What time of the year do you recommend air layering for Atlas Blue Cedar

Cheers Sam 🌱
Very cool this is something I’m going to try on my Cedar of Lebanon 🇱🇧 and Blue Lebani Cedar
You sure are successful air layering. Nice explanations on your thought processes.
Thank you 😊
It looks like you've been able to keep using the greenhouse mate. I'm glad to see that Sam
Hi Alex, hope your winning! Yes for the time being however I have begun thinning the flock. il probably preform most my spring repots and a few new projects starters there, but by mid summer we’ll shipping my favourites home! This year has been a year of sadness and loss unfortunately hoping on a positive year coming 🌱
Lovely job
Thank you! 😊
Nice video Sam. Have you ever tried a fig? I've never done an airlayer , I've got a massive fig tree in my garden. When do you do them?
Fig is incredibly quick to root and take easily to air layering. I’ve done several this year all with success despite doing some late summer.
Hi Kevin, I’m sure that fig would airlayer easy in spring just after leaves have hardened off. Never done one myself but I know they work from cuttings. An old boy I knew had a book probably nearly a 100years old pictured men in the field root pruning trenched fig trees to restrict growth and give higher yield. Interesting
