Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia, strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

Wow..amazing succulent & flower both looks amazing....actually Frank my succulents which I got delivered day before yesterday are not yet opened...as suggested by you I have potted them today in a dry well drained soil....is this a bad sign? & Also the place where I have kept my succulents it use to get lighted as street light falls on it however they are inside room near window...but still it is relatively a brighter at night so do I need to shift them in a dark area at night....
no don't worry its ok that's not bad sign they are slowly adjusting lemme know after watering how they look ..in another two days you can go ahead and do a complete watering..don't worry about the street light the intensity isn't strong for them at night ..i usually have my lights on at night like the bulb that doesn't affect them at night ..yes having a grow light on at night will affect as that has more intensity but regular house light wont affect them much
@@LushGardener Thank you very much .....I also started watching mitti channel & I think that channel is also yours....Am I right??
Also I have ordered California sunset & it a kind of seems that some leaf are not well kind of suffered during transit...& Also I have ordered two Laxmi Kamal one is bigger but it's clown area is turned left side like it's not straight & other one is very small but it is good...but areal roots are missing in the smaller one so what to do now with them?? Any suggestions.....
I was aout to ask you this. some of mine are about to flower. I kept them in two different pots. one is plastic and other is earthen pot. the plastic ones are about to bloom
i guess the other one will also bloom soon :)
Hello here to ask for advice 😅😅😅, I bought some succulents online and when I got them they all seem fine as I checked on them there is no root rot visible so the next day a planted them but after maybe 2 or 3 days I noticed one of them have a mushy and rotting leaves at the bottom and I haven't watered them yet. So I uprooted that succulent I think it's name is Orion and cut it's stem separating it from its root because I thought its stem is rotting from the inside but after cutting it there is no rot visible so I left at the top of a clay cooking pot filled with rice hull thinking if I left it there it will root on its own because I had cut the roots of. So I left it in a bright area but after 5 days some of its leaves at the bottom is rotting again and I don't know why
oh no …too much for the new succulent to handle …I think the rice hull might have created some fungal infection..when ever you do a cut keep it on a dry surface only when the succulent is calloused you can keep it on soil or rice hull or cocopeat..when the cut is fresh it can get infected ..maybe the rice hull wasn’t sterile…you will have to cut it again and stop the rot …actually as it was a new succulent it underwent a lot of stress ..I hope it recovers and roots ..plz keep me updated how it’s going 💖
