched reality that inevitably intersects with various other universes.
In this scene, Barry faces two diferent versions of himself who mirror the selfish decisions he took throughout the film. The message? Sticking to what could've been instead of accepting what *is* will only drive you insane and even endanger those around you.
Yes, you should care about it because it's a relatable theme, and the character at the center of it is a person struggling to learn due to the weight of his trauma. It's a poignant moment with clear rules and stakes imo.

Why is Superman(Nicholas Cage version)....fighting a giant spider?!?! I thought/think that was a dumb idea. It would've been so much better if he were fighting 1 of his comic book villains. I *think* it is a reference to the script Kevin Smith was working on, which would've been the Superman film Nic Cage would've starred in - not 100% sure on that, though.
