Broken Glass Jello (Favorite Dessert, Simple and Easy)

- Hello everyone. Today I'm going to share with you a very simple, easy and delicious dessert from my Kusina. This is called Broken Glass Jello. It is similar to the Cathedral Window Jello, but this one is very simple and you can put it in any desired molder you want. This is a good dessert for kids birthday, serving it in plastic transparent glass. You can change the jello flavors depending on your event's theme. My grandmother, every year at Christmas would make something very similar that she called "Jewel Salad". She used cherry, lime, orange and lemon Jell-O cut into cubes. She then mixed it with Dream Whip (predecessor of Cool Whip) and put it into a 9X13 pan over a layer of graham cracker crumbs and spread more Dream Whip over top. If you were good, you could have 1 small square (lol). When she passed away, I inherited some of her recipes and it was in there. I was printed on the back of a box of Jell-O (probably from the 50's).

Hello do you know what "evaporated milk" is? I live in Bulgaria and I have never heard of that but I would like to make your recipe.
I have found 2 recipes. One says to boil raw cow's milk for 15-20 minutes and when you see a yellow film on the top to use a spoon to remove the film then turn off heat and strain through metal strainer.
The 2nd does not say "raw" milk just milk. This recipe says to simmer the milk for 30 minutes turn off heat and strain through a metal strainer.
Here in the US if we live in the city we buy it in a can at the store. I live in the city. I hope this helped. Good luck. 😊 💛
