      he is a complex individual, to be sure. He has given tons of time to charity, has helped lots of people, but he has also held down talent and politicked his way to the top too many times to count.

      Jesse Bowman Not that I'm disagreeing with your statement, but as far as Hogan using politics, and you're right about it, but there are many wrestlers who have done and will do the same. After all, it is a business and the goings on behind the scenes, are just an example of how ruthless and cutthroat it is to make it in pro wrestling. Personally, I think if Hogan hadn't came along, someone else would have done the same.

    rather anyone likes Hulk Hogan or not he did take wwe from a small regional company to what it is today. of course Vince gave him the spotlight to do it but same could be said for both The Rock and Stone Cold. also glad to hear Hulk and Warrior settled whatever grudge they from the past before Warrior passed away.

    • @ajk
      @ajk 3 года назад +1

      I wouldn't doubt it was true actually, all the history being celebrated at that Mania.....I could see it happening, both elements of it. As much of a bullshitter as Hogan has been known to be, I don't believe he was here. And he still admitted to it essentially, give the guy a break.

    • @calypsoshoard9132
      @calypsoshoard9132 3 года назад

      @@ajk I think he would have been cooler just to come clean. It does show mortality and some vulnerability but that makes him more relatable to me and human...we all (will all eventually) have those moments too. I still think he is covering...the guy doesn't need a break, just needs to be honest IMO.

    The Silverdome/Superdome slip was really funny, and the crowd were good natured about it. I think both Austin and Rock ribbing him about it, and then him mocking himself at the end helped. I was pretty disappointed with his lack of activity on the show as a whole though. he was the only reason I bought Wrestlemania, and he had, what, 10 minutes of ring time, maybe 12 minutes camera time overall. I was sure he was going to at the very least Hulk up on someone.

    • @jacobniehaus
      @jacobniehaus 10 лет назад +7

      Stephen Campbell but that's the absolute worst thing about WWE these days. They overshadow the new young stars by having them wrestle the guys in their 50s and 60s. And usually, the old guy beats the young guy. It's just boring. And ruins the career trajectory of the new guys.
      So wrestemania 30 just having a promo by the old retired legends instead of a full on match was a really really smart idea. The whole night from beginning to end was about crowning the new young and great THE guy, Daniel Bryan. Of course he ended up getting injured shortly afterwards and so never got to have a big long title run. But nevertheless, that was the plan anyway.

    People talk allot of shit about Hogan, but I don't care what anyone says, he is a good man. Sure, the guy has done bad things and made mistakes in his life, but who hasn't? It's gotta be really awful being a big name celebrity, because every single time you do something wrong, EVERYONE knows about it, and they NEVER let you forget it. People like to point out all the bad things others do, but they seem to forget about all the bad things they themselves have done.

    just a little blurb... and I can forgive Hogan for this.. because he probably didn't know. The Largest indoor attendance for a sporting event was the 2010 NBA All Star Game hosted by the Dallas Mavericks at 108,713.
    George Strait had 104,793 attend a concert at AT&T Stadium this past June.
    So there you go... Indoor attendance crowds for both a sporting and entertainment event. It is a tribute to them both that the record for WM3 stood for 25 years though.
