Back in 1971 my foster mom made lime jello in a round jello mold. In the jello was finely chopped celery, finely shredded carrots, chopped nuts, and I don't remember what else, but I do remember it was awesome!!! I'm doing low carb at the moment, so I think sugar free would make a delightful treat.
💯 CORRECT… WHO DOES KEVIN THINK HE IS❓ 🤣😂🤣♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤣😂🤣 WE ALL HAD JELLO QUEEN MOM’s AND ALL OF US LOVED & HATED SOME OF THE JELLO DISHES THAT WERE SET-BEFORE-US 😁 WE THE CHILDREN OF ALL AGES SAMPLED ALL THE CREATIVE JELLO RECIPES OUR MOTHER’s PREPARED 🤣😂🤣
My mother used to make two layers of strawberry jello on top of lime jello then a layer of cream cheese mixed with walnuts .Then another two layers of lemon and orange jello . It was very good. For parties she would make a crown of jewels with cubes of different colors of jello mixed with cream and lady fingers all around it.
Thank you so much. I have spent the last two days looking for this exact recipe. Should have searched RUclips first. If I am remembering correctly, my mom would blend in only 6ozs of cream cheese. The remaining 2ozs were smashed it in to very tiny chunks, spread out on a small plate, and refrigerated. After refrigerating the Jello mix for about an hour, she would gently stir in the 2ozs of chunked cream cheese and refrigerate until set. Those tiny burst of cream cheese were heavenly.
My grandmother taught me to make it in a double boiler. First arrange mandarins in a bundt mold, and put it in the freezer so the oranges stick. Then melt the 16 oz cream cheese in a double boiler, add the 6 oz jello powder and dissolve it in the hot melted cream cheese...add 1 1/2 C boiling water...whisk it all well. She added 1 C cold whipping cream and 1 C cold water, whisk it in well...then pour it in the frozen bundt cake mold. That goes into the fridge to chill. Then once that was set she'd make regular jello with fruit salad and pour it over the set cream cheese mix. In the fridge to set again. To release the mold she filled a large bowl with hot water and dunk the bundt pan in it for 3 seconds before flipping it out.
My mom still makes "green salad" for Thanksgiving and Christmas! She doesn't add coconut, but it is lime jello, cream cheese, mayo and pineapple and we top it with either whipped cream or mayo, it has long been either a love/hate part of the menu, but I love it!
The jello recipe I used to eat didn’t any cream cheese or mayo, it was transparent. But that sounds very good to me, I’d be on the side looking forward to the “green salad!”
@stephaniek6912 My Aunt Anna made the same green jello salad recipe but also folded mini marshmallows in it. It made it have a fluffy, airy consistency. It was so good! Jello salads are underrated lol
I don't put in mayo, but my kids always want my green "salad ". I add chopped pecans and mini marshmallows. Cream cheese, crushed pineapple, pecan and mini marshmallows in the lime jello
My mother made Watergate salad with lime Jell-O, cottage cheese, pineapple and pecans. My grandmother would usually make a variety of Jell-O with encased canned pear halves and/or shredded carrots. She'd always serve it with a dollop of mayonnaise. Somehow, it worked well together. I've not eaten either Jell-O salad in decades.
I wonder what part of the country you are from, here in MO Watergate salad has pistachio pudding, cool whip marshmallows, pineapple and pecans. crazy how these recipes differ depending on what region you grew up in. Alos, our family still makes it every Easter!
I made this tonight and it was very light yet rich at the same time! The taste took me back to the 1970s and I had a little heartache remembering loved ones who have passed. Thank you for elevating and sharing this simple, precious recipe.🧡🤍
I was born and raised in Europe therefore Jell-O was not a thing to me until I came to the USA. I have been always fascinated by vintage lifestyle, especially when it comes to cooking and I read a lot about American cooking style from the past. Jell-O was a staple and considered quite a fancy ingredient while entertaining. I Love history!
Memories. My Mom used to make jello with shredded carrots and cabbage in it. With miracle whip on top. On a bed of lettuce. We loved it…it was so fancy. Lol.
Wow!!!! I haven't had this in 50+ years. Yes, every picnic, church event, or holiday, mom always made her famous jello salad. You brought back many fond memories. Thank-you for that.
I so enjoy your recipes and demonstrations. I love that you take the time and care to present the food, upping its appeal. People seem to have forgotten the pleasure of beautiful china, crystal, and silverware. You instil graciousness into the experience.
I make orange fluffy jello. It's 2 1/2 cups water in sauce pan .1 3oz package cooked vanilla pudding and 1 ,3 Oz orange jello cook till Boiling. Pour into bowl refrigerate Over night. Mix 12 oz cool whip Then add 2 large cans mandarin Oranges drained. Fold in.I use it as Frosting on Duncan Hines orange Cake mix.its so refreshing and Yummy
They used to make that at MCL cafeteria’s in Indiana in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I LOVED it! They cut it into bricks about 3 inches high and topped with whipped cream. They had green, orange and pink. They had a version that had cottage cheese mixed in and it was fabulous! Thanks for the lovely memory.
Yum-sounds so delicious. I grew up in the 60’s-born in 1955. My mother and both my grandmothers made a wonderful lime congealed salad. There was no coconut in this salad-the recipe consisted of lime jello, cream cheese, mayonnaise, pineapple, chopped pecans and miniature marshmallows-sometimes they left out the marshmallows-I always loved it either way!!! Sure wish I had some right now.
I grew up in the 60's. My mom made jello cake. Which, i still make. My grandma use to make a lime jello/pineapple/cream cheese with cherries in it. I would ask for it every year for thanksgiving/christmas. Loved it. Still do. :D I am going to give this orange jello dessert this weekend. Sounds amazing.
Back in 1980ish when I turned 6 years old a distant family member made a Jell-0 for my birthday it got stuck with me. Somehow I grew up making all types of Jell-0 recipes I gather from antys, friends, or bookrecipes, and now website.. However this one is new to me, it's different diversion.. Thanks for sharing! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
This looks great! My 8 year old grandson will love it because he loves sherbet. My Mom made a jello salad that was a hit in the 70’s. It had strawberry jello, frozen strawberries dissolved in it, bananas, pecans and a middle layer of sour cream. I think some people added pineapple to it…not sure. Thanks for the memories!
Brings back so many memories. I remember, back in the 60’s and 70’s, my grandmother making desserts with jello, fruit, and dream whip. I remember her serving them in tall, parfait style (soda fountain) glasses. They always looked so pretty. This recipe looks wonderful! Will definitely have to try it. Thanks for posting ☺️
Thanks...Do you remember a freezer cake with cottage cheese, pineapple, jello and Cool Whip or Dream Whip? I remember liking it alot but don't see a recipe.
I'm not familiar with the cake you described. When I was about 8 years old, my mother taught me how to "make" Dream Whip. This was great fun, because I got to use the electric beaters!
My older daughter loves jello, dream whip and fruit. Makes a great dessert for a crowd. She is 50 yrs old now and a very accomplished lawyer, mom, wife and lives in our Maritimes.
Boy! Does this ever bring back the memories… thanks, Kevin. As a child of the 60’s and 70’s, jello was definitely a “thang.” So you remember the jello that divides into 3 or 4 different layers after it set? Early 70’s I believe. So delicious! 😂
Aunt Helen made one with lime jello and cottage cheese, and pineapple. Not my favorite! Mom made one that we all loved. Strawberry and lemon jello mixed, with strawberries, pineapple, and mixed berries. She put half of the mix in a fancy mold and let it set. I used to ask my mom find out how they made it. She would not because she didn’t like it. I remember they called t aspic salad. It tasted so good to me. Thanks for sharing
Hello Kevin! I’ll bet you think about your mom every time you make this recipe. My grandmother used to make Jello salads often and added a variety of ingredients. Thanks for sharing your enjoyable videos!🌻
I think my parents' generation just missed the jelly and jello craze. Although my grandparents always did have packets of jelly and the like in storage. Rarely, if ever used after the grandkids came along, I feel. My granny passed away last year and as we cleaned out her kitchen cupboards, indeed what we found was a bunch of (very old!!) boxes and packets of jelly and custard desserts. After watching you make this, I'm very tempted to find me some jello and try my hand at it. Looks lovely!!
My mom made one with Bing Cherry Jello. You subbed in 1 glass of red wine for one of the cups of water. You added 1 can of Bing Cherries and 1/2 can of their juice instead of that amount of water. Then, you add 1/2 cup of Slivered Almonds. I still make this one at Thanksgiving sometimes. It sort of serves the same purpose as cranberry sauce and I like the cherries and the crunch of the almonds. She would also make one with lime jello that had cottage cheese and grated carrot in it.
That looks similar to a dessert I've been making for 40 years using whipped cream, orange sherbet and either orange or apricot jello.I'm going to try your recipe using lemon as I have been craving lemon sherbet and can't find it in any supermarket anymore. Thanks for posting this recipe
Kevin, I think your mother would be very proud that you are putting this out here for all of us to enjoy! My maternal grandmother would call us and tell us that were to come in for whatever meal she was making. Any protest was met with "But I've set Jell-o!" Like your mother, she would have all sorts of concoctions for us. I was never fond of her veggie mixes. I always thought that was just a mean way to get us to eat vegetabes! In a twist, I am now near-vegetarian. LOL Wonderful memories.
I must try this version! I make a similar dessert my Mexican mother-in-law taught me by mixing chilled whipped carnation milk and jello. I ❤ your recipes, Kevin. Thank you.
Thank you for this recipe! I'm going to make it for Thanksgiving and want to put it in a graham crust. My Grandma would make Jello desserts at every holiday! I remember at Easter she would use egg shaped molds and fill them with lime or lemon jello, add shredded carrot or cabbage to it, serve it on individual plates on a leaf of lettuce and top it with a dollop of mayonnaise. And of course there was always the jello salads with walnuts or fruit cocktail. I have a big box full of my mothers very old cookbooks, and I will be looking for more salad recipes! Good memories, thank you! Have a Happy Thanksgiving :) to everyone!
When my mother in law passed away I found a paperback cookbook that was put out by Jello and it had every imaginable Jello recipe. I passed it on to my son and his family and they laughed a lot.
What a great presentation, i want a bite! I loved creamsicles and orange sherbet growing up and just rediscovered Redi-Whip so started buying jello again. Always such a refreshing treat. I grew up in the 50’s and we always had jello handy! Thanks for thus recipe!
I remember there seemed to be endless ways to make jello salad in those days. I'm sure that we had some style of jello salad at least once a week. It was part of my birthday party menu growing up. My mom made the basic fruit cocktail jello salad, and a cranberry orange cream cheese one for Thanksgiving. The cream cheese was more in chunks, and I think she put chopped walnuts in also. I remember the "Broken Glass" jello salad at Christmas, whipped cream -cream cheesy with chunks of different colored jello. The lime green salad you mentioned earlier in the video sometimes had cabbage and carrots in addition to the coconut. Fun childhood memories.♥️
Thank you Kevin, for this ‘Happy Hour” of jello salads!! It was fun.Your orange jello dessert popped up on my screen the other day, My son, passing by spotted the thumbnail , and went right out and got a box of orange jello!! Surprised, I asked what is this for? and he replied, its for you to make that orange dessert. Well, i didn’t get a chance to watch until now..My Vita-mix is packed away for lack of counter-space. I plan use my stand mixer to whip it into a mousse. Instead of ice cubes, I will use ice water and chill mixture unti it starts to thicken then whip,. Wish me luck. My son remembers a long ago camping trip with my Dad and step mother and she made an orange jello dessert.for us. This video was so nice, everyone sharing their jello memories.
My grandma use to make lime jello with celery slices in it. Its so wierd but something comforting for mr. Memories. Lol my mom sometimes makes jello with fruit cocktail in it or the fruit with the flavor. When she feels creative, she'll make jello and mix cool whip in it and put it in a pie crust. I recently made one with just strawberry jello and condenced milk mixed and put in a pie crust. Was pretty yummy.
I just opened a pk of jello poured it in a bowl, dumped a can of condenced milk and then the cool whip. And mixed it with my hand mixer and and put it in a store bought pie crust. .. she also makes one with strawberry jello, those tiny orzo rice noodles, a can of frozen strawberrys( save the juice) and a can of fruit cocktail ( save the juice) mix it all with cool whip and add a little of the juices as ya want. It's really yummy. I was surprised because its so light but a nice dessert. Reminds me of a Chinese style rice pudding. Very light.
Mom made Sunshine Salad. Orange jello, canned crushed pineapple, and grated carrot. It was refreshing and an easy way to get us to eat more fruits and veggies. She also made an excellent cranberry salad for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our whole family loved it so much that my husband began calling it Franberry salad. We still make it, all these years later.
The first thing I ever learned to cook in school cooking class was similar to this orange jello dessert of yours. It was called Citrus Whip. It's still makes my mouth water when I think of it. You might like to try slotting in a quarter cup of fresh lemon juice (substituted into the cold water). It will give the Orange flavour a wonderful tang.
Thank you so much for this video! I really enjoy trying vintage recipes! I laughed so hard when you shared the story of how eating the lime Jello salad your Mom made reminded you of eating a hair brush! That was really hysterical to me! I noticed that this recipe could be made low carb by substituting sugar-free gelatin. I will definitely give it a try. Thank you again for the video and for all that you do! Be well and be safe! 🙏🏻😊💖
Thanks for sharing memories and your recipe. I grew up in the 50ties in Germany and my mother used to make jellies too with different flavours and whiopped cream on top..
I'm sure someone else commented this but you can definitely still find canned mandarin oranges in heavy syrup. Found with all the other canned fruit. This recipe looks delicious!
We always made black cherry jello or cherry jello with walnuts and bananas. Make the 1 large box jello as per instructions and add walnut pieces and banana slices ( as much or as little as you like, we added 2C walnuts and 3-4 sliced bananas to the jello) and make sure everything is covered with the jello liquid so bananas don't get brown ( it will all float on the top of the jello). Chill and serve with whipped cream! When I got older, I let the jello set about 1/2 way and then stirred in the bananas and walnuts so they were in the whole bowl of jello, not just on the top! (People used to eat off all the fruit and nuts off the top and just plain jello was left!!) Use the mandarin oranges in the little cans, they taste great! I make my Ambrosia with them all the time! God Bless!
That's great! Jello was a staple in out 60's and 70's house. I remember orange jello salad with dream whip, mayonnaise, pineapple odd combination but oh so good! I'll have to try this one. Thanks!
Do you remember Jello 1-2-3? And I still love Watergate salad! My mom made jello salads and put them into those copper, (probably just tin) molds, and she’d turn them out on a bed of iceberg lettuce!
👌Jello giggles are always everyone's favorite, so much fun to have at family parties " one can create all sorts of shapes from Cookies cutters.... dream on ! Thank you for your share 🙋♀️
My quick and simple jello mix is: 1- 3 ounce pkg of raspberry jello and 1 cup of boiling water- when thoroughly dissolved add 1 can of cranberry whole berry sauce. That's it. Another is Orange jello with grated carrots - that's it! I keep/have eliminated, most of the cream cheese, whipping cream etc to keep calories, fat down.
I made this dessert tonight and I tasted it before I let it set in the fridge and I wasn't disappointed! I'm excited for tomorrow to try it when it sets!!
Hi Kevin .Ohio here. I'm a new subscriber and have already tried 3 of your recipes. Delicious and a bit of fancy ..I love it! My husband is more of a lemon lover compared to orange so I switched the jello recipe from orange to lemon. Light .creamy..cool and slightly decadent. I really enjoy your channel. Oh and ..I am so happy to hear that you and Mr Fox spread your love and generosity to Blinkie's mother. My heart feels for her.
my mom in law (born in 1928) was also called the Jello queen. You could tell the formality of the dinner by what type of Jello "salad" (I think it's funny we call them salads) she made. Plain Jello was whipped and various fruits etc could be added, my kids loved it because it was definitely more of a dessert with the main course than an actual salad. I read that Jello became so popular at a certain time because it meant you had a refrigerator (instead of an ice box) so it was bit of a status symbol to serve Jellos. I loved all of them with the exception of my moms "perfection salad" which was more of a clear aspic with veggies and olives suspended in it, so ghastly~ Don't know how that one became popular, lol. Thanks for sharing your food memories I was a little kid in the 60's too. 😀
Never mind the 60’s I’ve been doing strawberry trifle vanilla pudding on shortcake with reddy whipped topping still 😂 Thank you for showing your orange jello dessert. I have to try it soon.
omg!!! i luv this. tyvm. i once was invited by my mil to a pot luck at the church so i took brandied cherries jello.. i didnt know alcohol was frowned upon by the church. many catholics drank so i wasnt aware, well...never again.
Same here...I took jello shots one time to a church Thanksgiving Dinner...the men were all trying them in the annex room and the pastor even joined them...Ha.Ha.Ha!
Yes, to Jello Queens of the day and again these days! 🏵️💗🍥👑👸🤴 In the 70's my Mom made fruit cocktail jello. I never really cared for it but it was jello food so I liked it somewhat! 🍥💗 I loved all the magazines at the time featuring jello food ideas. Combining salad ingredients, nuts, fruit, even savory jellos!!! Such a morphing of all things back then! 🍇🏵️🍥💗
👋 hi Kevin. Just found your page and I’m hooked 😮. Your mother was queen of jello 😮😂, so was mine 🤣😅😂. And I love every single bite ❤. I make jello desserts to this day. Can’t get enough. Back to the video and yes, I subscribed 😊
Did your mother ever make a dark green jello with something crunchy inside like shredded lettuce or dare I say, cabbage? A relative of mine used to always serve it as a first course on a leaf of iceberg lettuce. It seemed to be lime flavored jello. Here’s the weird part- I loved it! I’ve been looking for it all over the internet and I cannot find it! She passed away when I was young and not concerned about cooking so I didn’t think to ask about it. I think all of her recipes are gone.
Could the crunchy part posiblbly have been slices of peeled english cucumber? i used to make a “mock apple” lime jello salad with sugar free jello., when I was dieting and worked at a diet center. It was almost carb-free.and satisfied the craving for apples.if you put the cucumbers into the jello while it is still hot, they will take up the lime flavor , or any flavor of jello., and remain crisp..
My grandma would make a lime jello with the mini marshmallows and pineapple, walnuts and cottage cheese! 😍 Currently, I love lime jello with a thin layer of mayo on top! That tangy and tart combination is so yummy❤ They still have mandarine oranges in the can. 🤔 🎉I SUBBED🎉👍

Copying my mother...l also made lots ...just to increase quantity of my pudding.😂😂..be it custard, fruit cream or icecream.
My-T- Fine pudding was the staple dessert in our house. Yes, we had Jell-O, but thankfully, we kept it plain served with whipped cream.
I would tuck a cookie or two in there. Love, your channel.

I'm enjoying the story that goes with this wonderful dessert ..If you love Jack Benny you love Jello !
Love this. Try peach Jello, cream cheese & 15 oz. can drained peaches, all in the blender. It tastes like a fresh peach. Thank you for this video.

YUMM~~O
I was just watching this, thinking how peach jello would be perfect in this recipe! Thank you!
I grew up having orange jello with fruit cocktail and chopped walnuts. It’s pretty, nutritious and tasty!

That seems to be close to what I had. I don’t remember the miracle whip, but it was on a lettuce leaf. What are the chances you could get that recipe!
😲🤢🤮
Wow!!!! I haven't had this in 50+ years. Yes, every picnic, church event, or holiday, mom always made her famous jello salad.

Thank-you for that.
My Mom always made jello deserts in the 60's, also. I love jello deserts! Thanks for a fun walk down memory lane!

Wow! That's sounds amazing!
Seafoam salad
Light weight..made of aluminium.😂😂

I make jello for grandson. I think he'll love this, thanks for posting this one Kevin!
We love your charming videos! Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful home!✨🏡
One of my fav desserts is orange jello salad with cottage cheese and cool whip. I really need to try this! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
What a rare find! I can only imagine the wild (and maybe, sometimes, wonderful) recipes in that are in the vintage jello cookbook!
What a great presentation, i want a bite! I loved creamsicles and orange sherbet growing up and just rediscovered Redi-Whip so started buying jello again. Always such a refreshing treat. I grew up in the
50’s and we always had jello handy! Thanks for thus recipe!
Dear Kevin, your videos are so enjoyable. I love every single one of them. My favorite part is your opening line: hi Kevin here…. Love that.
My mother made strawberry jello with canned fruit cocktail. When unmolded it was drizzled with syrup. So yum! This brings back good memories.
Oh Kevin Lee you're my Jello Queen 👑. I watch this video every time I make any of my keto sugar free jello recipes......you are awesome!!
That's amazing! I love hearing the history of this jello from your childhood and all the different things your mom would make. Thank you! 🙂
Just made today for my mom and her best friend Luncheon I'm hosting tomorrow. Perfect it's Hot in NY . Looks great
Thank you Kevin, for this ‘Happy Hour” of jello salads!!
Nice ..so do u mix condensed milk/cool whip with the jello n leave it to set in the fridge or keep it on top ?
Oh my goodness I am making this for thanksgiving 👩🍳‼️thank you so much for this Kevin 🍾🥂😋
I'm sure someone else commented this but you can definitely still find canned mandarin oranges in heavy syrup. Found with all the other canned fruit. This recipe looks delicious!
Yes, I get them frequently
I just love all of your videos! Keep them coming!
My aunt was the jello queen in our family. I’ve never tasted this jello recipe and can’t wait to make it.
Had to chuckle! One of my absolute favorite summer dishes include Lime jello, shredded cheddar, cottage cheese and marshmallows AND crushed pineapple
Thanks for sharing one of your mom's recipes! Looks delicious! I will try it out soon! 😊👌
I love the jell0 recipes of my Youth.
Mother served this in their Martini glasses memories. ♡
very precious.♡
I grew up in the 70’s. My mom did not make jello salads but our neighbor across the street did. I love, love, love ambrosia.
Thanks!
Omg my mom still makes that to this day. This was my favorite of all her crazy concoctions.
@@JG-lb6ld Haha that's great! No one outside my family has heard of it till now!
♥️♥️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏♥️♥️

Do you remember Jello 1-2-3?
And I still love Watergate salad!
My mom made jello salads and put them into those copper, (probably just tin) molds, and she’d turn them out on a bed of iceberg lettuce!
Love going back through your videos…I’m going to make this with my granddaughter-maybe she’ll pass it on as well
I’m absolutely making this…TODAY 😊❤ Thank you, looking forward to all your recipes 😊
Thank you, Ardelle. Your jello recipes sound wonderful, and even downright healthy!
LOVE THIS OLD DESERT KEVIN. WONDERFUL!
I made this dessert tonight and I tasted it before I let it set in the fridge and I wasn't disappointed! I'm excited for tomorrow to try it when it sets!!
Your story about your Mother being the Jello Queen was precious.😊
Thank you so much for sharing both your memories and this recipe. Looks so quick and easy. Have a great day!
Yum! I love jello salads. I’ll definitely try this. My mom made several we liked. ❤
Another great recipe with clear instructions. Just made this. Came out wonderfully smooth and creamy yet set nicely. Easy and delicious. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
my mom in law (born in 1928) was also called the Jello queen. 😀
Wow -- thank you for the fascinating jello-as-status-symbol history! How times have changed!
Kevin, I made this and took it to a card game today. It was a smashing hit -- they all wanted the recipe. Muchas gracias!
I'm so glad!!!
Enjoy watching. Nice jello
Looks so delicious mmmh. Thanks vor the nice Video and recipe 👍👍👍😋😋
I like the sound of your Moms jellies, my Mom came up with some funny jellies too, she still likes her jelly, so do I, so will be making this one. 😊😊😊
I have made this recipe several times and I love it
my mom made jello with a pint of ice cream. Same technique - sometimes incorporating mimi marshmallows
Never mind the 60’s I’ve been doing strawberry trifle vanilla pudding on shortcake with reddy whipped topping still 😂
Thank you for showing your orange jello dessert. I have to try it soon.
Watergate Salad. My mom made it too. I loved it! (the lime jello, coconut, marshmallow concoction)
You can buy the mandarin oranges in the can with the syrup at the Dollar Store food Market. 😋
I used tbis as a guide. I used knox unflavored geletin pack and used orange juice instead of water. Very good.
Wow never heard of this looks great I will make it, thank you kindly for posting.
Love your channel
Great going to make it for my friends lunch get together this week. Thank you.
omg!!! i luv this. tyvm. i once was invited by my mil to a pot luck at the church so i took brandied cherries jello.. i didnt know alcohol was frowned upon by the church. many catholics drank so i wasnt aware, well...never again.
Same here...I took jello shots one time to a church Thanksgiving Dinner...the men were all trying them in the annex room and the pastor even joined them...Ha.Ha.Ha!
🤌🏻this was a perfect addition to my orange/ tangerine trifle. CHEFS KISS 👩🏼🍳😙
Yes, to Jello Queens of the day and again these days! 🏵️💗🍥👑👸🤴 In the 70's my Mom made fruit cocktail jello. I never really cared for it but it was jello food so I liked it somewhat! 🍥💗
I loved all the magazines at the time featuring jello food ideas. Combining salad ingredients, nuts, fruit, even savory jellos!!! Such a morphing of all things back then! 🍇🏵️🍥💗
My two girls loved this jello ,thanks ,Kevin
Yes, I grew up in the 1970’s, but it was my aunt’s and grandmother’s that did this, so nice to bring it back!
@@prarieborn6458 it could have been. The one you made sounds tasty and healthy. I could try that one.
My grandma would make a lime jello with the mini marshmallows and pineapple, walnuts and cottage cheese! 😍
Currently, I love lime jello with a thin layer of mayo on top! That tangy and tart combination is so yummy❤
They still have mandarine oranges in the can. 🤔
🎉I SUBBED🎉👍
When do u add the cottage cheese ?
