- Emmy Award winning entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet from WOIO-TV talks with Hulk Hogan the day after WrestleMania 30 about calling the Superdome the "Silverdome", his thoughts on the Undertaker's streak ending, how long Daniel Bryan's title run will last, why he left TNA and returned to WWE and much more.

It's really great to have Hulk Hogan back in the WWE, being at WrestleMania XXX for me was such an incredible experience and one I will never forget. Hopefully make the trip again next year...
Wrestling is built on the blood of Hulk Hogan.
I agree with you 100 percent Brother. Hulk Rules!
+Jake Aye and Cena built the backyard where he buried Rusev and Sandow.
The blood of Andre
Man thank you Hulk Hogan for inventing pro wrestling. Before Hogan they were still running shows at circuses /s
Hogan is a good guy really
No..no he is not!
Yep he is, and he has evolved to a more spiritual person as well. Doing a lot of chairty for people with prosthetics and always blessing the big man upstairs. It's great to see Hulk happy again.
he is a complex individual, to be sure. He has given tons of time to charity, has helped lots of people, but he has also held down talent and politicked his way to the top too many times to count.
hogan's a junky and he would stand on a baby to get his face on camera
Jesse Bowman Not that I'm disagreeing with your statement, but as far as Hogan using politics, and you're right about it, but there are many wrestlers who have done and will do the same. After all, it is a business and the goings on behind the scenes, are just an example of how ruthless and cutthroat it is to make it in pro wrestling. Personally, I think if Hogan hadn't came along, someone else would have done the same.
Chris does an excellent interview.
Eye contact and great questions. I'm a fan! Keep this up and I'll rank you among Apter and Oliver!
what you gonna do brother. when the leader hulka Maniacs run wild to you to give you an interesting and exciting interview. ¿eh?
good to see you enjoying the positive things in life hogan. Glad you made up with Warrior before he passed on.
Hulk Hogan for Raw GM... why not
Because. And that's really the only reason anyone needs
Hulk is maybe the last Wrestling Legend from the 90´s after the death of the warrior. wwe should do everything they can to keep the Hulkster well never know how ling this guy will be around
The Undertaker?
Ric Flair?
Fogal Hawaiin
Undertaker only showed up on wrestlemania in the last 5-6 years. dont know but 4 me alcoholic flair and grandpa taker is not as big as hogan and warrior..warrior and hogan were ther long before flair and taker entered the wwe
cisco de leon Taker is/was huge. Bigger than Warrior. Fact. Not bigger than Hogan though. Sorry
Shawn Tr Are you an idiot? Undertaker has appeared in 22 Wrestlemanias since 1991.
That had to have been a dream come true to interview Hogan
6:21 childhood dreams come true haha. "Can I!?" Gotta love that.
I am so happy, that i am subscribed to you, always the best interview's from you, thanks, man! :)
Good interview!
That was an outstanding interview. Keep up the great work, it's appreciated.
rather anyone likes Hulk Hogan or not he did take wwe from a small regional company to what it is today. of course Vince gave him the spotlight to do it but same could be said for both The Rock and Stone Cold. also glad to hear Hulk and Warrior settled whatever grudge they from the past before Warrior passed away.
Hulk shouldn't have been afraid to admit to having a senior moment...didn't need the Andre backstory, nor the possibly fictitious pre-interview immediately prior to coming out.
I wouldn't doubt it was true actually, all the history being celebrated at that Mania.....I could see it happening, both elements of it. As much of a bullshitter as Hogan has been known to be, I don't believe he was here. And he still admitted to it essentially, give the guy a break.
@@ajk I think he would have been cooler just to come clean. It does show mortality and some vulnerability but that makes him more relatable to me and human...we all (will all eventually) have those moments too. I still think he is covering...the guy doesn't need a break, just needs to be honest IMO.
What you gonna do, brother, when Hulkamania runs wild on the "Silverdome"??
HH4EVER!!!
VERY COOL INTERVIEW
The Silverdome/Superdome slip was really funny, and the crowd were good natured about it. I think both Austin and Rock ribbing him about it, and then him mocking himself at the end helped. I was pretty disappointed with his lack of activity on the show as a whole though. he was the only reason I bought Wrestlemania, and he had, what, 10 minutes of ring time, maybe 12 minutes camera time overall. I was sure he was going to at the very least Hulk up on someone.
Same but they just wanted to have this big moment at the beginning without taking too much away from the current stars. Hopefully he sticks around for awhile, Hulk belongs in the WWE.
I honestly thought he was saying it on purpose for some reason lol
Stephen Campbell but that's the absolute worst thing about WWE these days. They overshadow the new young stars by having them wrestle the guys in their 50s and 60s. And usually, the old guy beats the young guy. It's just boring. And ruins the career trajectory of the new guys.
So wrestemania 30 just having a promo by the old retired legends instead of a full on match was a really really smart idea. The whole night from beginning to end was about crowning the new young and great THE guy, Daniel Bryan. Of course he ended up getting injured shortly afterwards and so never got to have a big long title run. But nevertheless, that was the plan anyway.
@@duffman18 Yeah, that's fair.
Great video Chris Van Vliet
Good interview
#SILVERDOMEMANIA
Hulkamania is immortal. Warrior is dead now too R.I.P, all the old stars passing away. We only tend to appreciate people first when they are dead. So I hope Hogan get some more moments before he's in heaven.
That was awesome......wish i coulda met the hulkster when he was here 6 months ago.
"Superdome, Skydome, Silverdome - all the domes". LOL too funny.
Hogan's great! And such a wrestling icon! I'll admit before I got into wrestling the only guy I would remember from it was Hulk Hogan.
this is awesome!!
Bryan is a 4-time World Champ, Chris.
While he won the World Heavyweight Championship once, he is only a 3-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion as I stated in the interview.
***** Ahh. I mis-heard. My bad.
WHC in 2011 at TLC PPV, WWE Champ at SummerSlam 2013, and WWE WHC at 'Mania XXX = 3 times World Champion.
+al112v5 you forgot night of champions 2013 wwe championship. He was stripped of the title the next night on raw.
whattheheckification Right. But 2013 was like, really bad for me so I remember not so much from that year.
Nice interview with the second-biggest wrestler of all time.
Hulk Hogab srill has so much charisma, even into his 60's, there will never be another Hulk Hogan ever
3:17 - No disrespect to the Hulkster, but the Silverdome indoor attendance record was broken quite a while ago. The 2010 NBA All Star game was also an indoor event and housed 108,713 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
He means wwe...
Almost 1k likes !!!!!!
skydome, superdome...lol..hulk, you are still the greatest!
Over 93,000 plus for Wrestlemania lll and the main event was Hogan vs Andre the Giant The biggest crowd in WWE History
Don't matter what hogan said in the past to me he will always be one of my all time favorite wrestlers of all time brother!!!!! Watcha gonna do when hulk hogan runs wild on you!!!!!!!!!!!!' 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Lol! That was awesome!!!
Wrestlemania 30 Hogan,Rock,Stone Cold-legends
R.i.p. warrior
I think Hulk Rock and Austin should have come out after Bryan won. perfect way to bridge eras.
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Bryan is not measure up to Hulk, Rock and Austin!
Silverdome vs undertaker at wrestlemania 22-0
brotherrrrr.....
Hogan has been more relevant, better used on TV, & better promoted in the last 3 months than his entire 3 years in TNA...
The rock and hulk hogan Are even, because they're both hosts of wrestlemanina!
probably hogan's best off screen interview of the last decade
With all the bad talk Hogan has been getting, seeing this interview really let me know that while Hogan might still fabricate the truth (Said by the late Warrior) he's still a pretty cool guy.
That indoor attendance record doesn't stand anymore, the NBA all-star in 2010 owns it now.
RIP Ultimate Warrior for those who dont know he passed away today figured i let fans of of wrestling in general know
The interviewer must be a big dude.Even though he looks small next to Hulk.
Hulk Hogan, so how much does that guy weigh?
in the 220 range....
Ryan Mcsween lol 220 ummm ya sure
Are you kidding me He's Hulk Hogan... 24" Pythons... He's 6'7" buddy, he's Hogan, he's 280 easy... easy. You really believe some 6'2" 220 lb dude could even attempt to pick up Andre the Giant, even if he let him...??? Really....???
I was just joking...jeeze...i know he is bigger than that !
Brent Clouda He's bigger than 220, but he doesn't look 280 either. I would guess he is around 255-260.
Chris does the best interviews.Put him to replace that boring ass Seth for late night.
'Silverdome'' was a work.
lol, gotta love Hogan!
ZoDiAcSiGnZ143 no offence, but hulkamania is OVER... hence he got fired and all merchendice is GONE from the site.
Fucking domes...dammit Hogan.
Not sure I believe Hulk when he said he was pulled off for a side interview right before he came out so "had the Silverdome on his mind".
Hate to admit it, but I think it's just old age kicking in with Hulk. This was apparent during his 2004 run with WWE, as well, when he was flubbing his lines. It just happens as you get older, unfortunately.
People talk allot of shit about Hogan, but I don't care what anyone says, he is a good man. Sure, the guy has done bad things and made mistakes in his life, but who hasn't? It's gotta be really awful being a big name celebrity, because every single time you do something wrong, EVERYONE knows about it, and they NEVER let you forget it. People like to point out all the bad things others do, but they seem to forget about all the bad things they themselves have done.
JMFSpike Wise words right there, Brother.
Who hasn't made mistakes? Mr. Perfect duh. How do i know this? Because his name says he's perfect duh. Names don't lie even if you give yourself the name. No your history man
Andre the Giant and Iron Sheik made Hogan famous.
Hogan was nothing more than a company man, like john cena. Difference is Hogan actually wrestled for the fame.
i agree he had the" 80s " machine behind him titan sports wwf etc.
He said it!! He said if it wasn’t for Andre the Giant then I would not be how I am today, and he also said that in an interview
just a little blurb... and I can forgive Hogan for this.. because he probably didn't know. The Largest indoor attendance for a sporting event was the 2010 NBA All Star Game hosted by the Dallas Mavericks at 108,713.
George Strait had 104,793 attend a concert at AT&T Stadium this past June.
So there you go... Indoor attendance crowds for both a sporting and entertainment event. It is a tribute to them both that the record for WM3 stood for 25 years though.
and when they drop Hogan like a smelly turd he will right back in TNA and saying it's his home.
mania was best one in years
#ripultimatewarrior #thankyouwarrior
harvey dent, can we trust him?
Who is this guy with the red bandana, yellow sunglasses, red-yellow T-shirt, silver necklace and silver watch on the right? He looks like a 16 years old teenager captured in the body of a 60 years old grandfather! XD
R.i.p hogan 4/15/14 @ 7:40 pm
He never died
I hope the hulkster lives for ever. he deserves it.
Say what you want about Hogan, but if there was one wrestler he loved and respected, it was Andre the Giant.
A 3rd time what? He had it once
hogan is at least 60 now and is allowed to have his senior moments. looks good though.
I never knew that's why its called the gorilla position.... interesting
Anybody else hear "sixth back surgery" as "six-pack surgery"?
Hulk is a good guy, unless you have to work with him. He’s a pain the ass employee
Ryacus that doesn't make him bigger than Hogan. The fact that you think he is a bigger name than Hogan is laughable at best.
THE SKYDOME THE SKYDOME THE SKYDOME
He is really 22-0 what is hogan talking about because of his contract mill workers do good not easy events shouldn't get easy money from Maine 2014 I am a mainer bless our state so computers don't lie about our money in the back in Augusta I am a Rumford person
hahaha.......can I???
SECOND
Hogan has been in so many stadiums. Give him a break.
The skydome hahaha!
Superdome hogan not silverdome!
WrestleMania 31 > WrestleMania 30
SKYDOME!!! lol he fucked up again!! hahaha damn
WHAT YOU GONNA DO WHEN HULKIMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU
BROTHER
Get a prenup next time Mr. Hogan.
Who cares what he called it. The man has been in so many domes they are allbthe same to him
Bryan is the same height as a the ref, fucking pathetic.
No I'm not but I'm all so not a super star
Hogan is a total simpleton.
LOL a little dwarf with the top title? really? Rey mysterio all over again. So glad I don't watch this shit on tv any more because with little people winning the top title is too comical.
So to be a top guy you need be above 6'0 really bro really.
MrApExDeAtH
Yeah brooo really. Looks fucking idiotic broooo a little dwarf being able to "defeat" big guys is absolutely comical fake as the show is. Like I said, rey mysterio garbage all over again.
Immorta124
Sure he can wrestle. But the main guy in the company? lol definitely not. And of course it's fake but it doesn't got to be a complete comical joke with a little dwarf as the top guy either. But different? hardly any different because it's still the same shit even with out giants like big show in there. For that point you wanna bring up so much then why not have hornswoggle the top guy? Because it's fake it doesn't got even be any sensible at all right? That guy can kick and punch so why not right? :)
kolz4ever1980 The crowd likes him, that's all that matters.
A: Little People of America (LPA) defines dwarfism as a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" or shorter, among both men and women, although in some cases a person with a dwarfing condition may be slightly taller than that. The average height of an adult with dwarfism is 4'0...
go away Hogan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
***** hollywood huuulllkkkk hhhooogggaaannnnnn 4ever brother
hulkamemory not immortal #hulkamemory
WWE is slowly dying and it's well deserved.
i so wanted a fight to explode between hogen and austin would have made wrestlemania even more awesome
Austin didn't wanna upstage anyone there, it wasn't the time for it and he knew it. The moment was perfect as it was.
