Hi, my name is Kate and I'm a native Shetlander. I am totally new to bonsai and I've become very 'addicted'. I got several 'baby' sycamores today as someone was giving them away. I will be replanting them into bigger pots hopefully this Monday coming. This video has given me the courage to believe I can bonsai a sycamore tree!! Walked along both sides of the Charmouth beach today 14th May 2024 not found a single fossil? Strange how the you tube videos find loads of Ammonites on the surface

Any issues with frost/cracking in winter? Im in zone 5b usa so not sure how these would do...

Great video Sam. Any advice on repotting Lonisera please? As usual there's quite a bit of conflicting talk on the internet, some videos show the trees being bare rooted during repotting and others leaving a fair bit of soil on and around the rootball.

Great video repotting your Sycamore, I gave mine a much needed repot in 2022, there was still a lot of clay in it from many years ago but it is now much better soil and it has done well. This tree appears on my youtube channel in many of my videos, please feel free to have a look. Happy Gardening.

This tutorial is almost like watching a silent movie. With the music in the background (piano back then) and the writing on the screen (back then they flashed the writing on a black screen with white letters). Cool idea.
