Orange Dreamsicle Salad Dessert
Orange Dreamsicle Salad Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 box orange Jell-O (3.4 ounce)
1 box instant vanilla pudding (3.4 ounce)
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 Cool Whip 8 oz.
1 can mandarin oranges 15 oz. , drained
1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions:
In a large bowl combine orange Jell-O and boiling water.
Whisk until Jell-o is dissolved.
Add cold water and allow to chill for 15 minutes in refrigerator.
Slowly whisk in vanilla pudding mix until smooth and chill for another 15-20 minutes or until it becomes slightly thickened.
Fold in Cool Whip, mandarin oranges and marshmallows
Serve and Enjoy !!!

I do a cake with this recipe during the summer. I make a two-layer white or yellow cake, poke it and soak it in either orange juice or sweetened condensed milk. Then I double this recipe and "frost" the cake with it, with plenty in that middle layer. I pipe some Cool Whip dollops with an orange segment on each one for some decoration. Store in the fridge and serve slices on a hot summer day! Not many people can or will say "no" to this cake! It is amazingly refreshing! Thank you, Marie...I haven't made this in a while! This does look so yummy, will definitely try this one. I make a similar side dish for Thanksgiving with orange jello and cottage cheese, mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple. The night before I make it I put the oranges and pineapple in a sieve over a bowl in the refrigerator overnight to drain. I used to make this for work for our department dinners. Wish I had this recipe then, it would have been a big hit!!! Thanks for sharing.🥰

One of my favorites , was so yummy and a easy peasy dessert. I remember eating orange dreamlike ice cream on a stick that used for taffy apples. We'd get from the ice cream man. Yes you could! It just makes it taste more like mandarin orange.😉 Refrigerate your oranges with the juice first so it’s cold ( for the cold water).
