He is so cute and smart, too! I used to make a lime dessert with grated carrots and crushed pineapple along with chopped pecans. Instead of the cold water, I used either 7-Up or Sprite in the amounts in the Jello directions. For quick setting, I added ice to the beverage to make the cup of cold water, reducing the hot to 3/4 cup. I served this on lettuce leaves.

Orange jello is the tastiest I believe! This is such a neat idea! I'm not usually into fruity desserts but I'd go all for this! Looks great for a crowd or you could modify it in a ramekin for a single portion! Thanks for sharing this creative and very colourful dessert!
