You are welcome. I only made this video for two reasons. 1) Because I wanted to pay tribute to a great man/thinker/musician. 2) I did this for true DEATH fans just like you who knew just how special Chuck was during his short time with us on this planet.

A true Genius! His soul lives on forever in his music . Still at 44 years old and a lifetime of playing and writing music myself,I think Chuck was a true pioneer in the music genre.
i would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to watch and respond to my tribute of the late great chuck schuldiner. even though i never knew him his sound spoke volumes to me in every way. i hope my tribute will show the kind of person chuck was. i also want everyone to know that he was without a doubt the voice of the soul.
One day I'll learn this by ear, I wish we could see the other songs he was working on.

This is Craig Sease (Sease Fire, ex-Psychodrive) This song "Hardly a Day Goes By" was written as a tribute to Randy Rhoads by Craig many years ago. It features Craig on vocals, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. Chris Williams (RIP Dec 12 2000(Talonzfury, Control Denied) on Scott Clendenin (Death, Talonzfury, Psychodrive, Control Denied) on Bass. Chuck was proud to put this lead on the song as he was also a big Randy fan. It was done at Chucks house during a Death rehearsal. Scott

ive been listening to metal for 12 years now..i can say this with complete honesty..no fucker can solo like Chuck did..that sound is something we can never hear or see live ever again..no disrespect to the metal guitarist community but no one out there can match the emotion in Chuck's soloing...the sound is so different and so distinctive... 2 secs & you know who composed the riff.. wish you were still around man!

I want to thank everyone for watching my tribute to Chuck Schuldiner. I dedicate this video for all the fans out there who loved and respected the late great Chuck Schuldiner. For those who do not know the band performing this song the band is called Cease Fire. It was originally created as a tribute to Randy Rhoads but after Chucks untimely death it has since been used as a dedication to his legacy. The father of death metal will live forever. Rest In Peace Chuck.

Its hard to get over it when you listen to death's albums and think how much more good music he would have to offer... he was one of the few artists making quality music during the creepy (or it would be crappy?) ,metalic period that was 1991-2001.

@shuttsworth Dimebag and Chuck are the pioneers of each their own style. Dimebag was the pioneer of groove metal and definitely deserves gratification for advancing metal, but so does Chuck. Chuck made amazing guitar solos and was a great songwriter and it sickens me that all the mainstream stuff today overshadows good music.

It is Chuck playing. This is meant to be a ballad and tribute to Randy Rhodes. This song is still available to download for free on Chuck's official website run by HIS FAMILY. His family wouldn't post up a song saying it's Chuck if it wasn't Chuck.
I think we shouldn't be sad that he died, but rather happy that he was alive, and cherish the incredible music that came from this man.
